Pros

The product does what it is supposed to do and the support is very good. QWare provides excellent value for our investment.
Q Ware CMMS has been a very easy program to integrate throughout the various departments in the school districts. The program itself is user friendly and the customer service has been outstanding.
The teaching and support staff love the feedback, and I have a much better accountability of my maintenance staff; the jobs they do; and the time it takes to complete those tasks.

Pros

Upkeep is great at helping us compile our facility management information in one central location that is easily accessible to different users in ways that are suitable for them.
The tracking for the work orders is super convenient and thorough and allows for reporting to be super easy and helps track problem areas or where money should be spent.
This software is a fantastic tool for monitoring assets, organizing work orders, and preparing your squad's schedule.

Cons

Before Q Ware CMMS, I would be stopped in the hall every 10 feet. Someone would have a crisis that needed immediate attention.
User manual documentation is weak and lacks information; insufficient time on our end to fully utilize and implement in PM module; processing response time in certain areas is slow.
My issues are mostly internal problems with our server, not with Q Ware so I really don't have any cons.

Cons

In some areas there are connection issues with no or limited internet/phone signals. This is an issue when uploading and even some data as been lost.
I have to admit, sometimes the error is on our end and it is going to junk mail.
It has been difficult to learn the use of upkeep. I believe that a mandatory intro training should be required when a new user is to use upkeep.

Finding a CMMS is a hard job, you will find on the market from simple to complex options, upkeep give you the easy way to communicate and organize your team with the most mobile friendly platform. In my first month with upkeep my maintenance productivity had increased a 40%.

Pros

The most user-friendly CMMS, easy to programming and scheduling. Handling requests is a high benefit.

Cons

There a limited hierarchy for assets and subassets.

Great CMMS, particularly for smaller non-profits

The software itself is great, user friendly, and feature rich. I love the printable QR codes for asset management and inventory tracking purposes. I understand the need to monetize and the reasons for the business plan pricing, however I feel like they're potentially pushing away future larger accounts by not giving an option for smaller organizations to use the full feature set of the business plus plan. When I signed up the premium option didn't require 5 users. This shift has me evaluating other options again.

Pros

Modern, mobile, feature rich, easy to use, non-profit discount, support, documentation, new features, request portal, scalable. After purchasing our first property we needed a CMMS that would grow with our organization. Upkeep is a modern mobile CMMS that provides deep functionality and scalability.

Cons

The business plus plan requires 5 users. I would love to use the advanced features of the business plus plan but as I'm the only user, it doesn't make financial sense for our small non-profit. One of the best things about upkeep compared to some other CMMS solutions is the pricing, particularly with the non-profit discount. However not having the option to use all of the features without paying for 5 users means I'm evaluating other options already.

Pros

Upkeep is scalable and dependable. It has a sleek and easy-to-use User Interface and their API feature allowed us to provide automated work order generation. Upkeep allows importing and exporting assets, locations, and other data to spreadsheets, making it a breeze to manage our large set of resources.

Cons

Upkeep is relatively new software, but that means their development team was ready to work with us to add customized features we needed.

Great cmms and it seems they are constantly updating it with more features.

Pros

We're on our second year of using upkeep. So far we have mainstreamed our work orders and are building history on our equipment. The ability to take a picture of the equipment that needs to be worked on is valuable. I like the ability to organize and assign parts and vendors to the equipment for easy reference on what belt sizes or oil is needed for that equipment.

Cons

Seems like some of the issues I'm having have to do with training that I need on the system to figure how I can edit some of the work orders. One specific is that once I make a reoccurring work order I can't edit it to not make another work order to close if we don't get to that work order that day. Or keep it open and not create another work order. Otherwise it's been one of the easiest systems I've used.

Being able to use the calendar view as part of our package helped us implement a better and more controlled schedule for our techs.

Pros

The ease of navigation compared to more complex programs like Maximo or SAP makes this a very user friendly CMMS software.

