Its very effective at the main tasks of running any sort of service to the home type business. We transitioned over from a much more complicated and expensive tool. This saved us time and money.
Its relatively straight forward to learn and use Support is there and effective to help you get whatever needed fixed (dont need to rely on a help search tool, its real people) Relatively inexpensive for a small business. Credit card processing is more cost effective than most banks.
Its a business planning and execution tool. It doesnt have provisions for bid planning or a recommended outside tool approach. The price jump as you go beyond 5 users is pretty steep and you cant go back once you cross that size, regardless if your business needs to contract seasonally or not.

The amount of detail recording kept for my rocords and to provide detailed invoices for customer to see what they are spending money on
Not enough marketing help going on... I could keep my financial and planning myself yet the amount of time saved is very nice

The ease of use and well integrated planning in the steps from lead to final payment directly to QuickBooks
Not being able to easily add an attachment and send through the mobile app version and lack of integration with Google Drive.

Absolute game changer in my business, you have to get it now.
This makes tracking and planning soooo easy. Any reporting you can think of is generated for you in seconds. Reports, Timecards, Online Booking, Monthly Calander.
When you select that someone wishes to receive notifications, they either get them all or none at all so it makes my reoccurring clients frustrated that they have to get a review reminder every single cleaning or so many messages about job updates that aren't necessary.

It has streamlined our business in so many ways! We're now planning our work weeks out which makes our field team and customers very happy. We love that we'll be able to track our efficiency and the productivity of our team and really help us grow the business.
We have a lot of customers that are larger contractors so we have multiple jobs on the go at all times. Being able to have multiple contacts for one account that you can choose from and assign to specific jobs to receive text notifications would be a huge help.

I have been able to save hundreds of hours this year just by using Housecall Pro by not having to handwrite 100+ invoices every week, track who has/has not paid, and countless other things. One of the best things Housecall Pro has been able to provide me for my business is a next level professional look which words cannot describe how beneficial this is. I HIGHLY recommend Housecall Pro to any small business and even a large established business
- Electronic quotes/estimates, invoicing, scheduling, payments - Tracks just about everything I can think of such as win/loss ratio of jobs, gross income, etc - Great customer service in regards to answering any questions you may have - Provide a very-well & in-depth tutorial of software when first purchased - Always take into consideration any input i provide and new options to implement in their software - Much much more that I can not list
- They do not have everything I could ask for such as an email blast (but can integrate with one of the best email marketing services available) - No route-planning - No automated invoicing via phone (only email which most people do not check regularly) - Ive had a handful of other minor issues I've encountered while using this software but a support team member has almost always found an alternative solution for me

Our main purpose in trying HCP was to find a way that our field crews could easily take photos of each job and share them with the office. In the past each crew had been texting me photos all day long and it was my responsibility to then email them to myself and save them on the company server. That got old after about 4 hours. I saw that HCP would allow our crews to take photos with their phones,...
Easy to access from anywhere and easy to share information with team members.
It would be great if it made it easier to plan daily routes for drivers/crews. For example, being able to filter jobs on the map view by a certain day or range of days. Unfortunately, I had to use Google Maps in addition to HCP to accomplish this.

Not many Cons at all. Maybe a little further development for minor improvements.

With this system we have been able to collate real time information on the allocation of resources, as well as the progress of staff through their training programme. We have been able to use the data to implement changes that can accommodate the ever changing needs of business. We have been able to identify trends, which enables is to plan pro-actively. It has also save a lot of time when planning and reporting on activities with the department.
