It has literally been the worst experience the last 18 -20 months. we have experienced tremendous growth and while doing so needed extra training, help and some new features---0 help with decent customer service, their words are "here is a manual, read it"
keeping up with customers---only problem is you better know the program well and they are not willing to give you the training necessary for you to know it---well that is without charging EXTRA!!!
the cost, the contract and worst yet the CUSTOMER SERVICE

Satisfied with the ease of scheduling and tracking activity.
Scheduling and service request are simple. Payment posting.
Help pages don't go into enough details or provide samples. Confusing terminology. Numerous Reports, but do not always have what is needed. Excludes some common sense simple features.

From a business stand point, it's tricky because not a lot of pest oriented programs provide this service, but the platform just feels very antiquated. There is plenty of room to grow, just would like to see it grow faster because in 7-8 years, it doesn't seem like much has changed. It's pretty much what I remember it to be.
I like how I can set up a recurring service.
That is product is not at all easy to customize, the level of difficulty it is to get it customized with support, and the ease of use. You are constantly clicking around and having to go back to the beginning if you can't find what you were looking for.

This was a horrible, insanely expensive mistake from start to finish. They told me my cards would transfer over to sell me (they didn’t almost putting my out of business), they made tons of promises that were not kept, they were WAY more expensive that sold as you keep having to pay for other functionalities to make anything work. Functionalities didn’t work leading to loss of customers. Routing was so bad we had to pay a full time employee to run it. Then they hold your data and cards hostage and try to make it impossible to leave, sending me a bill for over $40k to leave and won’t give me my credit cards for up to 8 weeks.

I was a pest pac user from 2008 to 2016. Over the years little changed in the way of improvements. It was exciting to have a software that had the ability to invoice customers, compile great reports, schedule customers, track leads, process credit cards, process ACH, track commission, connect third party collections partners, track employees, provide up to date state forms, and had communication...
Mature company that was a been in the service industry for a while.
Slow unresponsive tech support, too expensive, feature do not work or work well. To use basic feature you have to pay for add on services, the billing department sucks. The company does not respect the fact that they support other business and the software is vital to the operation of a business. The system goes down for hours at a time and when they do system updates

I am impressed with the customer service aspect of this software. If I encounter a problem I can not solve, customer service is very efficient addressing my issue in a timely manner. I find this software fairly easy to use.
When processing a credit card, often the link to Element will glitch, this is frustrating because it will process the transaction, but does not reflect in PestPac.

My experience as a user is that I am having to come up with work arounds for the Pest Pac system short comings. The advantages that I see is that the software is evolving into a more customer friendly system.
The customer service people are very nice and very willing to help when they are able.
The limitations and some functions of the software.

This software is fairly easy to use once you learn the basics. I really like that it's functions are customizable to meet the needs of the company using it. It's great for retaining customer information and keeping up with service history and future service needs.
I've used a different software that had a better plan for mapping and scheduling, but lacked greatly in other areas. Adding better routing and mapping functionality is available, but adding it costs more. I don't know if adding it will do what I would like. It would be nice to see all customers with service due this month on the map at the same time. This would allow better customization of the routes each month.

The software is reliable with very little down time over the years. Customer service has been helpful.
Overpriced by a lot. You have to pay for every module while other companies include everything in one package. The interface is outdated compared to others out there. The contract auto-renews for one year, the modules also auto-renew, but if you have purchased them at different times then there is no clean break to get out. You will have to pay the remainder of the contract on the modules that have not expired yet. Very bad way of doing business.

The product pretty much has everything you need on the main screen, such as the customer history, open service orders, future service orders and also cancellations. The e-mail capability actually works for sending notices or reports. The customer service so far has been great. I also like the map location being right on the main screen when you bring up the address which is very helpful. There is a very quick response for any questions or help needed.
I am a fairly new customer to the program, but so far I am very pleased with their customer support, which I think is a very important factor, so therefore there is nothing negative I can say about the vendor. There is a lot of back end entry that you need to enter, but I find that I enter it as needed. For example county codes that need to populate, or chemicals tied into a particular service. Other than that I cannot really cannot find anything I don't like about the program.

Not good and when talking to customer service they were not helpful.
Not much I like about this program, everything is extra.
To even learn about their program you have to pay money, to add any feature you have to pay money. The program scheduling doesn't always work right, throws things off to a totally different day.

Decent program, widely used nut could be more streamlined and user-friendly
Has many features and functions, lots of settings to choose from and ability to go mobile is very useful
Difficult to navigate through and set up. Customer service doesn't always respond in a timely manner and can sometimes be vague in their response

Customer tracking. Tracking lead sources and close rates.
Ease in scheduling; access to customer information including past service history, billing, etc. Easy to use screens to quickly provide customer feedback.

"I've been using PestPac since 2004 and have experienced many many changes and upgrades. Marathon Data and Work Wave do an excellent job of keeping PestPac efficient in maintaining industry specific records and reporting with continuous upgrades and listening to the suggestions of their customers who have used the program long term."
I feel like at times I know the program better than the customer service agents but that has come from many years of experience with PestPac.

It’s been a long learning curve but I am very satisfied with everything, Has been instrumental in streamlining the business.
Being able to email customers invoices and arrival times, auto billing, the mobile app.
A ton of options, technically its a good thing but can get very confusing. Customer service makes up for it, always happy to help with any questions.

Great! We use it for everything from billing, to service, to reporting, routing, and GPS.
PestPac offers all the features that we need to run our business and it happens in 1 program. That means 1 program to train on and 1 program to administer.
It is an expensive product, especially when using all the various features. Some of the modules are a work in progress, however they are still full price.
