Pros

The best part of the software is that you You can download data for any period that you desire. It provides with a very user-friendly dashboard and the ease of accounting is also there.
It's ability to allow the user to customise the report by adding data field(s) which is great as we do not always need to go behind IT Professional asking for help.
The ability to customize just about anything your organization wants is rewarding. And if you are willing to spend, you can have your system fit your business processes like a glove.

Pros

Very easy to use, logically designed and very intuitive to pick up. Amazing, extremely helpful customer service - issues are dealt with immediately and resolved well.
Ve been very happy with the software and the customer service has been excellent. Immediate replies to emails and easy walk through instructions when running into any questions.
I initially heard of bean bills at my previous work. After working with it I found it to be very user friendly and the desire of the Bean Bills team to constantly improve their product amazing.

Cons

My advice for those scoping out Netsuite is seriously analyze your business requirements and then advocate the hell for them in the scoping or implementation phases.
Please do your research before you find yourself stuck in a contract with a bunch of misleading employees that won't even respond to your email or try to address your concerns.
I hate the reporting functionality, avoid it if I can. Might be that I don't really understand its uses.

Cons

Also, sync errors are difficult to find and no alerts for such as given.
Smartsync sometimes there's error in syncing to Sage 300.
AP used to be a problem child, now its a superstar.

Pros

How flexible it is, and the ability to add additional fields and screens. It is great the amount of information on the web and help pages.

Cons

Its ability to automate many of the processes that were previously manual, such as the processing and payment of supplier invoices. This has significantly reduced the time and effort required to manage accounts payable for my business.

Pros

This tool has allowed me to automate many previously manual processes, such as vendor invoice processing and payment, which has significantly reduced the time and effort required to manage accounts payable for my company.

Cons

Sometimes I feel like the interface can be a bit overwhelming, especially when I'm trying to find a specific feature. I wish there was an easier way to navigate the different sections and features of the platform.

Pros

This is our initial software (since 1998) - I am in sales and account management - I do not use the reporting - I have to research billing, invoicing and accounts payable - too many keyboard clicks to get to correct field

Cons

too many keyboard clicks to get to correct field, much of the infommation is not downloaded from salesforce to netsuite, inconsistant billing, payment arrangements will not pick up all accounts, reporting for commission will not pick up transaction from the "Parent Account" So time consuming to review commissions - typically I will have 35 accounts per month that were not picked up by netsuite

Netsuite has proven to be a comprehensive and reliable solution for business accounting.

Pros

I like the wide range of capabilities it offers, ranging from accounts payable and receivable management to bank reconciliation and financial reporting. This allows me to have a complete view of the company's financial situation and make informed strategic decisions.

Cons

I would like Netsuite to have greater flexibility in terms of report customization and adaptability to my company's specific needs.

No sure I'm loving this program

More headache than solving anything.

Pros

Easily get reports, graphs, data at your finger tips. Track invoices, makes payable/receivables a breeze.

Cons

The support staff dont seem like they know how to use the program or that they weren't trained to do more than answer phones. Many times when calling in with questions, your placed on hold to ask a manager or supervisor. Very little help to solve the problems. I would wait till better versions are made before buying this product.

It can be complicated for first time users. Requires training

NetSuite was used across our entire organization for financials, inventory, order processing, manufacturing, CRM and our e-commerce site. I liked having everything integrated and the real time reporting.

Pros

Automation on the financial side. Billing automation. This is a cloud based solution. Highly configurable.

Cons

The NetSuite in-house support team is weak

Pros

Ease of use, interface is so user friendly that even a person with non accounting background can easily use it.Other valuable option was customization of reports at user level e.g. GL entries, adding removing columns etc. Same goes with data range of A/R and A/P aging.

Cons

I did not find it very useful with financial reporting and automation.

Netsuite Users Since 2006

Too many to list. We've built our business around Netsuite and use if for just about everything including but not limited to: Accounting, sales automation, marketing automation, inventory management, warehousing and fulfillment, the list goes on.

Pros

There's no substitute for a cloud based fully integrated system like Netsuite. We went live January 1, 2006 and have been building our company around Netsuite ever since.

Cons

I can't answer this questions because there's nothing I really dislike about Netsuite. The company and the product have been exceptional.

Needs improvement or enhancement to fit the business users

Pros

Accounts maintained for inventory was understandable if it is integrated correctly.

Cons

Product set-up, pricing, cannot be maintained per SKU Level that resulted to an integration of data from JDA.

I liked Netsuite much better than other programs I have worked with while performing accounts receivable duties.

Pros

I work in accounts receivable, I liked that I could edit invoices as needed. I also liked that I could type in an invoice number and take a payment at the invoice.

Cons

I did not like that if you did not make sure you chose a payment type for credit cards, that it would not capture the payment. You would get a confirmation, but the card was not actually charged.

Pros

Centralization of Data and Resources Ability to scale as business grows Customization and Automation ease

Cons

Report and dashboard building could be more intuitive for the common user. Viewing of data is often cumbersome - some users have trouble viewing large searches, for example no ability freeze columns

Awesome ERP system

I love working with Netsuite Man. It really makes my work easy and less stressful. Give it a try and thank me later.

Pros

Netsuite commonly known as Oracle is an ERP System I can recommend to any organization. This application gives me the opportunity to easily consolidate reports from more than 80 different organizations into a single report. When compared to other ERP systems I've used, Netsuite is a perfect tool for any organization wishing to report its activities with ease.

Cons

I could Netsuite is a bit complex especially when it comes to setting up the chat of accounts. Though the suite keys help in reducing that, it will be better if the chat of accounts is looked into.

Better Options Out There

We only lasted about a year and ended up going back to our old billing system which was very difficult.

Pros

I liked the idea of having all the components of the billing automation in one place using one tool

Cons

User Interface seems out of date. Not able to upload files. There seems to be an added step for each process by having to constantly "save" and was hard to search for items I had previously saved as I wasn't sure where they were stored. Must use strict naming convention

My overall experience has been good, I like it better than Quickbooks Online.

Pros

I like Netsuite the most because the ease of using it daily, works great with Medius our AP automation.

Cons

My least favorite would be the imports from Concur Expense and JE's

Oracle NetSuite for Finance Team

Pros

I would like to dive straight into the pros as given below: 1- It does allow us to automate almost everything in Netsuite using Scripts and workflow. 2- Easy to set up custom fields based on your tracking requirements. 3- Tax reporting is a lot easier now and if you are in Australia now you can ANZ localization for PTRS reporting. 4- Integrate with most of the systems you for most of the accounting function such as Accounts payable, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank Recs, Bank payment files, Sales and purchase orders and tax authorities. We have moved from another software which is used for small companies but since we have moved to Netsuite we are loving it and will keep on using it now.

Cons

I don't think there is anything I don't like about Netsuite as it is very user-friendly and does allow you to integrate with almost everything.

Monthly statements & reports are easy to generate. It has been a struggle to convert from Oracle to NetSuite but, the automation will help.

Pros

It’s highly flexible, much better than Oracle.

Cons

It can be a bit clunky to navigate and difficult to navigate.
