Pros

The best part of the software is that you You can download data for any period that you desire. It provides with a very user-friendly dashboard and the ease of accounting is also there.
It's ability to allow the user to customise the report by adding data field(s) which is great as we do not always need to go behind IT Professional asking for help.
The ability to customize just about anything your organization wants is rewarding. And if you are willing to spend, you can have your system fit your business processes like a glove.

Pros

I really had an awesome experience using this amazing software. When i started using it, my office communication and timeliness has greatly improved with time and it has been awesome.
The tech support is outstanding. I can call them and they are always helpful and very patient with a physician who may not totally understand every nuance of the program.
I loved how the application was super easy to use. The navigation part of the application, made my daily workflow easier.

Cons

My advice for those scoping out Netsuite is seriously analyze your business requirements and then advocate the hell for them in the scoping or implementation phases.
Please do your research before you find yourself stuck in a contract with a bunch of misleading employees that won't even respond to your email or try to address your concerns.
I hate the reporting functionality, avoid it if I can. Might be that I don't really understand its uses.

Cons

All upgrades, additions, or troubleshooting falls back on the customer, because they assume all customers employ a full-time IT staff, and they blame any failures or problems on the customer.
Then they charged my bank account for it. When I emailed to inquire why they charged me they said they were not going to let me out of my contract early.
The lack of new features and the lack of complete integration between the EHR and the EPM, the lack of integration causes issues in development.

Pros

Strong stable base for back office functions with reports and auditable history. Good reporting functionality.

Cons

Product Support and professional services can be expensive and in some ocasions poor. You can sometimes spend atime hunting through help documentaton andd get better advice.

Great Cloud Based System

It just made everything faster and more efficient. Purchase Orders, Invoices, reports could all be done electronically and without much effort. There was a system log to hold people accountable. Anything late, altered, changed, etc could be seen and noted(date, person, and time down to the second). Departments no longer had to wait for a meeting to know their budgets. They could log in and see the numbers in real time. The customer service team always responded fast and helped me with the problems I had. We could also store invoices and check copies onto their secured server. So basically this helped the office become more efficient while going green.

Pros

That it is cloud based. This helped me solve a lot of problems when I was not physically in my office. If I was sick, on vacation, or away from the office at night I could still answer questions. I didn't need to drive in and log into the software that was on the company server.

Cons

There is a lot to the system. While it can most likely do everything you need it to, there is also a learning curb that comes with it. Some of it can be self taught, while others can be covered via a youtube video. For other issues you need help on you would need to contact the customer service team. So basically the thing I liked least was that there is so much that sometimes it is hard to find what you need.

User since it began as Net Ledger in 2000, not one outage or unscheduled downtime in 14 years and counting.

Pros

Cloud-based - gives 24/7 access for wherever you are, not office or desk bound. Easy to use - almost intuitive with on-screen guides to help if needed.

Pros

Netsuite's functions, both for front office and back office individuals is intuitive. A minimal amount of support / help menus is necessary to be able to access and utilize the features of Netsuite. I enjoy and appreciate how customize-able Netsuite is with minimal IT or programming experience - it is an ERP software for really everyone. Netsuite is constantly coming up with new features to enhance my experience, and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the ERP.

Cons

I wish that there were a better help menu / functionality - it is good that Netsuite is so easy to use, because the "help" function is often times not helpful. I also wish that customer service were more customer-oriented, it is often times confusing as to who I should contact (whether it be Netsuite directly, or my Netsuite sales / account rep). I also wish that the new features (such as the verticals) had more demos available online, so that it'd be easier to see and know what kinds of additional functionality they have to offer.

Happy with the system. We have recently moved our shopping carts away from Netsuite due to the reasons above.

Pros

Software is online. Software is very easy to use so suitable for all staff not just office based staff Software is so powerful that you can use it for invoicing, customer support, CRM and Shopping carts.

Cons

Slow on development of shopping carts. Not up to date with the likes of Shopify etc.. and also the costs are too much compared to Shopify.

Pros

Software is very flexible once programmed. Being in the cloud, you can access it from almost anywhere. Updates and upgrades are done automatically so we don't have to be involved. The email support is quick to answer any questions.

Cons

We had to do a lot of workflow processes to get the results we need. The software is in the cloud so when the internet is down in the office so are we unless we use our cell phone hotspot or go home and work from there.

Pros

I like how you can log in from anywhere. The fact that this processing system is online (as opposed to local access only) enables salespeople and other team members to keep up with their work in and out of the office.

Cons

I do not like how hard it is so customize. There are many many features, many of which we do not need or use. I wish it were a little easier to set up the features to more closely align with our specific needs.

Great ERP, Takes Some Time To Adjust

Netsuite is great! It is cloud based, meaning that work can be done on the fly, outside of the office. It has functionality above and beyond our previous accounting software. The reporting functionality lacks ease of use and capability.

Pros

The functionality and integration with our other business systems is what I appreciate most about Netsuite. Our efficiency increased tenfold with its integration.

Cons

The reporting function isn't as straight forward and easy to use as other systems I have used in the past.

Best platform for small and large business

very good, 100% would recommend. It is an asset to our company and we have been told by several potential Venture Capital groups that we are so far ahead of most companies our size by using NetSuite we have added value to our company.

