Pros

The best part of the software is that you You can download data for any period that you desire. It provides with a very user-friendly dashboard and the ease of accounting is also there.
It's ability to allow the user to customise the report by adding data field(s) which is great as we do not always need to go behind IT Professional asking for help.
The ability to customize just about anything your organization wants is rewarding. And if you are willing to spend, you can have your system fit your business processes like a glove.

My advice for those scoping out Netsuite is seriously analyze your business requirements and then advocate the hell for them in the scoping or implementation phases.
Please do your research before you find yourself stuck in a contract with a bunch of misleading employees that won't even respond to your email or try to address your concerns.
I hate the reporting functionality, avoid it if I can. Might be that I don't really understand its uses.

Netsuite is a great out-of-the-box ERP. The base ERP package offers everything you need to get an average business running -- in the cloud. The implementation can be very quick and straightforward or a real nightmare. The system is not intuitive to understand, but it is not overly complex. Customizations (even simple ones) require more effort than they ought to take. My advice for those scoping out...

Cons

Implementation can be a nightmare depending on who you get and how proactive you are in advocating for your needs. Lots of customization options, but you will need a good hire or a big wallet for the Netsuite Solutions Consultants. Not simple for your average non-tech user to understand all of the system functions UI is not pretty Support is lacking -- better of troubleshooting on your own unless you want to shell out (a lot of) money for the mostly useless support/consultants.

NetSuite is good ERP system for small scale industries and those who don't want to spend alot on infrastructure and use Oracle Cloud.

Pros

Its an world class ERP system available on cloud and that is on Oracle cloud. All the departments are well integrated module wise.

Cons

Its cost and then limited(minimum package) features are still not helping enough so have to go for the higher versions.

Overall I enjoy using NetSuite at my company. It took a very long time to fully implement and fine tune, but once it's up and running it is a great tool.

Difficult to use. Poor reporting capabilities. Customization limited and requires vendor expertise. Service after the sale is a joke. Even when there is an issue on the NetSuite side, response is days in coming and often useless.

We have been using NetSuite for our ERP/CRM requirements since 2009. We enjoy the flexibility of the product very much. Our implementation went well (which is amazing considering...). The integration of the ERP/CRM experience is unmatched.

Pros

- ERP/CRM integration - Cloud environment - General Functionality - Ability to Customize

Cons

- No Android App (but great IPhone App) - Blanket Order Processing needs improvement

Sad - Not a good experience working with Netsuite

I wish this was a different review but hopefully this helps the people who are looking to evaluate Netsuite. I will try my best to give you the most accurate idea. 1. The Sales calls (as expected) were very shiny and cherry! 2. They made promises of things it could do but did not state the caveats clearly. 3. They got a lot of people on the calls to make them look solid 4. The implementation seemed smooth and they gave basic training 5. After that we were just left in the dark. 6. Things took too many steps to update and the sales rep had disappeared. 7. Users were not very happy using it

Pros

Its cloud based and web based - can be accessed from anywhere!

Cons

Implementation UI Cost Overhead Frustration

Pros

The best feature within this software was its ability to keep our company tax compliant during audits.

Cons

Because it was cloud-based, there was always this feeling of mistrust. Being a small company any breach would be devasting.

Control of Cash in multi currency, commodity products , accruals , AP and AR balances are all well done in Netsuite, but bit of bespoke set up is needed

Pros

Ease of use, cloud based software & can be viewed in multiple tabs

Cons

Cannot get live information in an excel report and excel translation of the data needs modification. Import of Journals needs mapping and also reason for any import failures are not reported. If a journal has multiple reason for failure, every import pings up individual failure reason and no failure shows all the reasons.

Lacking Integration with PSA Tool

Cloud based product that was accessible anywhere with internet and it allowed us to reduce our internal hardware footprint.

Pros

Cloud Based tool with the ability to customize areas to meet your needs. Home page dashboards allow for direct visibility to the things you care most about.

Cons

Lack of direct integration to the PSA tool. We struggled with bringing all of the contract details into the PSA and associated project.

Netsuite - Cloud base for the future

A very good software for cloud base and does the basics as well as for any other added customisation.

Pros

I use it on a daily basis and its very useful for quick reports and billing. I find it very helpful when I have to raise a large number invoices at one go through the upload. The fact its a cloud base ERP, you can easily retrieve any information even if you are not connected on your local server.

Cons

It comes with standard reports.Unfortunately, If you need customize reports these are billable.

NetSuite was used across our entire organization for financials, inventory, order processing, manufacturing, CRM and our e-commerce site. I liked having everything integrated and the real time reporting.

Pros

Automation on the financial side. Billing automation. This is a cloud based solution. Highly configurable.

Cons

The NetSuite in-house support team is weak
