Let's us keep all customer data in one place. Syncs with our bookkeeping program. Internet based lets us work from anywhere. Good value for the $$$.

Pros
Reasonable pricing. Good set of features. Great customer service. We've used this program for at least 10 years.

Cons
It's looking better, but still a bit "clunky". Not very intuitive if you're new to the system. Screen views are stretched out and take up a lot of room. You have to scroll a lot to find things. It could be more compact and easier to maneuver. The Android version is the same way - multiple screens to find things. You have to learn all the workarounds to be productive.

Pros
The price for this product is outstanding! For a similar product, you typically will pay 5x the price.

Cons
There are limiting aspects to this software with remote chances of changing according to customer service (due to the base coding). Reoccurring event/visits struggle when you wish to bill throughout various "job". One job = one bill in Kickserv, rather than having multiple billing periods for various reoccurring event/visits during the one job.

Ease of use and a great price

Pros
I love the intuitive layout and design of Kickserv. It's very easy to navigate, and extremely easy to train new users on.

Cons
It lacks some basic functionality you'll find with other SaaS Field Service software out there. The API is not reliable or robust for anything more than very simple queries. No webhooks. Very limited notification capabilities. No good dashboard.

It is a solid choice for the price. It makes keeping track of all our jobs possible and is a great step up from paper or spreadsheets. I feel it is priced fairly.

Pros
Capturing all the jobs we have on the go, being able to catergorize them by type, and by status (unscheduled, scheduled, in progress, on hold, completed) really helps on the backend to keep invoices moving out.

Cons
Individual asset/equipment history would definitely be useful.

Pros
I like how easy is to use, the dashboard is very intuitive.

Cons
The pricing is very high​, and the credit card fees for stripe does​ not reflect the real stripe pricing ( like amex stripe charge the same as other cards, kichserv 4.2%)

I have been using Kickserv for about 6 mos. It has been a very good experience from ease of use, customer service and most importantly the price is affordable. I have used another company and by far this is the best program. Not to mention the trial period to decide if was right for my company before I invested into the service.

The is of navigating the system is my favorite part. The ease of navigating the system is my favorite part. QuickBooks integration is seamless. The ease of program and the bonus low-cost is amazing

Pros: Easy to implement, enables low overhead/admin costs, customers love it, easy estimating, quick invoicing and payments, great support, cloud based (no IT infrastructure to maintain), scalable, integrated credit card payment system, employee buy in, dashboard, job history, employee timecards, great value, minimal unbillable hours or missed billings. Cons: No integration to Quickbooks online (yet), scheduling module can be tricky, slight software glitches once in a while, would be great if it had a job costing module.

Easy to use. Price. Very modern looking. Customer service. Can set up jobs daily, weekly, monthly etc.

Cons
On the app you can't scrow down after 1-2pm jobs. Sometimes you delete one job and somehow it will delete your entire job history.

Information on customers and jobs that my accounting software doesn't have fields for.

Pros
Its versatility. It does a lot of features and the cost is very affordable. It has become usable with a tablet in the field which we hope to use, once we get all of these kinks worked out from upgrading.

Cons
I have enjoyed the app, but support , in my opinion is not timely. The flow is very difficult. Needs a contact block for when a business is the customer.

It has helped me keep track of customers but painfully so. The only reason I have not switched is because I do not have the time to learn a new program. If all of my complaints are resolved before I have the time to implement a new program I will stay; however, service has yet to make me someone who will recommend people or be loyal to this program.

Pros
I like the price point, I like that there is relatively little down time. And I like some of the features the software has

Cons
There are several complaints that I have had from day one. First the reporting is terrible, building a report is often a trial and error endeavor. Even after successfully building a report there are time that it just breaks. Seeing the "Ah, Nuts we'll ninja the heck out of that error" leaves me with nightmares. There are simple reports that should come standard that every business should use. Other than the reports, I find that the software was built to fit many businesses which make sense; however, it makes it harder for my specific business to work with a higher functionality. I cant attach cars to work orders instead I have to print it out and highlight it for my guys. There are other issues like this.

Got through the demo with the customer service team and loved it but didn't see it fitting our company needs.

