Majorly we can say that Stock Manitenance for Raw Material, Semi Processed Items, Finished Food items entries, variance, costing are managed using Posist Inventory management software. Food cost percentage outlet wise percentage we can check for daily / weekly / monthly. Also managing outlet stock are good.

Pros

We like in Posist Inventory as it is helping us to manage our stocks at warehouse level and outlet level in giving orders to vendors, receiving the stocks, indenting the stocks within the outlets etc are really good to use.

Cons

Reports are at initial stage faced some issue like consumption but now it seems good that are resolved and getting the reports which we require. Apart from this everyghing ok as of now.

I can use this application even from my home as it is browser(web) based application.I have some requirements too:The automatic purchase price is not catching from the last purchased items transaction.And Purchase order also we are not getting the last price.We need to have an automated rate calculation on our purchase based on the last transacted value

Pros

We are able to use the internal indent properly as all the cost centers are raising the request and we are able to fulfill it.Closing stock values are matching.

Cons

Nothing as of now everything is going good.

Posist for Inventory Management at Ammar Cafe

Overall experience is very good, we are using the application for below mentioned.1. Making Purchase Entry2. Making Physical Stock count.3. Capturing any wastages.4. Transfer goods from one store to another through stock transfer or through indenting.5. We are also using reports to check out daily stats.

Pros

The inventory module module shows real time stats of all the items present in the store/kitchen.Other best thing is that the variance is not transferred to future dates once we make a Physical Stock Entry.

Cons

All is good, the module works well for making purchase entry, wastage entry, checking reports etc.No problem have been identified till date and we are able to use the application very smoothly.

Managing Inventory at outlet level and warehouse level was the major challenge for us before we were in manual, so that entire process made easy at all levels. Reports can be verified anytime any where for outlets and warehouse. Cloud software resolve this type of queries for the users.

Pros

Inventory related all operations are good while comparing other Restaurant software. indent process, Purchase order, Reports are good to work and can get the good result.

Cons

Some times user get confusing on entering the stocks in different units and we are not able to resolve that in easy way. In reports based on sales forecasting required. Like this some small updation expected.

Managing Inventory for Kitchen and Food Cost reporting Purchase Order Request, PO, GRN. All the above modules are used widely and from those modules the data flows to reports. These reports are used for business decisions.

Pros

The system is having all modules covering all the processes. The dashboard is very user-friendly and easy to access. Customer Support is excellent and on time. We are communicating with [sensitive content hidden] for the support. During the support he has helped a lot to bring the system live and running. Academy is having full length tutorial videos and easy to navigate to individual topics.

Cons

Sync takes more time and for every update, we have to publish and update. Settings icons exists at two levels, one is at the enterprise level and second setting is at the entity level. There is slight difficulty in navigating to the respective settings sections. Other than this, the rest is fine.

Purchasing has been optimized, Accurate food costs help us to drive Discounts and offers, This decision can be made by Ops managers now , it actually helps to empower our ops managers and sr chefs, as they don't have to wait for Owners' confirmation to drive discounts.

Pros

Integration between Recipe, Raw materials, packing materials, and all other elements he's us to arrive at accurate food cost.

Cons

Reports use many industry-specific terminologies, which are often difficult to understand. A brief pop-up in each column while placing the mouse, would help us to understand the meaning better.

Very Good Software to Manage Inventory Module

As we expand our outlets, this software is handy for us to maintain the inventory within outlets and the base kitchen. Also, new outlets starting or installing the software are happening quickly and can immediately begin operations.

Pros

Good software to maintain inventory for Restaurant operations. Starting from Orders to the vendor, stock receiving, Stock issuing to the kitchen, production entry, consumption, wastage entry and physical stock variance-like required options are available.

Cons

As of now nothing to say like or dislike, but some features are required, like auto indent based on reorder etc., required.In enhancement, if this is taken, it would be helpful for our operations.

Overall Product is good for us to manage inventory management, stock maintenance at the central kitchen, outlets stock tracking monthly, finding variance, and correcting the store at outlet level like options we benefit in posist.

Pros

We have been using the Posist Stock module for two years. The inventory module is perfect for managing our inventory not only for our central kitchen but also for our outlets on indents, and production, like having good options.

Cons

Some options like hiding prices in reports, and some additional logs, as prices changed for the items, are like options required; we are already in discussion with posist team.