Pros

The ease of integration with several of our very important eCommerce software platforms. Everyone in our office is now operation in the same environment, no need to use different platforms for different jobs. Also, the reports are endless and tremendous, the customization is a godsend!

Cons

Did take a bit longer to migrate data and set up than anticipated but once it was done works like a charm. A small learning curve to operate but it is very forgiving so no need to worry about messing anything up.

Good accounting solution until the cost went up

Pros

When we used NetSuite, it was very flexible in allowing us to change templates and invoices. It was convenient to be able to use it from anywhere other than just my office computer. The company gave us training on how to use it which was a big help.

Cons

They started charging more, which is the reason that we switched since we are a small business.

My experience has been great never no issues, everything needed and what is expected for our everyday business the Netsuite software has been so crucial and helpful for our everyday business. I am glad we use their services

Pros

I have been using this software since 2010 and there been so many transitions but Netsuite/ Oracle has made our company successful with processing of orders and managing customer orders, inventory and financials bookkeeping and overall the friendly user it is and how it is cloud driven. I had many situations I been able to search customer name or contact and or track an order or review pricing etc from my mobile or laptop away from the office. Netsuite provides everything needed for the Supply Chain business

Cons

The Mobile App I feel can be much easier to use, but that is the only thing I wish they can make better. The App itself.

NetSuite is a great ERP for running your entire company on. The integration between the front office (CRM, quoting, marketing, support management) and backoffice (accounting, project management, inventory) can save a tremendous amount of time by eliminating duplicate entries and providing great insight into your customers. The platform is extremely flexible and uses standard technology like Javascript to customize. Over the years the product has become more complicated as a result of adding in more modules and features, however once implemented and trained the ROI should be realized quickly.

Netsuite on the Go

I would highly recommened Netsuite to any company large or small as I work out of a home office and travel very often. With out Netsuite I could not do my job where ever I am. With the ease of use and the flexibility of Netsuite I can also do real time sales at tradeshows no matter where they are. Netsuite has been a valuable addition to the company that I work for that I don't think any other software could accomplish. It sure makes my life a lot eaisier.

Pros

Ease of use, Flexibility, Customizable, Ability to perform your work duties even when you are traveling outside the country, Professional.

Cons

Having to pay extra for the new Suite Commerce platform (that should come as an update that is included in your cost to begin with)

I like this app as it was so easy to use!

I like this app as it was so easy to use and pretty much runs itself! I use it in my office for inventory and processing, orders. I have saved a lot of time and believe I made a great decision by choosing this. It took me some time to get it all rolling, but now it runs easily. I had been previously using QuickBooks, and I feel this was a great upgrade. A few cons: hard to customize individual items, but I learned to work around it.

The sky is clear in the cloud

We have been using NetSuite for roughly a year. There were a lot of growing pains. People did not like change. However it is getting better. We are constantly learning new things about the system.

Pros

It is more user friendly. We were previously on PeopleSoft Financials for approximately 20 years. It was highly customized and there were a lot of system limitations as far as reports and queries. More of our users are able to run system reports for themselves such as the AR Aging Report. NetSuite offers more flexibility. It communicates better with other systems that we use. I like being able to access NetSuite from any computer since it is in the cloud. With our previous software, we had to access the system through a VPN if we were outside of the office. I like the global search box

Cons

There are still limitations on some of the saved searches as far as how it pulls in information. For instance, for an AP Report, it can pull in invoice numbers with the vendor, date, amount. If I want it to pull in the check number, this will cause additional lines on the report. I don't like the journal upload process works. If there are multiple errors in a journal that is being uploaded, only the first error is identified. You have to go through multiple attempts in order to find all the lines with errors. This is time consuming.

you can see what data is changed and by who it has been changed.

Cons

too much info on screen what is irrelevant for me. No customization for my setup what i need to work with no use of tab and arrows, only use of mouse what causes me RSI. If you make a error or change somewhere it's almost impossible to adjust all related data. It's a chain reaction, if somebody in the office don't make a Work Order, I can't make a pick list. It's not so automated as told by sale. we need more people to do the same work then before. making a pick list cost me more time then before. i need a bigger screen to see all data, or i need to scroll like i have to do right now. can't put extra info on a pick list

Best investment for a growing company doing business worldwide.

Pros

The main advantage of NetSuite for our company is that it is cloud-based but not a pared-down version of an ERP system. It has many built-in approval processes and also allows us to customize workflows. It has built-in multi-currency functionality as well, allowing us to easily do business globally and paperlessly. This has saved us time and money in managing multi-currency transactions in the accounting department. We attach all of our transaction's supporting documents to the transaction records in NetSuite and then give access to our external auditors each quarter for their reviews. This has essentially eliminated the need for them to come and work at our office for weeks at a time each quarter, resulting in a cost savings both in their fees as well as time spent internally.

Cons

The part I least like is that the license is by specific individuals. We have some individuals that may need access just a couple of times a month, but we still have to procure a full license for them.

Using NetSuite for 7 locations

Pros

It has a good database, however, it still requires you run separate reports for sales, then inventory and combine. It has a low cost and is cloud-based.

Cons

NetSuite does not provide any service. If you are a small company with 10 stores, you will be "supported" by an office in the Philippines. The team does not follow up as they promise. You will need to follow up multiple times to get answers and sometimes not get an answer. I met a rep at NRF 2015 who told me that he would move our account to US. I have emailed and called multiple times with no response....
