Pros

My customers are also super happy because HP tells them when something is scheduled and allows them to interact with us. More engaged clients mean happy clients that may spend more.
I love this software, I cannot thank the pros at housecall enough for introducing me to this product. The fee is very affordable and it has everything that I need to run my business daily.
I just like the ease of use and the organization of it. Keeps me organized and helps me accomplish more.

Pros

It seemed user friendly and like it would streamline our business. It has a lot of useful features if you can find them when you need them.
I was able to easily learn how to use Workwave and received EXCELLENT customer service during my training. They are available any time to answer my questions, and are very professional and courteous.
We liked the ability to track our delivery drivers.

Cons

They utilize a chat bubble on their website for support and have little to no way of escalating a problem to speak with someone. The implementation of new features comes fast and furious.
We reluctantly renewed for one more year because of the hassle of yet another transition, and I can certainly say it has proved to be a mistake and regret.
When your account ask for that information you will not be able to provide that to them. You will eat that loss on your tax filing.

Cons

They lied to me in the sales process about what customization options I had. Their "Engineering" department has literally not fixed one single problem.
We have repeatedly requested phone contact. They have taken money from us in error for a dispute 2 times (yes, one dispute = 1 deduction).
Non existent support, issues always blamed on "engineering" but unable to speak to anyone in that department.

I think this would be a good product but it lacks good customer support. We were excited to get started so we downloaded quick books into their system right away which was good, but we soon had some issues and needed some HELP with it and found out that the only way we could communicate with them was thru a chat line or do training webinars which were not until the following week. So there we were with multiple questions not enough answers and nowhere to really go. It is a shame that they don't have a good process to get you set up. I would have been glad to pay a setup fee where you could have actually talked to a live person and they would have gone through everything with you to make sure you were up and running.

Easy to use and many features I have realized I can't do without

Pros

It's ability to flawlessly send the data to Quickbooks Online saving me hours of accounting work. I also found that the software's ability to retain customers and get new customers, while I sleep with online booking, more than compensates for it's cost.

Cons

We have just a few places in our service area with no cell service, so we can't connect. But this is not often.

Tech Support is always there to help when we need them. Easy set up and only took use about a week to switch over from paper work order to paperless. Online Booking with other apps and our website

Cons

Cell service at times can effect your tech from being able to operate but that can happen with any of this type of service.

The tech support and the online chat has been great. i get most of my questions answered in minutes and the tougher question get answered in hours not days like my last software i was using for twenty years.

Pros

the texting feature to my homeowners is great, i get complainant all the time from homeowners

well it was not having a service agreement feature but housecall pros came out with a kick ass service agreement program that works great

The best thing about this product is how easy it is to use. We use it for all of our scheduling and to keep tabs on when we last visited a job. It also has an added bonus of having an app for all of the employees to use. This is great because it shows when a job was started, how long they were there, and when they left.

I think the online customer service could be better.

We have seen an incredible increase in reviews since using HCP. We really like that they automate so many features for you. Their online support is phenomenal, it seems like they really are looking out for your business. I appreciate their extra online meet ups and groups.

Pros

Time tracking for employees is made easy through clocking in and out on the app. Time entries are easy to edit and update should the need be. Recurring service agreements have been a great feature to help grow the service side of our company.

Cons

I wish that service agreements could be accessed via app.

Pros

How convenient it is to use from the initial process to the end of the invoice. Customer love how easy it is to approve a job free of any paper and convinient as they can do everything from anphone.

Cons

No reception no service, if you lack of phone service or internet. There is nothing you can do. The problem is that, it is the same with everyone.

Overall, the service worked great for running my service company!

Pros

-Easy of use for both technicians and office managers -Time tracking for jobs and technicians -"On my way" notifications to clients -Online invoice -Great and useful dashboard -Online booking enabled -Follow up postcards

Cons

-Lack of integration with other services (such as SendJim, etc.)

Absolutely love house call pro!

Housecall Pro makes our business look awesome and function like a multi million dollar company with texts, emails and postcard reminders.

Pros

The ease of use and customer notifications.

Cons

Service agreements not yet on par for our company needs

HouseCall Pro is a great fit for my business.

Pros

There are so many great features fit into the software like job tags, invoicing, customer alerts & review reminders, post card advertising, and much more.

Cons

I Wish that the app worked offline when I am out of my service area. It could save the info and sync once I return to the service area.

Seems to be working ok but needs more options when setting up costumers.

Pros

Customer service !! You guys have awesome customer service !! All the features that is offered works very well and works every time.

Cons

Does not Display invoice numbers in customer history, for my customers with multiple invoices on the mobile app . Technician has to go through an open every invoice searching for a particular invoice . Would also like to see a place where they can mark invoices complete or incomplete . Will not allow me to shut off tax function per customer. Has to be shut off every time we create an invoice for my tax exempt customers .
