The UI is great for an ERP. The reporting and search capabilities are great and allow for customized views that satisfy Accounting and F&A needs.
From an FP&A perspective, there isn't any area where NetSuite falls terribly short. Sometimes the process flows within the interface can be heavy (a lot of clicking) but compared to my prior experience with SAP HANA it is still lightyears ahead.

This software is the best cloud software I've seen or used. Years of thought have basically resolved 95% of processes all companies use. This software has the ability to eliminate your need for any other software.
Cloud based, includes accounting, HR, CMMS, payroll and all other processes used for different software. Uncomparably cheaper to bigger software companies like SAP and Oracle but has all their features plus more.
In depth CMMS software would need to be integrated with netsuite, not in basic purchase.

Looks and feels like SAP, at the fraction of the cost.
I continuously need to change my password a few times a year it seems. Gets hard to keep track of, and my mobile will sometimes not accept my new password.

I'd highly recommend Netsuite for anyone that is used to SAP.
I like the ease of use, reporting features are great, and overall experience is excellent. I also like the fact that I can be anywhere in the world and log into my account.
Product support is lacking. Takes a long time for requests to be fulfilled, or they will tell you flat out that it will take 6months to a year.

Business Problem Solved: Having a cloud based accounting system without hiring an expensive IT Guy. Was able to automate our sales and purchase process and the reports it generated were really useful.
Its flexibility and its less dependency on programmers. We replaced our SAP Business One with Netsuite Limited Edition after our IT Guy left. Since the forms in Netsuite are easily customizable without any programming required. We were able to easily edit our the layout of the documents to suit our needs by ourselves. Also, since Netsuite is cloud based. We were able to implement it easily in our provincial branch by just buying a $100 laptop as compared to $1,000-2,000 if it was SAP.
Additional support is expensive. But you can eventually find most of the solutions in google or its forum.

Overall, its above average, still too much to change as compared to SAP ERP.
It's easy to use compared to other software.
Unlike SAP, we can't run the close or open in report in General ledgers. It would be much better if you can provide a document no when transaction closed.

Don't waste your time with Microsoft, or SAP when searching for an ERP. Netsuite is the best available option at the moment. It's very intuitive when it comes to navigating the software and their customer service is great if you need assistance with something. Also, they have a lot of great integration out there to improve this already amazing software.
The connector they currently have for Concur to Netsuite isn't the best but that's more of an SAP problem than it is Netsuite

We implemented NetSuite Financials, Manufacturing and Service at seven companies this year. Having used SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and other accounting and ERP software in the past, I can confidently say that NetSuite is by far the easiest to use and easiest to report out of. The controls and features and functionality NetSuite offers are outstanding for this fully cloud-based solution.
Ease of use, reliability, cloud-based, minimal IT staff required, rich features and functionality, solid controls, responsiveness of NetSuite professionals, additional software that can be integrated.
With power and control comes complexity at times: controls are achieved by approximately 4,000 "permissions". These can be a challenge for new users to configure properly.

Good so far for the price that we are paying. Easy to generate sales quote and track the history.
Expense reporting, production planning, Inside sales management are some of the features that I like most about this tool. I have touched these features but there are a lot of people in my company who work with a lot more features of NetSuite.
Integration with Travel websites such as Expedia or SAP Concur is not available. This integration would help us keep track of expenses across various websites.

NetSuite is easy to use and intuitive. Compared to other accounting software. I used to use SAP and to be efficient you had to memorize countless t-codes and go through dozens of awkward screens. You can become semi-efficient in NetSuite in a matter of days or even hours. It is cloud based and fully integrates with other important business software like Adaptive Planning.
NetSuite has an eCommerce option that will track visitor information on your company's website and automatically import the data into the CRM software. NetSuite CRM is very user friendly. The program is clean and easy to navigate.
It doesn't have live chat support, nor does it have a social CRM application.

NetSuite is being used for all of our financial transactions and reporting. In addition, NetSuite serves as our ERP and CRM system. The entire customer lifecycle, from lead generation through opportunities, quotes, sales orders, billing, collection, and customer service provisioning is done utilizing NetSuite as our one tool for all.
Good search capabilities over competitors like sap business one and Microsoft dynamics nav Centralizes historic customer data and available for inquiries Automates the processes and eliminates unnecessary paperwork.
Cannot export pdf and customize look and feel without using scripting and xml Need to expand accessibility to external input

I have been working for more than a year with NetSuite. Having used SAP, JD Edwards and other accounting and ERP software in the past, I can confidently say that NetSuite is by far the most complete, easiest to use and easiest to report out of. Apart from the fact that it allows yo to create automations or workflows for virtually everything your business needs. NetSuite controls and features and functionality are outstanding for this fully cloud-based solution.
Fully customizable to the business needs!
The learning curve could be a little high, but once you learn the basics is super easy to use.

Overall it is good and rich in features, except when you are using it for medium data.
1. Fast and responsive UI, easy to use 2. Integration between different Netsuite functions is good 3. Perfect for multiple industries especially services
1. For CPG customers with huge volume of data, it has less features (e.g. compared to SAP). E.g. there is no option to have partial/residual payment application option 2. Deductions management can definitely be improved by introducing more features

Netsuite is a great out-of-the-box ERP. The base ERP package offers everything you need to get an average business running -- in the cloud. The implementation can be very quick and straightforward or a real nightmare. The system is not intuitive to understand, but it is not overly complex. Customizations (even simple ones) require more effort than they ought to take. My advice for those scoping out...
Out-of-the-box functionality Ease of use Cloud, cloud, cloud! Overall very stable platform Fully customizable* API allows for endless integrations
Implementation can be a nightmare depending on who you get and how proactive you are in advocating for your needs. Lots of customization options, but you will need a good hire or a big wallet for the Netsuite Solutions Consultants. Not simple for your average non-tech user to understand all of the system functions UI is not pretty Support is lacking -- better of troubleshooting on your own unless you want to shell out (a lot of) money for the mostly useless support/consultants.

Netsuite is basically SAP for the small guy. Setting up takes some work but in a minimum amount of time we had a complete view of our business and customers. Major companies that I work with are always surprised by the data and reports I can easily get off the system.
Upgrades can sometime interfere with customization's we have done. Overall the support is good but it is off shore. More recently they have limited the amount of people the will support which was never discuss when we bought into the system. So changing rules seems to be an issue.

Netsuite fits perfect into mid-sized or even some small businesses that are mature in their processes so they can make the most of the initial setup and roll out. The cloud-based environment offers the ability to use the software from anywhere with just an internet connection. It allows integration of information from multiple departments which is then displayed in a pretty neat interface. However, it is difficult to setup with the Netsuite consultants and initial training is expensive.

NetSuite is good ERP system for small scale industries and those who don't want to spend alot on infrastructure and use Oracle Cloud.
Its an world class ERP system available on cloud and that is on Oracle cloud. All the departments are well integrated module wise.
Its cost and then limited(minimum package) features are still not helping enough so have to go for the higher versions.
