Pros

The best part of the software is that you You can download data for any period that you desire. It provides with a very user-friendly dashboard and the ease of accounting is also there.
It's ability to allow the user to customise the report by adding data field(s) which is great as we do not always need to go behind IT Professional asking for help.
The ability to customize just about anything your organization wants is rewarding. And if you are willing to spend, you can have your system fit your business processes like a glove.

Pros

The program is useful, more user friendly. Provides a significant advantage in multi-person projects.
If there is ever any kind of issue it has been resolved with in moments of reaching out to tech support. I also was able to teach myself this program which is always a bonus.
Primavera is really robust and capable of helping in planning and project management, you can easily manage users and permissions and it's even able to integrate with a process engine.

Cons

My advice for those scoping out Netsuite is seriously analyze your business requirements and then advocate the hell for them in the scoping or implementation phases.
Please do your research before you find yourself stuck in a contract with a bunch of misleading employees that won't even respond to your email or try to address your concerns.
I hate the reporting functionality, avoid it if I can. Might be that I don't really understand its uses.

Cons

P6 is very possibly the least easy-to-use program I've ever been taught. While it's full of features, it's horrible to navigate and takes some serious training for employees.
Current customer support by Oracle is terrible. EI and Java could never be updated otherwise the software would not function.
Sometimes the program can be a little frustrating.

NetSuite is good ERP system for small scale industries and those who don't want to spend alot on infrastructure and use Oracle Cloud.

Pros

Its an world class ERP system available on cloud and that is on Oracle cloud. All the departments are well integrated module wise.

Cons

Its cost and then limited(minimum package) features are still not helping enough so have to go for the higher versions.

Pros

It is a cloud-based erp platform purchased by Oracle. With this acquisition, oracle is positioning cloud-based fusion and netsuite erp solutions to its customers. On the other hand, the old generation ebs and jd edwards are positioned to customers as on-premise products upon request. It is user friendly.

Cons

Besides being simple and useful, it could have been more functional. But still a good app.

Powerful .. a 'poor man's' Oracle. Figured we get the benefit of Oracle software at a small business price.

Great overall experience with the software. We have found it to be easy to use, its configurable to meet our needs and a solution we can grow with. Overall good value, reasonably low cost feature rich completely cloud based ERP system.

Pros

Product is completely cloud based and easy to use. Updates to software are automatic and painless. Do not need an IT Staff to support it. We've been using for 8 years and haven't needed any dedicated full-time IT staff. Features are rich and it is highly customizable to meet your company's needs.

Cons

Owned by Oracle now. Cost keeps increasing.

This software is the best cloud software I've seen or used. Years of thought have basically resolved 95% of processes all companies use. This software has the ability to eliminate your need for any other software.

Pros

Cloud based, includes accounting, HR, CMMS, payroll and all other processes used for different software. Uncomparably cheaper to bigger software companies like SAP and Oracle but has all their features plus more.

Cons

In depth CMMS software would need to be integrated with netsuite, not in basic purchase.

Pros

Oracle netsuite has mutiple integration options which makes it easy to use with other applications

Cons

It is quite useful for large scale companies however its probably not ideal for smaller organizations

NetSuite takes geting use to.

Pros

We use Oracle in our daily business so this was a perfect marriage. The integration was seamless. We have a lot of data with the customers we are involved with and numerous reports. Also being in cloud based environment which we are getting more use to was a plus.

Cons

In the beginning like most software there are problems in getting use to and data reports had to be rechecked to make sure. But the more we worked with it the problems ceased.

Pros

Oracle and net suite are a match made in heaven. Working together and maximizing my time is the best.

Cons

Oracle products are good and will always be constructed to do the best but I get completely addicted to the products.

Pros

Relational database allows deep diving to create reports and saved searches. If Netsuite was called NutSuite the saved search is the "Nut Cracker". Module approach allows greater flexibility and functionality.

Cons

Multi join searches not available. Lack of better support for life sciences vertical. Price increase after Oracle take over.

Netsuite for ERP/CRM/eCommerce

Overall, Netsuite has met our needs in our ERP migration and has a robust CRM/eCommerce capability as well.

Pros

Netsuite / Oracle is the total package for small companies looking for a an ERP/CRM and eCommerce platform all rolled into one product. The software is cloud-based and is updated twice per year and give news capabilities. It's eCommerce software has evolved nicely over the past 5 years and gets better and better.

Cons

Netsuite has many capabilities and you want to make good of use of it within your company. Sometimes that requires customizations which take more time and money than you would like, but that is with all software.

Pros

Fantastic product once again from oracle. Solid company that you you can always rely on to deliver innovative yet classic software.

Cons

I can honestly say I have never had any issues that I can remember with this or any other oracle product.

Basic inventory management and order visibility are what our company was primarily looking for.

Pros

The user interface was a step above the competition.

Cons

Out of the box warehouse management and production capabilities are severely limited. Oracle missed the mark on developing a core WMS.

Pros

Netsuite has been around forever. Now it is cloud based and allows you to run your entire enterprise in one package.

Cons

Pricing can be a little high. Oracle as a company can be very difficult to work with. Support can be iffy sometimes.

