Pros

The best part of the software is that you You can download data for any period that you desire. It provides with a very user-friendly dashboard and the ease of accounting is also there.
It's ability to allow the user to customise the report by adding data field(s) which is great as we do not always need to go behind IT Professional asking for help.
The ability to customize just about anything your organization wants is rewarding. And if you are willing to spend, you can have your system fit your business processes like a glove.

My advice for those scoping out Netsuite is seriously analyze your business requirements and then advocate the hell for them in the scoping or implementation phases.
Please do your research before you find yourself stuck in a contract with a bunch of misleading employees that won't even respond to your email or try to address your concerns.
I hate the reporting functionality, avoid it if I can. Might be that I don't really understand its uses.

We have been using NetSuite for a long time now. Software is very easy to use and very robust. It is easy for daily using and training. The system keep updating adding more features. It is a good choice for most companies.

Pros

NetSuite is easy to use, easy to extract data from, easy to search, and cloud based so you can use it anywhere from any computer.

Cons

The only cons I've run into are the ability to subdivide some of the GL accounts (when integrating into Adaptive Planning).

They will lie and they will deceive you and misdirect you. Perhaps of the most amateurish group I have each worked with.

Pros

It allows me to communicate with the client in an optimal way

Cons

We additionally had some problematic client assistance with our underlying rep at a certain point (concerning planning/dropping arrangements on us).

Cons

We ended up going away from Netsuite because the application wasn't strong enough to support our manufacturing planning and processing. Unfortunate because they were our front runner.

Most Welcome Change

We are planning on using the free resources available to us and we realize it would take looong hours, but as I've said I think it's going to be worth the while.

Pros

It is a very big plus that Netsuite can make this available to non-profits as a donation to the organization. It may take some time to finally get it going but I think it's worth it. It will definitely tie some loose ends, organize our system better and allow us to streamline and fine tune our operations. Netsuite is also very generous in conducting trainings for beginner-users of the software.

Cons

It's not "out of the box", as there are parts that only experts can do in order to guarantee that everything is in place. When I ask for a quotation for consultancy and implementation, one company said it will be chargeable. Just not possible for us to shell out that money.

Pros

Getting started is immediate, simple and easy. Several products and services are available such as ERP, CRM. I particularlylike the SCM (supplychain management software). -Daily reports -Planning and order management -Inventory and accounting -Reduction of delays and costs -Alert settings

Cons

The demo version allows you to familiarize yourself with the many services and features available on the site. This considerably reduces the time needed to get started. Nothing to report concerning its use.

Use NetSuite as ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) tool

Good so far for the price that we are paying. Easy to generate sales quote and track the history.

Pros

Expense reporting, production planning, Inside sales management are some of the features that I like most about this tool. I have touched these features but there are a lot of people in my company who work with a lot more features of NetSuite.

Cons

Integration with Travel websites such as Expedia or SAP Concur is not available. This integration would help us keep track of expenses across various websites.

Best tool for sales planning, forecasting, quote creation, and inventory management

My experience with NetSuite has been very positive. Having access to so much information under one software suite saves time, frustration, and potential for errors compared to using different software for each task.

Pros

I like how much you can do under one piece of software. Instead of using 3/4 different tools and trying to manage them all together for ERP, Sales planning, accounting, etc. you can just have a single tool that does it all.

Cons

Anytime a software is as powerful a tool as Netsuite is there is going to be a steep learning curve. Once you know how to do all the functions you need to its great but teaching a new employee is a long process. Especially with there being many routes to the same information.

The best multi-functional and customizable ERP system in the cloud

Our use of NetSuite has eliminated the need for a lot of maintenance and support for our systems, as it is available in the cloud, and connects all enterprise networks to it, which helps us to constantly work remotely under all circumstances. Through NetSuite, we have been able to build an integrated system that includes all our data, which helps us to evaluate resources and know the efficiency of operations, as the automation that we obtained through NetSuite contributed to enhancing our ability to make the right decisions.

Pros

My favorite feature of NetSuite is its capacity to report on a wide range of enterprise processes and operations, as well as its ability to be scalable. When it comes to working with NetSuite, team members will find the user interface simple and easy to understand. With NetSuite, we are able to save data and transactions quickly and easily, and it is also very adaptable and scalable to meet our needs....

Cons

NetSuite is one of the best resource planning tools ever, but like the rest of the Oracle tools, the user needs several training sessions to be able to use it in an optimal way, in addition to that, the subscription prices are high, which limits the ability of small groups to benefit from its services.

NetSuite was a big leap forward for us.