Cons

When building the hierarchy of our equipment not being able to drill the child asset past one level made it cumbersome to add everything in like we wanted to.

A functional CMMS that has a smooth interface with its desktop version and mobile app.

Pros

The mobile interface is by far my favorite feature. We had used other CMMS companies before and always ran into the same problem: the mobile interface. They would claim to have a great mobile website but it was always clunky and difficult to use, especially for people who might not be too proficient with computers (i.e. mechanics, operators, most of the people that would be using the software). However, Upkeep roped me in immediately when they said it was a mobile-first CMMS. Upkeep delivers, with a simple interface that is intuitive to anyone that has used a smartphone before.

Cons

The Meter based work order triggers do not work as I had wished. I wanted Work Orders to generate when the engine hours hit every 250, 500, 1000, 1500, and 2000 hours. For example, at 750 hours, a 250 hour and 500 hour Work Order would generate. However, when I set all of this up, It would generate about 5 work orders for the asset whenever I entered its meter reading.

UpKeep for a Multiple Facility Manufacturer

This the first full CMMS our organization has ever used. UpKeep was chosen after trying a number of CMMS systems against some basic goals. UpKeep is competent, easy to implement, easy to use and has the best Customer Service team

Pros

The customer service is the best! Fast and competent replies to issues and feature requests. Ease of use for everybody. Setup and maintaining the system was intensive since we have over 1000 assets spread out over 6 locations and 13 buildings and UpKeep is fast, easy and simple build the database with. The template uploads helped get us going and the inline editing was a great addition.

Cons

The "View Only" account is a free account. Since we have nearly 50 supervisors and leads, this free account could be the answer for communication and information. They can see open work orders so that they don't double a request. They can see the Preventive Maintenance calendar to plan their production around servicing of the machines. They can see the performance of the maintenance team in their departments....

Pros

i like the cmms feature which is so efficient for maintenance of management systems and this had simplified a lot of work flows in the company

Cons

upkeep is working well for us, i have no feature to dislike for sure for now, may be in future

a CMMS powerful enough for the most seasoned Facility Manager, yet simple enough for the greenest technician.

Pros

UpKeep's simple, straightforward interface hides a beast of a CMMS that could easily be dropped into any facility maintenance program within minutes. ongoing program improvements/features coupled with world class customer support in my opinion set UpKeep far above the competition.

Cons

Over a year maintaining my facility with UpKeep, and have yet to come across something I didn't love.

Best overall usability

Overall, this is the best CMMS we have used. I did sample the top 10 for a year before deciding and upKeep was the best because of easy of use in the field. This software saves time by reducing paperwork and admin tasks.

Pros

I sampled many different CMMS programs and upKeep was the only software that made the cut. This software is actually usable in the field.

Cons

There are a few additional features I would like to see. I would like to be able to set exact permissions per user. the amount of administrative data available to Limited Technician renders some functionality not usable. Not everyone needs a list of all vendors and customers. There needs be a permissions checkbox to limit some access and functionality per user. Depending on how this software is used, it could cause an issue. would you want everyone in your company to have a list of our all your customers and vendors? for this reason. We avoid using some features and have not upgraded to the business package.

Great experience with upkeep so far.

Pros

I like that the software was easy to implement, easy to use, and overall better than other CMMS programs I have used in the past.

Cons

I did not like the way things started with the program as the person who implemented our PM dates put everything in wrong from the way we requested and needed to be fixed.

The fastest way to track work

We have used this soft ware for about 9 month works great and they are always improving the quality of the finished product.

Pros

Easy to set up and functions well, the information we have gained from the software have inproved our profits and check back on extra inventory

Great, Simple and Easy CMMS to use

Overall, we were looking for a simple easy to use cmms, without breaking the bank and Upkeep provided all that.

Pros

Easy with which to upload your data, and the training webinars offered

Cons

On refreshing after any changes, you have to restart from the whole module and not from where you updated, resulting in time delay
