Estimating, contract generation, reporting, and project management.

Pros

It's cloud hosted, and offers a very slick app to access from mobile devices. The standout to me is comparison to similar products is the ease of estimating job costs.

Cons

I didn't encounter anything that I disliked about JobProgress. I only used the free trail so far, because we don't do enough small jobs to warrant using this software fully. I do recommend it to residential contractors and small shops though.

JP right now is a love-hate relationship. I have invested so much into it, but yet I still feel like it is falling short and some basic but important function. I'm hopeful that these items will change.

1.) ease of use 2.) estimating portion 3.) workflow management 4.) documentation management 5.) sales tracking

Cons

I had my proposal template converted and it looked awful and I had to pay for it 4.) you allow google sheets integration but not google docs so I can work on my normal proposal format 5.) you have to be in a client or search for a client to add a new job to that client 6.) no easy accounts payable system ( i have to use dropbox for that) 7.) change orders estimate sheet has different settings from the normal estimate sheet. creating double work 8.)

We have been able to create a workflow that allows us to interact with more customers while keeping track of accepted proposals and project closeouts.

Pros

We were able to streamline our entire process from creating a job to building an estimate to scheduling and finally to invoicing. We are now able to automate and scale much easier.

Cons

We are unable to export reports in Excel.

Pros

Document management, job note capabilities and templating for materials orders and estimating are great.

Cons

The time tracking feature is basically useless because the only thing you can do is literally clock in and out of a certain job.

We are able to input customers at the first call and carry them through to job completion, with creating/tracking appointments, ordering measurement reports, taking notes, creating and signing contracts, and more.

Pros

Easy to use and customize, keeps everything in one place, workflow to track job status, custom contracts that can be emailed and signed electronically, integration with Eagleview, track notes, keep all employee calendars in one place

I am not able to email documents to Comcast customers

Eagleview Integration Electronic Proposals/Contract with notifications Macros for Materials, Labor, Activities, etc are endless Customizable Forms Google Integration Financing Integration Quickbooks Integration Google Drive Integration Fair Price per user POWERFUL Mobile App Customer Website to Share all documents, price, balance, pictures, scheduling, quickbooks payment!

Cons

At the moment 2/4/20 just lack of reports and 2 way integration with Quickbooks.

Would highly recommend it to any general contractor, but as I mentioned before is not extremely sales friendly.

Pros

Logical organization of contractor and subcontractor projects for ease of assigning tasks to certain projects. The mobile interface is amazing and I can manage 90% of what I need to on the mobile interface.

Cons

Does not lend very well to the ease of follow up lead management for a sales person.

I'm very pleased with the software, as never having experience with competitive software in the past. I have a lot of corporate experience and this was a seamless transition for me.

Pros

I'm new to the industry, less than 6 months ago. I was introduced to JP my first day on the job and I have loved using the software. I love that it has the templates available so that you don't have to re-write the same email over and over again when you onboard a new customer. Moving customers through the stages is very helpful from a sales perspective.

Cons

Sometimes, I find the document management a bit clunky, especially on mobile. I find myself having to spend extra time searching for how to access documents for a customer on mobile whereas I don't have to do that on the desktop version.

It's easy to see which stage work is at.

Cons

For any kind of reporting I know its going to be multiple steps and some exporting of a pdf document-then changing that over to an excel format then manipulating the data.

JOBPROGRESS has really helped with their mobile app features which makes it easier for all of our staff to be able to access and gives update on a project at any place and time with real time information been around all the stakeholders involved.