Pros
It includes everything you need, from A-Z. The customer support was amazing and it is highly customizable.

Cons
The pricing structure sucks for very small businesses, but is ok for larger companies. Invoicing is a bit basic.

Sidekick Rocks

I probably recommend Sidekick to someone once a week. I've shopped and used other solutions and Sidekick blows them away in performance, features, price, support - across the board. I even recommend it to people who don't need to track resources because it's so flexible, you can use it as a CRM. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars.

Pros
Super easy to understand and get set up. We were up and running in only 1 day. There's very little training that new users need to use SK. Extremely flexible - I've been able to easily customize the product to show the things we like to see and to run the way we want it. Reports - the capabilities of the reports are amazing. You can build just about any report you can imagine. Price - I get excellent value for the price I pay. Other solutions are thousands and thousands of dollars with little to no support. But SK has flexible pricing so you pay for who you're scheduling. Support - the support is terrific. You almost always get a live person if you have to call. The help database is a good place to look before calling. Suggestions - Sidekick is way ahead of the curve when it comes to allowing, considering and implementing customer feedback. I've been very impressed with the ability to provide a suggestion and that I've seen many implemented.

Cons
Old data - can be hard to get rid of. I'd like to see a feature where if a user inactivates a custom field, all data in that field on job and customer records can be erased. Text fields - have a limited number of characters so your jobs and client info have to be concise. You can't write a book for a job order. Some features don't quite work the way you would expect (timecards) - they don't actually integrate to QB, so it's kind of a teaser and we spent a fair amount of time trying to use the time tracker only to have to go to another solution.

I have to commend Kickserv on outstanding customer service. I only went through the trial testing but any question or need and they are right on it. I think this software is really great and priced right.... maybe a little on the low side for all of the features that are included. We have a particularly unusual outsourcing needed that just doesn't quite fit or I would be using Kickserv daily to run my field service business. I haven't given up and know in the near future the few little features we need will be there and I will be back.

Overall good experience as a desktop and in field user.

Pros
Ease of use for invoices as a template, all invoices look the same for every client. Easy to adjust line items and pricing as needed. Taking pictures within the app has been a great addition.

Cons
App is glitchy and doesn't display charges in correct order. If taking a picture with the app, it doesn't save to the phone. Meaning, if signal is lost and the picture doesn't upload the picture is lost. This has led to us making a trip back to re-take a picture that didn't load or save.

What I like most about the software is that it helps the company stay on the same page of what needs to be done. Being part of a lawn care company, there are vehicles and people all over the city and it helps to stay organized and be able to know what another person is doing. It really helps the secretaries also be able to schedule and keep everything organized and be able to add special notes to jobs so technicians know what exactly needs to be done if the customer isn't present at the job site.

Cons
Sometimes the product and the different features can be confusing to manipulate. Such as pricing features. It's something that is somewhat difficult to do but all in all the product is nice to use and pretty reliable.

Easy to use but but powerful. Covers all areas of our business operations. We were using spreadsheets and separate processes but Kickserv puts all these into one for an affordable cost. Saving us loads of time and money. I would definitely recommend this to any business looking to automate most part of their operations. We are a removals business based in the United Kingdom and Kickserv work just fine for us. Thanks to Josh Anderson who guided us through signing up and implementation without a rush or pushy sales tactics.

I own an Appliance Repair Business in the Sacramento Area, and we use this software for scheduling out our service calls and having the technicians manage the jobs out in the field. All i have to say is this software is awesome. We have gone through 3 other software providers in the past 5 years and just none of it compares to Kickserv. They have so many options as well as a client portal which has great features! Their tech support is on top of things and help you get your problems solved fast! Thank you!

Great features, awesome customer service, great price point, customer portal, great user interface, easy to use and understand, Quickbooks integrates seamlessly, live signature capture, also you can email an estimate over and the customer/client can view the estimate and sign online. (great feature for a mobile business or a business who has customers who would like to think on repairing or purchasing new)

Cons
Mobile app could use some work for iPhone & Android, but their mobile WEB interface is awesome and has so many great features.
