Pros

The best part of the software is that you You can download data for any period that you desire. It provides with a very user-friendly dashboard and the ease of accounting is also there.
It's ability to allow the user to customise the report by adding data field(s) which is great as we do not always need to go behind IT Professional asking for help.
The ability to customize just about anything your organization wants is rewarding. And if you are willing to spend, you can have your system fit your business processes like a glove.

Pros

Friendly, easy to understand and with a very good help guide, NetSuite is surely a really good tool to implement when you have multi-country, multi-currency financial reportings.
The fantastic thing about NetSuite is its ability to take many platforms you maybe currently using and putting them into one easy to navigate platform.
The possibilities are really impressive and I truly recommend it.

Cons

My advice for those scoping out Netsuite is seriously analyze your business requirements and then advocate the hell for them in the scoping or implementation phases.
Please do your research before you find yourself stuck in a contract with a bunch of misleading employees that won't even respond to your email or try to address your concerns.
I hate the reporting functionality, avoid it if I can. Might be that I don't really understand its uses.

Cons

Some weird dependencies from the old days are still present. Not being able to change the primary subsidiary, or currencies of transactions is a bit counter-intuitive.
Stay on the standard version of tool. When starting customizations, it becomes sometimes difficult to have the standard report display the data as you want it.

Netsuite Early Review

So far I like Netsuite, I don't love it. I'm hoping that after getting to use it more (it's only been 3 months), I will be more acquainted and used to it.

Pros

Going from Quickbooks to Netsuite was long overdue for our company. We have about 25 LLC's that all roll up to a Corporation. Each LLC has 1-7 properties. Netsuite has allowed for consolidated reporting, customized reports, and a convenient dashboard that QB cannot do.

Cons

The version of Netsuite we have did not allow for checks to be cut out of multiple bank accounts. This was a disaster since the sales team told us we were OK and the implementation team (3rd party) did not tell us this was an issue. Netsuite did pull through and wrote a script to get us working, but if you don't buy OneWorld, you will not have this option. I have used Sage Intacct and find Netsuite has a lot more customization, but sometime it is very difficult to figure out. Trying to learn where everything is or how to code is challenging.

Netsuite has many features but overall it is not able to replace the core softwares. If you have business outside North America beware as Netsuite is not ready much for different countries. Example : Germany

Netsuite is the leader in cloud-based ERP software. It's platform is the oldest in the industry, and is easily scale able, configurable and customizable for businesses. Their model of using Netsuite employees to deploy is a great one, ensures a smoother turnound and quality implementation.

Cons

Netsuite is not for every industry, 3rd party integrations do not go well sometimes, and Netsuite is very expensive.

NetSuite is a great purchasing system for any company and any industry. I've used NetSuite for laboratory items to simple desk stationery.

Cons

There's nothing I dislike about NetSuite! Some codes were annoying to keep track of, but once you make a cheat sheet, everything becomes simple.

NetSuite Review after 18 months

Our overall experience has been very positive. We are able to spread accountability to more resources because of the power of NetSuite and what individual users can accomplish.

Pros

Prior to NetSuite, we had many add-on applications to integrate with. It made updates and seamless integration difficult. With NetSuite, we are able to function almost entirely within NetSuite. We have established relationship with NetSuite partners for additional functionality to address functional gaps that NetSuite could not address directly. However, by utilizing these partnerships, integration has been nearly seamless.

Cons

The one drawback is the ability to get enhancements addressed that specifically meet our business requirements. Again, we have partnered with NetSuite partners to address some things, however, there are other enhancements I hoped would have been easier to get addressed. It feels like they are recognized as a need, but then they fall into a large bucket that has little hope of being addressed.

Netsuite as a business are untrustworthy

Pros

Started using netsuite in our business in 2009. Before engaging I got an agreement from netsuite to limit ongoing annual increases.

Cons

Netsuite broke the agreement mentioned above. Six years later the renewal is more than double what we started paying. Netsuite as a business are untrustworthy and I'm looking for a way out.

Pros

Don't waste your time with Microsoft, or SAP when searching for an ERP. Netsuite is the best available option at the moment. It's very intuitive when it comes to navigating the software and their customer service is great if you need assistance with something. Also, they have a lot of great integration out there to improve this already amazing software.

Cons

The connector they currently have for Concur to Netsuite isn't the best but that's more of an SAP problem than it is Netsuite

Pros

NetSuite ERP system is cloud based system and can be used any where and any time.

Cons

The NetSuite system price kinds of higher.

So far so good. We’re happy with the attention and customer service we are receiving.

Pros

In our evaluation of new accounting packages, we reviewed NetSuite, Blackbaud, and Sage. NetSuite gave us the functionality we wanted by far.

Cons

The cost is higher than we’d hoped for as we are s nonprofit, however they do have nonprofit pricing.

