Overall great product. Totally scalable and fairly intuitive.
Between Netsuite and the products that it interacts with you can do almost anything. Extremely flexible, great customization opportunities.

Don't waste your time with Microsoft, or SAP when searching for an ERP. Netsuite is the best available option at the moment. It's very intuitive when it comes to navigating the software and their customer service is great if you need assistance with something. Also, they have a lot of great integration out there to improve this already amazing software.
The connector they currently have for Concur to Netsuite isn't the best but that's more of an SAP problem than it is Netsuite

It's well-designed in the sense of appearance and functions available. It works great for maintaining inventory counts.
It's not at all user-friendly. It doesn't flow, nor is it intuitive with multi-step processes. It's also difficult to track what has been done previously.

It looks quite modern, but in fact looks can be quite deceiving. The service has had good uptime.
It's really complicated to do anything in this system, labels for different features don't make any sense and are often not consistent. User experience is horrible.

Above Average in a good way
The ability to see time accruals and organize time by category is fantastic. It really helps to make it through projects efficiently, and the reporting helps everyone in the company. It's lean, and the interface makes sense for the most part.
The reporting is completely non-intuitive, and because of all the various settings, it can be very complex to develop very simple reporting that comes standard with other systems that cost a fraction of what NetSuite and OpenAir do.

Just an employee who records time using this tool, so I don't get to use all of the functionality, but I'd say from my standpoint it's a generally okay tool. Minor frustrations don't hinder it, though there's room for improvement.

Having to rely on others to add to categories results in human error usually, meaning time can't be reported unless everyone's game is on point. There aren't ways to prod people with reminder emails if they don't respond either so it might be weeks for something to get approved, and by the it's too late - unless you can see your representative in person.

Our support team can see what sales, finance, and professional services are doing with a customer. They can see case history for all the users at the customer. Ease of use is a really good, but the sales team struggles (but their focus should be on selling so they don't use the system as often). Using issues module, we can keep customers up to date on enhancement and bug fixes while closing their current case with a workaround. The update on the fix goes automatically to the customer when the issue is resolved. Everyone can see when a customer is marked at risk. And anyone with customer contact can enter the alert to give the account owners more time to resolve.
Access in the cloud was a big plus for us. But the full view of the customer has been the bigger gain.
The search constraints don't allow for too many layers in a single search. Case reports cant look into invoice pricing as the invoices are on the customer. A customer search can se that, but if you are starting with case parameters to understand a product profit margin from support, it requires some cross referencing in excel.

Setting up a scalable ERP & investing in the company future!
All inclusive one stop ERP system good for small companies and scalable for the future. Reporting/view features are nice and reminders on the homepage & personalized dashboard are a good touch.
Can be slow to load views at times but thats a minor issue compared to the benefits & efficiency that net suite can bring. Previously using quickbooks.

We utilize CRM, ERP, and SCA. We truly have one system of record with a true 360 degree view of our customers.
The flexibility of the platform. You literally can make it do anything you want and you are only limited by your imagination.
Support has become very bad since the Oracle merger. I am not sure if reps have transitioned out but it used to be very good. I do not like defect tracking and the reps don't seem to know or understand the system.

NetSuite enables employees to view and manage their timesheet and allows for tracking multiple projects or tasks on a single timesheet. It's fine if you're looking for that basic requirement of your timesheet management tool. The overall dashboard look can be upgraded.
We mainly use NetSuite for their timesheet management and time tracking software. If you're looking for the bare minimum, it'll deliver on that. Employees are able to log into the system and input their hours worked, allocate it to a specific project (tasks, PTOs, holidays - preset by the admin), and then submit timesheet for approval.
There are no extra bells or whistles to this particular software. The interface itself looks prehistoric. It could use a modern overhaul.

It is a sophisticated and powerful tool to have especially in the sales industry
CRM features and the ability to track sales, send out contracts, and view commissions
cost is higher than most competitors, but Netsuite provides probonos and discounts

Overall, it's a great inventory management product that just needs some fine tuning.
We implemented Netsuite at our organization and moved off of using Excel sheets for ordering. The ability to use Netsuite to get an organization view of inventory by order category improved our ability to manage our inventory.
Certain browsers aren't as fast as others. We noticed IE, Mozilla were faster than using Netsuite with Chrome based browsers.

Very organized, consistent management of Sales opportunities with descriptive tie-ins to RFP status have helped the RFP and sales teams maintain a good 20,000 ft view of historical records.
As an RFP manager, NetSuite offers a widely adequate selection of standard fields for cataloging prospects and opportunities. The RFP-stage status feature ties directly into each sales opportunity and translates well over to a master RFP dashboard, separating your opportunities by RFP stage.
Navigation speed could be improved. The time it takes to select, load, and update individual records is not as fast as it could be. General program responsiveness and performance needs to be increased in order to keep NS competitive in a widening sales / RFP software tracking market.

While a robust system and software package it would be helpful if report creation, modification, filtering were slightly more focused towards financial reporting, and ad hoc analysis. I need to drop info into Excel too often in order to prepare board reports. Hopefully enhanced user reporting interface is on the horizon.
Good P&L and GL general package.

We are being able to sort out all of the information that comes into NetSuite in an easy to visualize and summarize way. However it's not as flexible as other databases we use. But in a first instance it's a great way to commute the information across all the systems the information comes from, the best part is that it's easy to use.
What I like the most is the ease to look for anything that's in NetSuite, also how it gives you a lot of options to download your information in diverse formats (excel, pdf, csv, etc), as well as to customize when you get which report (like scheduling a report) and lastly how you can get the system information (which is a great detail of the upload time, changes and so on and when they took place).
There is a limit to the information you view, so you may have to make a custom view with custom filters to see what you want to visualise, however the formulas in NetSuite seem to fall short so, customization falls short at times or even the profile you need may not have the customize option.

multiple ways to view information. the ability to pull multiple cross referencing reports. It populates into an excel format that makes it easy to use.
there are many features that are difficult to find in the interface. The layout and overall flow is cumbersome. difficult to correct bad information

I login and use NetSuite daily, so it is integrated in many aspects of my work day. It functions pretty well, and we are able to submit tickets when we need technical help.
I love that I am able to run reports on almost anything within NetSuite. We are also able to track any open orders, which is very helpful when multiples hands are working with one customer.
NetSuite has a few areas that could use some help. When your in a customers profile, if you could view the overall balance that they have due would be fantastic.

Netsuite is basically SAP for the small guy. Setting up takes some work but in a minimum amount of time we had a complete view of our business and customers. Major companies that I work with are always surprised by the data and reports I can easily get off the system.
Upgrades can sometime interfere with customization's we have done. Overall the support is good but it is off shore. More recently they have limited the amount of people the will support which was never discuss when we bought into the system. So changing rules seems to be an issue.

I really like the way the Financial Statements are show in the web app. They are so intuitive that it makes is very easy to understand all of my key accounts in a single view.
I do not like the formatting of the general ledger when downloading into Microsoft Excel. The format does not allow for easy analysis.

I feel NetSuite the industry standard. However when considering purchasing NetSuite, remember that it's not easy to pick up and run with it. It takes some time to learn how to operate the system and customize it to be optimal for your business.
I love the dashboard view. When I don't have a ton of time, I love the real time updates I see on the dashboard. Detailing reporting is also helpful. The customer service is top notch.
I would love to have set automatic notification when tasks are completed.
