With us being a bit of an oddball in the industry having multiple locations and only one maintenance department it is sometimes difficult to keep track of all work orders as an end user as the techs dont have the access to the "all site" function like admins do. Also a bit of a learning curve but once you get used to it its good.

No offline feature available as of yet. We use this system on our marine vessels and internet service isn't always available in some areas.

We use only a small portion of the software's capabilities. Does an excellent job for the cost.
Excellent for asset management and scheduling tasks.
Inconsistent printing between browsers. If i use Firefox or IE to access the web portal and print off work orders the text is misaligned.

What I like the best is the ability to store files. Under each asset you are able to store documents pertaining to that asset.
This is a very smart software. I don't really have a con about it. I like to use it and it easy to use.

In general, as someone who is exploring the features, I feel this software has great potential in our operation.
The software is somewhat user-friendly however there are many "hidden features" yet for me to find. It is difficult for the end-users, maintenance workers, to use the system and they end up printing the work orders.
If the functionality of the mobile app was improved, this would be a great asset.

fiix has helped us get a better handle on our SMs and overall tracking of our equipment
asset movement easy to use work orders and SMs super helpfull
there are some small bugs in the system like on the work order page if you click one and go back it goes back to the top of the screen

I am able to eliminate the need to store data and reports on our internal network. Everyone can go to the site and see all the work that's been performed on an asset.
I like the amount of Historical Data it stores. Amount of data I can enter for a part, asset, location. I like how it links everything to an asset, work orders, PMs, spare parts, BOMs.
I can't use a barcode scanner at a desktop computer to locate a spare part. I need to use a phone or tablet. It takes a lot of effort to train and educate employees on how to use it religiously. Spare part counts are always off. Comments on work reports are lacking/missing. Report writing is difficult; this should be set up more like creating a filter. I wish I could get technical support without the Fiix team always trying to sell me something. I want more people to use it, but buying licenses for each is expensive for the little amount of time each would use it.

Thrilled with Fiix. It has transformed our timeliness and tracking of work requests for the production floor. Our up time has improved and the reports and graphs that can be generated really detail out the application of Fiix for our plant. Great Product!!
Fiix software has a been a game changer for our manufacturing location. Its ease of use and implementation allowed us to get up to speed quickly and get our production team on board within just a few short weeks. The QR code scan to enter work orders makes it so easy for anyone to submit requests for all kinds of reasons from safety to breakdowns.
Would like to be able to include more than one picture with the work request after using the QR code to generate the work request. Also, would like to see a fast way to generate an asset list from the asset inventory.

Overall a great software for asset management and maintenance.
The software is easy to use. Anyone can pick it up within a couple of hours. It pretty much have been set up out of the box type of software. It is very detailed and organized. Works on desktop and mobile. Great customer service.
Not really a bad thing but there were so many features and tools available. It could be a bit overwhelming at first.

it is still and will be the only comfortable software or application to maintain assets in our tiny company
Mobile application and asset tracking are the most valuable feature in Fiix, this help me track and tag any IT assets on our company. basically, tracking asset is so easy only by scanning the barcode or QRcode
the asset recording is pretty hard to do, I am only a free trial user so maybe that is the reason i have such struggle. importing/exporting assets list from csv or any other data based file will be great. also sometimes the barcode or QRcode did not worked properly when scanned by Fiix mobile app

Asset tracking was the biggest advantage to me using Fiix.
Fiix seems to be a great tool for asset tracking, repair and maintenance tracking. It gives you reminders for services that have a schedule. I liked the program, but,,,,,, read below in the cons!
I started out like wild fire when we were given Fiix to use. As a 2 man operation, I felt this would be a great tracking tool for our scout camp. Needless to say Fiix is VERY time consuming for entering in all your assets and information. At the end of the first year I pushed for a second year to try to make it work. Our administrative staff wanted every work order entered to track our jobs and repairs....