Netsuite for Business

NetSuite has been amazing to work with and learn from. Having knowledge of NetSuite can prepare you for just about any other ERP out there and vice-versa.

Pros

NetSuite has allowed us to easily utilize CRM and ERP technologies to further company goals. Every facet of NetSuite has left a positive impact on our business so far. On top of that, Netsuite is extremely customizable and flexible enough to fit just about any business model.

Cons

NetSuite is not a very newbie-friendly ERP system. Without background knowledge on ERPs or someone to help train you, it is easy to find yourself lost very fast. Thankfully there is a massive library of FAQs and support pages.

We have been very happy with NetSuite. We switched to NetSuite mainly because of the financial statements. Our NetSuite consultants were able to configure the financial statements to best suit our needs.

Pros

I like the most about NetSuite is it is dynamic. It has a lot more functions than our previous accounting software.

Cons

It has too many features, which makes it harder to get an overall knowledge of the entire software.

NeSuite does what it needs to

I feel that NetSuite does what it is built for but it is very manual. You need to have an admin title in NetSuite to be able to take shortcuts which can be an inconvenience to many. The interface is not that great but again, it does what it needs to.

Pros

I haven't seen many errors happen via NetSuite

Cons

It is easy to make errors yourself since there is so many manual entry points

CRM for All Businesses

Overall the more I use NetSuite the easier it becomes to get the info I need to my team.

Pros

I love how easily you can customize NetSuite to your needs. We use NetSuite every day to help log task/emails/sales/activity/etc.

Cons

NetSuite can be difficult to learn at the beginning. You also have to pay for an outside service to link you emails from Outlook to NetSuite. The service is about $10/month per user.

NetSuite was used across our entire organization for financials, inventory, order processing, manufacturing, CRM and our e-commerce site. I liked having everything integrated and the real time reporting.

Pros

Automation on the financial side. Billing automation. This is a cloud based solution. Highly configurable.

Cons

The NetSuite in-house support team is weak

Daily Tasks on NetSuite

I have nothing but a good experience using NetSuite. I use NetSuite everyday and it makes my accounting tasks a lot easier.

Pros

NetSuite has allowed me to understand the world of accounting in a easy to follow software. I love how easy it is to pull reports from NetSuite making my tasks more enjoable.

Cons

There are a lot of features on NetSuite that require practice. But once you are familiar with those features working on NetSuite is a breeze.

Great capabilities

NetSuite has great capabilities. We switched from our previous software to NetSuite on 1/1/17 and have had good results so far.

Pros

The ability to create your own reports from scratch. The ability to track profitability and commissions as the previous software did not track either of them accurately.

Cons

When entering a sales order or purchase order, instead of using the Tab button to go to the next line, you have to click "OK" to go to the next line item. It takes additional time as you have to take your hands off of the keyboard so it would be nice to use the keyboard more than having to use the mouse. I also do not like the "Inventory Detail" part of it as you have to click on each individual item in order to enter the bin number and pallet number in which you are taking out of inventory. This also makes processing orders a lot more time to consume than it should be. We switched to NetSuite to get away from Excel as it would save us time. I'm not sure that NetSuite will save me anytime.

Netsuite Users Since 2006

Too many to list. We've built our business around Netsuite and use if for just about everything including but not limited to: Accounting, sales automation, marketing automation, inventory management, warehousing and fulfillment, the list goes on.

Pros

There's no substitute for a cloud based fully integrated system like Netsuite. We went live January 1, 2006 and have been building our company around Netsuite ever since.

Cons

I can't answer this questions because there's nothing I really dislike about Netsuite. The company and the product have been exceptional.

Pros

NetSuite is super easy to use, Users are able to navigate relatively easy without any training. We have had no outages with NetSuite, very stable.

Cons

Lacks ease of use for administrators for Integration with other solutions, reporting, do not plan to use with SaaS as it is not compatible.

NetSuite has served as well as a full-feature ERP system. We can manage many aspects of our business all in one system including managing projects, recording timesheets, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, internal case support, CRM, and more. I feel that NetSuite is much easier to learn and more intuitive than other systems, but it still requires time to set the system up for a company's individual needs. NetSuite is set up for wide-ranging customizations, but in many cases these customizations are necessary to get the full benefit of the program. Our time investments in NetSuite have paid off, but the program definitely requires a lot of love to adapt to the changing needs of the business.

Pros

I really like the user-friendly appearance of NetSuite, especially compared to other older systems. I think the appearance makes NetSuite inviting and accessible. In general, the program is easy to learn, and NetSuite does multiple updates every year to add to the features.

Cons

There are times where it feels like features are inexplicably absent from NetSuite. Users have the ability to submit enhancement requests, but it can take years before these are implemented. Additionally, tech support can be hit and miss on providing effective solutions to problems.