Posist Stock Inventory Module

As this software is on cloud base, we don't require seperate server for it. We are able to generate consolidate reports for pan India level e.g. Consumption Report, Purchase Report, Issue Report.

Pros

Enterprise vendor & tax mapping is very helpful to use for entire outlets at one time. It is very easy to use for ground level staff. As we are having multiple restaurants, It is helping is to generate consolidate report for all units at one time.

Cons

It is taking longer time to synce data after publinshing on enterprise level. Require all reports date rang more than 1 year, as currently it is 3 months only.

Reports are excellent and easy to understand for the management about the all-in words and outwards raw material. Accordingly, we can plan our purchase as requested by the kitchen and other departments. The system is perfect and helps make the correct purchase and sales.

Pros

The indent process is excellent. We can easily do the outlet transfers. The stock reports regarding indent are beneficial. We can use it for reporting to management at the same time consumption in real-time is very good to see. We can analyze our consumption of raw materials daily.

Cons

Backdate entry should be more than ten days. Need to the system reports generate are multiple units selection so that we can check every item's description and check various units.

Good Application for the Posist MMS

Reporting part is very useful easy to track the closing for the stock for all the departments in a single window as well for all location easily to find the closing store and easy to make the purchase for the store.

Pros

Stock Entry is very easy to do daily and help to manage with different cost center same time, we can transfer the item as per the requirement, and we can move the raw material from one location to another location.

Cons

Backdate entry should be more than 15 days, and the system gets slow sometimes for the backdate reporting, and there is snyc issue with the system after every entry need to wait for 5 to 10 mints which make the difficulty in transferring the correct item as per the requirement for the department.

Posist Inventory Management solves issues like report generation, new outlet creation in simple steps, and automation of reports. Food costing outlet wise can be checked on daily, weekly and monthly.

Pros

The best about Posist inventory module are Managing the inventory, Stock Maintenance, Report analysis, Recipe management, and Costing. Some more options are good.

Cons

Sometimes syncing the entries takes more time at the outlet level. Significantly less of a dislike, so there are no significant issues in the Inventory module overall in the product.

Pros

There is a lot of various report they provide and easy to access. Report with many pictures help the team to get in an information to learn and study business growth and chance of improvement.

Cons

Some issues need to sort out with regard of pick-up items and corrected allocation of all inventory ingredients. Access to get the correct stock movement will be better to add on.

Daily Purchases, material transfer between multiple deployments and within the deployment between main store to multiple cost centers, maintaining daily wastage's and matching day to day basis closing.

Pros

POSist is very good software to manage the day to day basis inventory and we can transfer materials from one outlet to another outlet and its user friendly software with many features. We are getting a good support from implementation team and they guide us very well.

Cons

There is nothing to dislike into POSist inventory software. It's a very good software for hospitality industries and we are using it on daily basis and getting better result.

Using this software, we can manage the outlet's orders and supply and receive items using Indent options. Even within the outlet, the same process can be followed to issue stock from store to kitchen like order, supply and receive. Physical inventory can be entered, and variance can be checked monthly, weekly or daily.

Pros

Using this software, we are managing our inventory for multiple outlets. One outlet and multiple outlets can also be controlled from one location. Stock Receiving, Stock Transferring, Stock usage and stock closing can get the details by doing the transactions.

Cons

We need multiple user ids to do entries for other outlets, but we require one user id to do the transaction for all outlets. Apart from this, there are no significant issues or dislikes to mention.

Strong & Stabilized Inventory System for F&B Industry !!!

Overall Experience was great as we enjoyed working with their Implementing Team who are highly Qualified in this field and knowledgeable with Good Experience. It Took Good Amount of Time in Initial setup but now its completely stabilized and on Auto-Pilot. Till Date Team Heads are in touch and support us in Various ways may be a query clarification or a Process definition.

Pros

Out of Many Features that system have i liked most the centralized control on inventory movement across various stores with complete Traceability. System has a detailed Level Recepie Configuration for the Food Produced and Managing the Real Time consumption of Liquor Items which are directly associated from your FOH Billing App. It also covers all other Basic Functions of Material management at Various Department Levels.

Cons

Setting up the App Takes Good Amount of Time and Many Excel Work and in some of the Master Screens Edits are Not Allowed, so user are left with No Choices but to Delete that thing and redo.