Overall, my experience has been very good. Customer service is quite good and they really do work to make the customer happy.
The product is cloud based and includes a mobile app which is extra on many systems. Fiix is feature rich and easy to learn. Coming from an EAM background, I found Fiix includes most of the features customers actually use in a full-blown EAM system. Fiix has very good reporting features.
Importing is easy but once assets are imported, they are difficult to edit in batch mode. For example, both the asset code and asset name are unique fields. If you need to rename a lot of assets, the import feature will not work because it sees the new name as a new asset and wants to create new assets rather than update existing assets. It would be more useful if the asset code were the only unique field so batch updates could be done with the import feature. The Professional Plan limits asset list downloads to 300 pages which amounts to less than 1500 assets. This is not adequate for any of the systems I've implemented over the years. You must upgrade to the Enterprise Plan to remove this limit.

I generally love the platform and its capacity/depth for our assets. This will likely be moved over into our other departments (Machinery, Construction) as I finish developing and implementing this for our HVAC PM department.
I love the cross-integration between my field technicians, accounting, and warehousing. My equipment has all of the attached parts information that relates back to my warehouse as we consume materials and notifies my accounting and warehousing teams when we're below our required threshold. This is incredible software, it's able to keep all of our invoicing together and associate it with a track record of each part's purchasing history and cost over time. Very excited to use this to its fullest.
There are some things that would be nice for the initialization phase of creating all of the assets, namely that "save and create another" asset should carry over much of the prior item's data. For those of us without a csv to upload into Fiix, it seems easiest to go through each plant by asset type, so much of the data stays the same from asset to asset, until that type is finished. Often times, I ended up going back through to double check my new assets before moving on to creating the next new type of asset (i.e. AHU to RTU to MAU, etc. ). Also, it would be nice to have a standard daily report that can include a technician's work from the day, including the actual photos uploaded by them, and have it sent to a set list of email addresses.

Tracking and reporting on work requests. Asset tracking and preventative maintenance scheduling.
The import utility for this software will get you to a fully functioning facility management system to take work requests and track assets. Very easy to use and lots of valuable data on the completed work done by your department. The preloaded reporting is great. We have been extremely happy with this software.
The custom report writer will take some time to learn if you're not familiar with it. Being able to attach a file to a guest submitted report would be nice.

Billing and subscription service has been easy to navigate. If an issue cannot be resolved quickly , Fiix has been helpful to find a work-around. In general, Fiix is slow to respond to customer service requests and feature additions.
Work orders are easy to generate and scheduled maintenance setup is straightforward. Nested PMs and event triggers are great for "if-then" scenarios where more work is required based on the results of a regular PM. Reports are customizable with the upper-tier account. Inventory management is quick and easy when the system is used on a tablet or smart device. The mobile app is easy to set up and use. Permissions for highly customizable for user groups.
Asset codes and model number are not visible on the asset list; The user has to view the asset to see the information. Only a Grainger account can be linked for inventory lookup. Most inventory cannot be populated automatically by part number. However, in Fiix's defense, it may be difficult to get permission from vendors. The report writer uses SQL code, but all of the SQL functions are not available in the interface. WO review and approval from technician to engineer to management is not automated.

Fiix is a fairly good cmms system the setup and instruction was very good, getting my engineers on board is a little harder.
importing our asset list in from excel was a great help once you understand how to do it
not being able to import our stores in from excel. typing everything in one line at a time is taking forever.

It is a lot to learn. The visual lessons are very helpful. Over all it is a good program.
I like the way parts are ordered against a w/o and they are automatically assigned to that asset.
I cannot write pm's in the system without assigning them to a specific person. I would rather be able to have the pm's assigned to a group instead of one person. That way I am not overloading one person.

We use it for our asset management and maintenance. We are happy with the tool.
Import maintenance data via mobile devices. This feature is life saver at times. Schedule maintenance with specific events are alarms. Best video tutorials to learn the tool quickly.
At times I did encounter some formatting issues. But that is not a big issue to report. The tools works like a charm

Gives me better control over my outstanding work order and back logs.
Ease of use with assigning assets and work orders, building asset hierarchy and plants, integration between PC and mobile device.
Report builder and graphing. No ability to have a physical sign off of work completion on the mobile device.
