Cons

All 10 of our restaurants use ScheduleFly and we can’t imagine our work life without it. Scheduling was surveyed as one of the worst things our managers had to deal with - this software changed that.

Because our theater uses project-based cost accounting, it's frustrating that I cannot assign a customer or job code to a given shift. I prefer a solution with an integrated time-clock function.

The absolute worst part about this software has to do with the roles that employees can be assigned: there is no "training" option under the roles that I created.

Also, the wage predictions are hit or miss. I also only get half of the notifications I should, and sometimes that app refuses to post pictures to the log.

Prior to 7Shifts, we were still hand writing schedules and using (not successfully) ScheduleFly as our application. After some extensive research for online sites/apps that cater specifically to the restaurant industry (small pool there), we found 7shifts. And...yay! 7Shifts has been such a resourceful tool for our business and has made our scheduling and HR processes more organized and efficient! The app is extremely user friendly and offers several ways to communicate to our staff. Being that communication is imperative in this industry, we LOVE that! Thank you for continuing improve the site/app by listening to our needs and feedback!

Makes scheduling so much easier!

We were using Schedulefly prior to signing up with 7shifts and have found everything about 7shifts so much easier to use. The interface is much more user friendly and easier to read, you have many more options for reporting, and most importantly, my management staff gets a better understanding of their labour costs while they're actually putting together the schedule due to the nifty 'Weekly Budget...