NetSuite - Excellent Accounting and ERP Solution!

We implemented NetSuite Financials, Manufacturing and Service at seven companies this year. Having used SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and other accounting and ERP software in the past, I can confidently say that NetSuite is by far the easiest to use and easiest to report out of. The controls and features and functionality NetSuite offers are outstanding for this fully cloud-based solution.

Pros

Ease of use, reliability, cloud-based, minimal IT staff required, rich features and functionality, solid controls, responsiveness of NetSuite professionals, additional software that can be integrated.

Cons

With power and control comes complexity at times: controls are achieved by approximately 4,000 "permissions". These can be a challenge for new users to configure properly.

Pros

ERP cloud based, very complete software, it is a lot more cheaper than the oracle solution, you can access the software from any device even from cell phones. you can use it for all your company from sales to shipping all the cicle, you can evan control your manufacturing , purchase orders, inventory, etc. one of the best and completes ERP on the market

Cons

even it is cheaper than oracle enterprise it is still a lot expensive for small companies , even the price for every user is not that expensive but the implementation cost is very very high

Jack of All Trades - Master of None !

We have been using Netsuite since 2006, the implementation (by Netsuite) was a shambles and cost several thousands (£) to get put right. Netsuite's CRM is woeful, we had better CRM in 2006 using Goldmine. I think Netsuite is summed up by the additional software / SAAS we use in place of the Netsuite offering: Sugar CRM for CRM Sugar Market for Email Marketing Big Commerce for Website Waer Systems for WMS Netstock for Sales Forecasting / Demand Planning Netsuite claims to be able to do all of the above, it may do, but to such a poor level, it's not a viable option

Pros

I struggle to think of any Pros, Netsuite is not a very Customer focused company and things have got worse since it was acquired by Oracle

Cons

It's expensive for what you get And when you realise that a lot of what you are paying for is really very poor and that you have to buy additional software/SAAS to make up for it's shortcomings, it is even more expensive The annual renewal with Netsuite is an unpleasant and unnecessary fight every year In June 2020, mid Covid and it's impact on business around the world, Netsuite is trying to increase it's prices by 8% !!! For what ? It still has the same old clunky "out of date" UI, very limited change is made in their annual updates - it remains very dated and Netsuite never address the key lack of functionality. Quite how Netsuite can claim to be a solution is beyond me !

Pros

Having worked around Oracle for decades NetSuite was equally powerful but didn't have all the database admin overhead. I've continued to be impressed about what NetSuite delivers. It was THE only solution that supported complicated Revenue Accounting deals. In my mind it still is the only solution out there that does this elegantly. General Accounting processes are easy and "just work"!

Cons

My heart still aches that NetSuite sold out to Oracle. I expect that we will start down the Oracle headspace of releasing a lot of code that is buggy and forever waiting on a solutions. To the minutia....Chart of Account updates are hard an little guidance is given to companies that might not have accounting staff when they are starting out. Excel downloads still throw an error message every.single.time.

Leading ERP System

Pros

NetSuite is a good all-round solution for the ERP needs of most of our clients. It’s strengths are easy implementation with limited customisation needed, while being able to replace most legacy ERP systems. It provides easy support for big-picture financial decision-making.

Cons

Customer support has not been as good after the acquisition by Oracle, perhaps due to teething issues. Despite the wide range of features, functionality has sometimes been lacking and has not been updated.

My experience has been great never no issues, everything needed and what is expected for our everyday business the Netsuite software has been so crucial and helpful for our everyday business. I am glad we use their services

Pros

I have been using this software since 2010 and there been so many transitions but Netsuite/ Oracle has made our company successful with processing of orders and managing customer orders, inventory and financials bookkeeping and overall the friendly user it is and how it is cloud driven. I had many situations I been able to search customer name or contact and or track an order or review pricing etc from my mobile or laptop away from the office. Netsuite provides everything needed for the Supply Chain business

Cons

The Mobile App I feel can be much easier to use, but that is the only thing I wish they can make better. The App itself.

Great Out of the Box

Netsuite is a great out-of-the-box ERP. The base ERP package offers everything you need to get an average business running -- in the cloud. The implementation can be very quick and straightforward or a real nightmare. The system is not intuitive to understand, but it is not overly complex. Customizations (even simple ones) require more effort than they ought to take. My advice for those scoping out...

Pros

Out-of-the-box functionality Ease of use Cloud, cloud, cloud! Overall very stable platform Fully customizable* API allows for endless integrations

Cons

Implementation can be a nightmare depending on who you get and how proactive you are in advocating for your needs. Lots of customization options, but you will need a good hire or a big wallet for the Netsuite Solutions Consultants. Not simple for your average non-tech user to understand all of the system functions UI is not pretty Support is lacking -- better of troubleshooting on your own unless you want to shell out (a lot of) money for the mostly useless support/consultants.

We utilize CRM, ERP, and SCA. We truly have one system of record with a true 360 degree view of our customers.

Pros

The flexibility of the platform. You literally can make it do anything you want and you are only limited by your imagination.

Cons

Support has become very bad since the Oracle merger. I am not sure if reps have transitioned out but it used to be very good. I do not like defect tracking and the reps don't seem to know or understand the system.
