First of all its a straight forward set up which is very easy to use and i personally happy with its UI. We can back up all the transactions and invoice generated or sale-purchase orders.

Microsoft SharePoint is very user friendly, easy to use and deploy. It has great abilities to enable simultaneous access to the same content and enables real time update among collaborators.

I guess if I had to say anything negative it is that I have not had formal training in using OnBase and could learn more about its newer features (so user error or lack of learning more on my part).

What I don't like about the software is that it is hard to navigate. Getting from different screens can have you lost and unsure of how to get back to your original location.

Cons

Occassionally I will have errors when creating Sharepoint pages– such as the inability to change the column count, insert pictures, etc.

Sometimes it's difficult to set up some of the templates and trasks assigmements. Also when some of the rights are restricted we dont always know we the owner of the platform/documents are/is.

Pros

Great for providing a structured data and document management solution to your organization through your intranet. Also, a proven developed solution that integrates well with other solutions such as Hyland OnBase.

Cons

The workflows are basic and limited to emails notification. Mostly utilizes eforms and document management is basic. Need developer knowledge to stretch the application and get the most out of it.
