Pros

Sound public API, brilliant support and ability to build custom dedicated interface are the key points of the success.
We are still at the implementation stage of using Loc8 but I can see the benefit this software will have for our company. Loc8 is a great tool for equipment tracking and asset management.
I actually love that the customer can accept or deny my estimate sent to them by email. I also like that it turns your accepted estimates into jobs.

Pros

Customer service is extremely helpful and honest if they need to send you to a higher level support member. Quickbooks integration was super easy with the help from the trial rep (Haley).
I have been not only impressed with the ease of implementation but also the adaptability for my employees to gain the trust they need in working the app.
I love the way I can immediately see when and where they clocked in and out. I love the advanced app that allows us to send information to our employees for scheduling.

Cons

The inability to see certain fields that were available on V3 and inability to change status to anything without having to change twice.
Deceptive costs... and i wasted 20 hours entering data.
So far, there is nothing that we can say negative about the software. We use it for simply managing our technician's schedule.

Cons

The major disadvantage is that the GPS is not accurate as per our need, it takes time to get the exact location, also there are situations where we got wrong GPS location.
Staff inadvertently selects the wrong one which causes downstream work for Admin personnel. We've chosen not to utilize the "Mobile" function as all of our hourly employees must report to the plant.
The only feature i fell is missing the option to print notes on the timesheet report. Without this option i am forced to print out multiple reports.
