Medfiles.OHS is a modular, cloud-based occupational health and safety management software which offers comprehensive data management for businesses of all sizes. The system can be used to automatically identify which incidents are recordable by OSHA standards, manage Workers’ Comp cases, track internal and external training, manage medical surveillance and drug screening programs, and more.

The safety management module can be used to document meetings, observations, job assessments, and other safety activities. Dynamic forms enable the gathering of information and guide routine safety checks with safety-based questions. The FMLA module tracks all FMLA case-related activities and documents incidents at case level, allowing users to track spent and remaining time off and review incidents. Medfiles’ OSHA module tracks work-related incidents and automatically determines which incidents are recordable by OSHA’s standards by comparing injury types and treatments with OSHA criteria. Restricted and lost days are tracked, enabling benchmarking of performance against previous years.

The Workers’ Comp Case Management module tracks all employees on restricted or lost time, and action plans, treatment plans, open and closed cases, case milestones, medical appointments, indemnity costs, and medical expense reserves. Documentation, including doctors notes and emails, can be added to case notes, and summaries of all case incidents can be generated instantly. Training can be recorded in the Training module, whether internal or external, and personnel certifications and demographics can also be tracked. The Reporting module can create reports from information in any other module, such as individual activity, supervision, trending, schedules, training, safety, and more. Users can create a variety of report types, including OSHA 300, 300-A, and 301 incident reports, incident summaries, and First Reports of Injury by state.
