I highly recommend SSK to anyone that utilizes field staff in the service industry. In fact I am sure there could be additional applications such as in salons or spas scheduling beauticians or technicians. Overall win for the user.
I have been using SSK for several years now and it has had a tremendous positive impact on my business. It was very easy to implement and customize and I have new employees adopting use within a day. We use SSK for scheduling which has a great drag and drop feature for rescheduled jobs. We also pretty much do all of our billing and payments directly through SSK and sync with QuickBooks. It is a great time saver from the time we answer the phone to the time the job is complete and payment is made. To top it off the support is great. I have had very few issues but when they have arisen they were handled promptly and with care. My business without it is tantamount to not having a cell phone in these days and times.
I would like to see more CRM features.

Easily enter, schedule, assign and track appointments/task.
Cross platform functionality. Works great on Windows, not so well on ISO.

I absolutely love this program and highly recommend it. The best CRM I have ever used, I have over 20 years plus experience with CRM programs so that says a lot.
This program talks with Everything! Your QB software, and has an app for out in the field. I can do everything start to finish in this program.
I would love the ability to color-code technicians out in the field on the calendar.

I like how the software is easy to use. I enjoy the layout of the CRM and it is visually pleasing to the eye.
I wish there was a way I could apply a large payment to multiple invoices at one time. Or wish there was a way I could email multiple invoices in 1 email instead of having to do the above in separate emails or separate payments.
Hello Rachelle, Thank you for the feedback. We thrive on the needs and wants of our customers. The single payment applied to multiple invoices is a feature that is on the roadmap. There are some technical challenges involved and we are working to solve those so we can enhance the invoicing work flow which will include statement like capabilities as well.

It was really easy to use. I was able to take my business from 3 employees up to 15 before I started feeling any pain. The estimates were customization with HTML. We were able to add some very cool code that would add offer banners depending on what was in the estimate. It tracks every time your customer opens your estimates. Great for know who to call. The software works well with quickbooks online. The work flow is logical.
It was week on CRM functions like phone and email integration. The mobile app never worked for us but to be fair our account may have outgrown the design. There was no ability to group several jobs in to a project. This hurts when trying to find sale conversion rates because we often wrote several optional estimate to win 1 project. Not having enough features to take my business for 20 to 50 employees. I would still be using it if they had developed a few more features or integrated tightly with a office CRM. Kickservs has a really nice integration with QBO at the invoices level but none at the prospect or estimate level. If KS's contacts and estimates would of synced and mirrored QBO I Would of found a CRM to layer over KS to get the features I needed.

-Easy way to download and calculate jobs for accounting. -Great way to have clear access for everyone in the company to the CRM via the app. The detailed and yet simple organizational process with Kickserv has added tremendous value to us.

I probably recommend Sidekick to someone once a week. I've shopped and used other solutions and Sidekick blows them away in performance, features, price, support - across the board. I even recommend it to people who don't need to track resources because it's so flexible, you can use it as a CRM. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars.
Super easy to understand and get set up. We were up and running in only 1 day. There's very little training that new users need to use SK. Extremely flexible - I've been able to easily customize the product to show the things we like to see and to run the way we want it. Reports - the capabilities of the reports are amazing. You can build just about any report you can imagine. Price - I get excellent...
Old data - can be hard to get rid of. I'd like to see a feature where if a user inactivates a custom field, all data in that field on job and customer records can be erased. Text fields - have a limited number of characters so your jobs and client info have to be concise. You can't write a book for a job order. Some features don't quite work the way you would expect (timecards) - they don't actually integrate to QB, so it's kind of a teaser and we spent a fair amount of time trying to use the time tracker only to have to go to another solution.

We were 98% about to sign up with Kickserv as our CRM and work flow system, but their software does not allow functionality for Canadian taxes (GST and PST). I contacted Kickserv about this, but they were not able to offer that functionality at the time, nor offer a suitable work-around, so we had to go with another provider, which is actually based in Canada.

- As a CRM software, we are able to manage all of our customers, scheduling, invoicing and reporting (not as bookkeeping or Financial Statements) in a generally good way. - The inter-connectionedness of the various parts of the software makes it easy to navigate from one function to another. - Although there has been some down time (which can be very difficult because we cannot function), but over...
- Support is sometimes tedious. - New features added (if we find out about them at all) can be very disruptive to our processes, and confusing. While some of them make sense in a wider world, they sometimes are baffling and frustrating in our business. - We have 2 locations (and hope to have many more) and need to have separate systems. Easy to learn at first. Sends reminder emails to clients for jobs...
The calendar is buggy. Will repopulate canceled posts on its own. Has a reoccurring scheduling feature that sometime works sometimes doesn’t. Drop clients for no reason. Been working with kickserve for two years and still no solution to these scheduling errors. They cost me money, frustrate clients, and force me to be ever vigilant so that I have to triple check bugs and scheduling. The only reason I am still with these guys is because it’s too time consuming to switch crms.... this is a horrible Crm for a mid sized or small and growing company... walk away

Nothing but praise for everything and everyone we ever interacted with. 14 years of happiness!
We like the Resources Calendar week at a glance the most. Easy to see where every tech is scheduled, how long each job should take, and color coded by type of job, which we set up. This program is very intuitive to use, with large screens and no tiny fields that fill up a screen that you don’t need or care about using. We’ve been forced to use other big name programs by our franchise, which no one we talked to liked at all, but we always kept Kickserv throughout as our main go to. It’s iPhone easy to use! Skip the CRM that advertised during the Super Bowl. We and everyone we know hated it.
The only thing that was a problem was when it stopped syncing to desktop QuickBooks 2009. We didn’t upgrade QB, and had to manually enter sold jobs. It was worth it to us to not have to buy another QB program
