Easier to edit some transactions i.e. JE compared to Sage 100. Able to run financial reports for different department vs entities.
Pages/modules change in different roles instead of staying at the same page for all but limit access for each role. Some modules/buttons are named almost the same but doing the same function.

So far so good. We’re happy with the attention and customer service we are receiving.
In our evaluation of new accounting packages, we reviewed NetSuite, Blackbaud, and Sage. NetSuite gave us the functionality we wanted by far.
The cost is higher than we’d hoped for as we are s nonprofit, however they do have nonprofit pricing.

Excellent.
How flexible it is, and the ability to add additional fields and screens. It is great the amount of information on the web and help pages.
Accounts Payable has a lot of steps, and network slow down.

NetSuite is being used for all of our financial transactions and reporting. In addition, NetSuite serves as our ERP and CRM system. The entire customer life cycle, from lead generation thru opportunities, quotes, sales orders, billing, collection, and customer service provisioning is done utilizing NetSuite as our one tool for all.
NetSuite's dashboards are so amazing that it is addictive. The ability to customize searches and reports is very simple.
Speed is always an issue. They really need to optimize their network to get the best results.

NetSuite has a comprehensive network of partners. Whatever you need to customize or automate, it can be done and there are plenty of partners to help.
NetSuite is full of features. Once trained, easy to use reports.
The learning curve to implement new features is daunting.

Easy project tracking
-User friendly -Ability to copy project tasks from previous weeks -Ability to code billable projects to other firms in network -Easy to track project costs by pulling project numbers
-Occasionally NetSuite will not show the summed totals for hours on a given day which makes it troublesome to track daily hours entered

My overall experience with Netsuite is great. This software makes my job so enjoyable, finding information using a PO lookup is nice and Inventory adjustments are not difficult. Instead it makes my job very enjoyable and so happy to wake up and go to work everyday.
I loved how it is so user friendly and if you enter any information incorrectly. It is very easy to correct and very quick to do so. I believe it is well worth the money you spend to have such great software. I have since using Netsuite tried to compare so many different software applications and honestly , I have not really found anything as of yet. The closest software so far I think is SAGE.
I honestly didn't find anything that I disliked about this software.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review Pamela! If you haven't already done so, feel free to check out our NetSuite Customer Community. https://community.oracle.com/netsuite.

It is a very powerful ERP, especially its purchasing and inventory management modules and make work much easier and efficient. It allows you to connect in any device in any network. Overall I've had a great experience with NetSuite and I wish more companies used it.
The most important reason why we switched to NetSuite is that it allows you to access in any computer, anywhere, without having to be connected to the organization's network. This allows you to get work done at home, when needed. It has a lot of logistics modules based on your needs, like financials, human resources, manufacturing management, inventory, management, sales, management and purchasing management, among others. For my particular area of work, inventory management is great and is better than its competitors
Modules are restricted to different areas within the organization but sometimes you need a function or tool from a module you don't have access to. In this case, you have to contact the administrator and ask for permission, making the process a bit tedious. Reports' designs could be slightly better and allow more customization.

Despite the Cons stated above, Netsuite is a software that constantly being improved to resolve such issues. So I'm sure these limitations will be handled by the Netsuite Development team in the near future.
I really like the ease of use features and administration as aspects of net suite. It give the global visibility and local visibility of your business at a click of a button. It's easy to customize to most of your requirements without too much coding for development.
The Account receivable features for posting over payments, under payments and income without an invoice is done though manual journal entries and takes many steps compare to Sage. Also it doesn't allow you to consolidate invoice Netsuite Transactions. This means if you want to create a single invoice for more than 1 sales orders, you can't do that at present. When it comes to coding, you can't process more than 200 transactions to automatically using suite scripts, etc.

NetSuite has a comprehensive network of partners. Whatever you need to customize or automate, it can be done and there are plenty of partners to help. NetSuite can enable any one business, and all of it's employees. It has served as an easy way to manage and collect data by allowing limitless secure dashboard possibilities.
Good transparency across verticals and between the same level. It has a very broad scope of use and high functionality.
High cost but manageable in a big organization. Great UI

The ability to manage account/financials as well as CRM data, in one convenient location. It also has lots of applications developed to integrate other app data.
The ability to quickly and easily integrate a payment system, with accounting, as well as the features included from a CRM. This means you get the ability to use quotes, reports, payments, documents, and all the fields (custom or standard). Recently acquired by Oracle which gives Netsuite a greater pool of resources.
The UI is a bit dated and can be difficult to manage. The system release updates are also constant and sometimes requires assistance from the support teams to allow these upgrades. The oracle support network is vast with the new Oracle take over, which can cause a bit of headache when working with their support teams.

So far I like Netsuite, I don't love it. I'm hoping that after getting to use it more (it's only been 3 months), I will be more acquainted and used to it.
Going from Quickbooks to Netsuite was long overdue for our company. We have about 25 LLC's that all roll up to a Corporation. Each LLC has 1-7 properties. Netsuite has allowed for consolidated reporting, customized reports, and a convenient dashboard that QB cannot do.
The version of Netsuite we have did not allow for checks to be cut out of multiple bank accounts. This was a disaster since the sales team told us we were OK and the implementation team (3rd party) did not tell us this was an issue. Netsuite did pull through and wrote a script to get us working, but if you don't buy OneWorld, you will not have this option. I have used Sage Intacct and find Netsuite has a lot more customization, but sometime it is very difficult to figure out. Trying to learn where everything is or how to code is challenging.

Overall everyone at my company is very excited to have finally found a system like netsuite and are overall satisfied with your experience thus far.
The ease of use as well as the lack of a batch system. We came from Sage 300 which feels very antiquated compared to Netsuite. The UI just felt very dated and it was not user friendly at all. If you found a prior mistake after that day then you might as well have found a work around because getting it reconciled was a nightmare. With Netsuite the system is intuitive enough that it can retro almost any issue that you find today back to whatever date it needs to be adjusted with little to no issue. I also like the openness of the system, there is no need to pay someone hundreds of dollars just to modify a form it is super easy to do on your own.
I love that there is a suite answers form for quick answers but sometimes they can be more confusing than anything. Maybe add some videos demoing what to do rather than just text based support. Implementation of some aspects were also a little less than stellar.

It's a great application in terms of user friendliness as any user can familiarise with features with a little help and paths from one domain to another, say for e.g. from AP/AR to Purchases or Sales are very clear and easy to find on the menu.
It's ability to allow the user to customise the report by adding data field(s) which is great as we do not always need to go behind IT Professional asking for help. For SMEs, this means a lot in terms of money that could be saved.
At times it takes a lot of time to save pages, for e.g. when we want an invoice for pick up customer quickly it takes ages to save the page, I agree that there could be more to this issue, such band width, network traffic etc, but in my experience the wait time has been quite significant at times. Because of this, we sometime forgot to wait for the green colour confirmation bar that says info has been saved and have exited the page without realising data may not have been saved.

Prior to NS we had several systems for tracking customer leads, opportunities, and quotes. Now we have all of that in one system, and with a little bit of scripting we perform margin tests on opportunities that allow for automated approval routing before estimates are sent to customers. Real-time access to virtually any data in the system—via customizable templates and custom reports—combined with the ability to create unlimited what-if scenarios makes NetSuite an exceptionally powerful financial planning tool. There is not always a consistent naming of fields when customizing reports and searches. While this not a problem for a super user, it can be confusing for those not as experienced. Like any cloud solution, speed is always an issue. Companies need to really optimize their network to get the best results. Sending out emails is cumbersome and can be improved.
