Pros

The best part of the software is that you You can download data for any period that you desire. It provides with a very user-friendly dashboard and the ease of accounting is also there.
It's ability to allow the user to customise the report by adding data field(s) which is great as we do not always need to go behind IT Professional asking for help.
The ability to customize just about anything your organization wants is rewarding. And if you are willing to spend, you can have your system fit your business processes like a glove.

My advice for those scoping out Netsuite is seriously analyze your business requirements and then advocate the hell for them in the scoping or implementation phases.
Please do your research before you find yourself stuck in a contract with a bunch of misleading employees that won't even respond to your email or try to address your concerns.
I hate the reporting functionality, avoid it if I can. Might be that I don't really understand its uses.

No ERP system is perfect, and NetSuite is no exception

Overall, the experience has been disappointing. There is a huge gap between the sales team and the reality of actually implementing/using the software - during the sales meetings, they say you can do everything really easily, all the integration companies are close partners, etc. During implementation, it quickly becomes clear that nothing is easy, none of the integrations work, and it's a complete mess.

Pros

NetSuite is accessible from a web browser - there is no need to maintain a server that is costly and constantly experiences problems.

Cons

Implementation is very challenging - even with a very expensive implementation package from NetSuite directly.

Pros

Netsuite has been around forever. Now it is cloud based and allows you to run your entire enterprise in one package.

Cons

Pricing can be a little high. Oracle as a company can be very difficult to work with. Support can be iffy sometimes.

NetSuite is good ERP system for small scale industries and those who don't want to spend alot on infrastructure and use Oracle Cloud.

Pros

Its an world class ERP system available on cloud and that is on Oracle cloud. All the departments are well integrated module wise.

Cons

Its cost and then limited(minimum package) features are still not helping enough so have to go for the higher versions.

I have enjoyed my time using the project management with my workmates since we do run a lot of projects.

Pros

NetSuite is an all-in-one package giving you Project Management, CRM, HR, Finance and much more. I personally have enjoyed the project management since that is the one i use the most. If you find yourself in need of a great project management.

Cons

NetSuite is great tool but it requires one to go through training for you to get the full potential of the complete package

If you are looking at a software upgrade that you want to launch your company into the 21st century, consider NetSuite.

Pros

Very user friendly, customizable, and tailored to our needs. We have a great team dedicated to our conversion, they are very thorough in the questions they have asked in order to make it work specifically for us. The online training is very thorough. I will be able to manage financials and information for several companies from one dashboard, and have the ability to combine information without using separate Excel spreadsheets.

Cons

That payroll and HR can't be processed in house as part of the entire package. It is a separate SuiteSolution add on and is processed by them.

The only advantage of this software is what I said before, besides this I do not recommend it.

Pros

What I like most about this software is that is not a package installed in my PC. It is launched in a web page and I can acces to it from everywhere; my laptop, my cellpphone...

Cons

The interface is not friendly at all. Things feel very complicated in this software. Also, it feels like this software has a lot of bugs, throws errors randomly, for example.

Great concept that it can purchase to pay. The system can handle quite a bit. It's very easy to navigate.

Cons

Wish it had an RFQ process in this system. Instead you can get a bolt on package, which most software offers. Had we known this, we might have looked at other options.

NetSuite helps our company manage our inventory, purchase, and sales orders with ease. And with it having everything within one software it makes it so you dint have to worry about any 3rd party integrations for additional platforms.

Pros

NetSuite as a whole offers a lot of great tools. It is the all in one package. With NetSuite you a top of the line ERP, e-commerce website, and a CRM. NetSuite is really good about staying on top of the market and pushes out new updates every six months.

Cons

There is a lot of short comings with the e-commerce side of NetSuite. Overall it is a decent platform for e-commerce however, there are better options on the market that offer more feature.

Endless bolt-ons

Painful. Pick a good partner, pay special attention to 'slimming down' the UI to remove excess options and buttons. It'll still look like something from the mid 90s but NetSuite doesn't really do UX!

Pros

NetSuite can (probably) do anything you need from an ERP and for that level of flexibility is surprisingly inexpensive.

Cons

In trying to do everything it can seem overwhelming for end users. They have so much 'clicking' to do they get confused, push the wrong button and because the whole thing is in effect an accounts package it can be difficult to undo the mess.

Overall, Netsuite has met our needs in our ERP migration and has a robust CRM/eCommerce capability as well.