Once you get comfortable with the navigation and understand the workflows, it's easy to use. I'll give credit to NetSuite/Oracle for the help forum. Needed to add some functionality to the purchasing process (tracking whether POs have been acknowledged by the vendor, so I can follow up if not). Had a vague idea how to do it, but posted on the forum. One day later a NetSuite guru had posted a step-by-step process that 100% nailed it.

Pros

It's a web-based ERP, so it does basically anything you ask it to (or are will to pay for it to do). Once you get the hang of it, it's an awesome tool for ordering, receiving, production planning, accounting, etc. Customizable dashboard puts the right info in front of me.

Cons

1. It's web-based, but it's slowwwwwwww. Far and away the slowest software I use on my desktop (Mac). Sign in on the iPad Pro? It'll add an hour to my day waiting for page loads. 2. Everything costs extra. We currently pay for a third-party software to connect our Shopify store to NetSuite. Heard there was now a native NetSuite-Shopify connection. Tried to connect - turns out, you've got to pay for that too. Don't get me wrong - it's powerful stuff, but anything that's not part of the basic package is going to cost you. Negotiate!

NetSuite is easy to use and intuitive. Compared to other accounting software. I used to use SAP and to be efficient you had to memorize countless t-codes and go through dozens of awkward screens. You can become semi-efficient in NetSuite in a matter of days or even hours. It is cloud based and fully integrates with other important business software like Adaptive Planning.

Pros

NetSuite has an eCommerce option that will track visitor information on your company's website and automatically import the data into the CRM software. NetSuite CRM is very user friendly. The program is clean and easy to navigate.

Cons

It doesn't have live chat support, nor does it have a social CRM application.

NetSuite Financials includes applications for financial accounting, financial reporting and analytics, payment management, order and billing management, supply chain management and inventory management. Financial information through NetSuite can be accessed through a web browser or mobile device. The system undergoes automatic upgrades and comes with various customization options. NetSuite is cloud-based and runs on a range of internet browsers.

Cons

Does not supports data export into xls files. CSV files are limited to only one worksheet for export, not multiple worksheets as xls files

Pros

I like that netsuite offers covers to every aspect of your business. It handles accounting functions, inventory, planning, manufacturing, and so many more. It really is all encompassing and you don't need anything else to run your business. I like that it has some creative features like the ability to screenshot quickly and send a message to other co-workers to refer to something specific. The capabilities for reports and insights into your business is also a major plus. Overall, with some training and common sense it can be easy to use and train others on.

Cons

The interface is not very user friendly, and doesn't feel modern. There are very few shortcuts that make the platform efficient and you have to do a lot of basic data entry/repetitive clicks when there could be an easier way to streamline processes like receiving large po's with hundreds of lines.

Ensure that project resource planning is completed according to required needs

let's NetSuite saved us a lot of time and procedures, and the reports it provides us are reliable results, allowing us to own the truth about the actual state of the project. Using NetSuite as our ERP allowed us to automate many procedures and save time and money.

Pros

In order to ensure that everyday chores and project resource planning are completed to the required standards, we use NetSuite. In addition to being easy to use and customizable, it allows teams to work together more effectively and efficiently. It's great that it's compatible with so many of our other products and makes it simple to import and export data. Using NetSuite's sorting and filtering features, you can quickly locate the data you require, regardless of its size or complexity. In order to keep track of our orders and invoices, we use this sturdy system that can be handled remotely according to our requirements.

Cons

Nothing about NetSuite is difficult or frustrating to use. It only requires a small amount of practice.

Jack of All Trades - Master of None !

We have been using Netsuite since 2006, the implementation (by Netsuite) was a shambles and cost several thousands (£) to get put right. Netsuite's CRM is woeful, we had better CRM in 2006 using Goldmine. I think Netsuite is summed up by the additional software / SAAS we use in place of the Netsuite offering: Sugar CRM for CRM Sugar Market for Email Marketing Big Commerce for Website Waer Systems for WMS Netstock for Sales Forecasting / Demand Planning Netsuite claims to be able to do all of the above, it may do, but to such a poor level, it's not a viable option

Pros

I struggle to think of any Pros, Netsuite is not a very Customer focused company and things have got worse since it was acquired by Oracle

Cons

It's expensive for what you get And when you realise that a lot of what you are paying for is really very poor and that you have to buy additional software/SAAS to make up for it's shortcomings, it is even more expensive The annual renewal with Netsuite is an unpleasant and unnecessary fight every year In June 2020, mid Covid and it's impact on business around the world, Netsuite is trying to increase it's prices by 8% !!! For what ? It still has the same old clunky "out of date" UI, very limited change is made in their annual updates - it remains very dated and Netsuite never address the key lack of functionality. Quite how Netsuite can claim to be a solution is beyond me !