Pros

Netsuite / Oracle is the total package for small companies looking for a an ERP/CRM and eCommerce platform all rolled into one product. The software is cloud-based and is updated twice per year and give news capabilities. It's eCommerce software has evolved nicely over the past 5 years and gets better and better.

Cons

Netsuite has many capabilities and you want to make good of use of it within your company. Sometimes that requires customizations which take more time and money than you would like, but that is with all software.

Pros

As an ERP, it integrates more of our business processes vs the standard CRM, so our sales team is able to see real time inventory and availability of our parts. Additionally, the integration into UPS helps us track packages and communicate shipping information.

Cons

The support, report usability, and customer service. They sell support packages with the initial package and are unwilling to help with basic issues. The knowledge base is very general, and if you send in an email ticket, you generally receive a link to the general knowledge base articles.

Pros

Everything you need is in one package & you can turn features on and off depending on the nature of your business. We've found that as our business changes, teams will have requests for additional fields, searches, etc - I can add it all in myself in very little time. And I'm not a programmer! Support team is wonderful - 24 hours/day with very quick response. When I had problems changing the map over too Baidu maps, they worked with me and sent me new code to implement and filed it as an enhancement request. Online help articles usually solve my questions.

Cons

People who grew up on Macs want more graphic interfaces like Pipedrive (for sales lead management) - they think the interface is too database-driven

Lots of Potential for Large Businesses, but Not a Good Fit for Small Businesses

For small businesses, I would not recommend Netsuite. The licensing is very expensive, and you ideally need a certified Netsuite professional on staff in order to utilize the software to its full potential. The customer service experience was also lacking, but that tends to be ubiquitous across most platforms of this genre. For big businesses that can dedicate staff to the maintenance and configuration of the application, there are endless possibilities, and you are likely to find everything you need all in one software bundle. For everyone else, however, I would suggest a more economical option.

Pros

Netsuite has seemingly endless business uses and integrations, and can perform a wide variety of tasks from basic accounting to project management. The system itself is very customizable to meet your specific business needs, with a variety of different service add-ons available for and additional fees. When used correctly, Netsuite can potentially be a one-stop shop for all of your primary business functions, and is adjustable to accommodate virtually every user role possible.

Cons

Netsuite is very expensive, even for its basic feature package. The licensing fees increase each year automatically, and there is little room to negotiate with your account manager. In my experience, customer service has been less than satisfactory, and you are constantly tossed back and forth between departments whenever there is an issue. The customization process for the application is also extremely complex, so if you do not participate in formal training program for the software, you may have a difficult time setting up your desired features.

Once you get comfortable with the navigation and understand the workflows, it's easy to use. I'll give credit to NetSuite/Oracle for the help forum. Needed to add some functionality to the purchasing process (tracking whether POs have been acknowledged by the vendor, so I can follow up if not). Had a vague idea how to do it, but posted on the forum. One day later a NetSuite guru had posted a step-by-step process that 100% nailed it.

Pros

It's a web-based ERP, so it does basically anything you ask it to (or are will to pay for it to do). Once you get the hang of it, it's an awesome tool for ordering, receiving, production planning, accounting, etc. Customizable dashboard puts the right info in front of me.

Cons

1. It's web-based, but it's slowwwwwwww. Far and away the slowest software I use on my desktop (Mac). Sign in on the iPad Pro? It'll add an hour to my day waiting for page loads. 2. Everything costs extra. We currently pay for a third-party software to connect our Shopify store to NetSuite. Heard there was now a native NetSuite-Shopify connection. Tried to connect - turns out, you've got to pay for that too. Don't get me wrong - it's powerful stuff, but anything that's not part of the basic package is going to cost you. Negotiate!

Its highest asset is its ability to service all aspects of the your business in one package. From the initial CRM and Sales management to project workflow and resource management to billing and all financial reporting. You have the ability to see these touch points historically as they occur and through KPIs. Scripting can be used to customize any data or reporting needs. Some needed enhancements include: ability to generate PDF forms on project records, ability to generate overall project profitability that includes labor and out of pocket costs in one report, better integration with outlook email and calendar. Currently without NetSuite we would definitely require more staff to process requests and address our day to day needs from our internal clients.

Implementation can be a nightmare depending on who you get and how proactive you are in advocating for your needs. Lots of customization options, but you will need a good hire or a big wallet for the Netsuite Solutions Consultants. Not simple for your average non-tech user to understand all of the system functions UI is not pretty Support is lacking -- better of troubleshooting on your own unless you want to shell out (a lot of) money for the mostly useless support/consultants.
