Get for small business

I was with SS for 3 years and they worked great. I wish they had more features but that's what makes their cost so so cheap compared to others.

Incredible Customer Support

The team at Starboard Suite does a phenomenal job responding to inquiries and making schedule adjustments for us and does so extremely quickly. This is great for us when we want to make pricing changes, add new locations, or offer specials. The software is easy to use and the functionality is great for our customers. We shopped around quite a bit and not only was Starboard Suite an incredible deal, they were also the easiest to communicate with and had by far the best customer service. If you are shopping for a scheduling software to use, look no further. These guys are the best!

Cons

I would like to be able to make mass changes to mass event adds that I had done in the past.

Easy to use and very helpful

It helps organize and give a quick overview of the tours that are happening throughout the year at the company I work for.

Pros

I love how it is now colour coated so all of our tours look differently and it is easier to tell what you are looking at.

Cons

I dislike how you cannot see the price of tours without going through the booking of a tour. I honestly cannot think of many things that I dislike regarding the software.

Grateful to Starboard Suite for streamlining our operations!

We researched 7 other reservation platforms prior to committing to Starboard Suite. Not only did we like their pitch the best (because of their amazing customer service, ease of use, and customizability) - but as a HUGE added bonus they were also the cheapest option out of all of the alternatives. If you're not willing to charge your customer a service fee and want to absorb the cost of using a booking platform into your business costs, it can add up quite quickly as many of the similar services charge a large percentage fee.

Pros

The customer service is excellent. They go above and beyond to ensure that their clients are happy with the system. They are quick to respond if you have questions, and they're willing to adjust the platform's features at your request (within reason). This has made all the difference to us, as we feel like the system can be customized to our needs. Understandably, every company will have different...

Cons

If I had to give some small critiques - not 100% of everything is as customizable as I had hoped prior to signing on, and it's not quite as 'pretty' as I'd like it to be. We just went through a rebrand and I would have loved to have made everything align with our new aesthetic. I also find the calendar to be rather bulky, and find myself missing our simpler calendar from our previous reservation platform....

Private Day Charter Company Review of Starboard

Absolutely excellent, I have already recommended it to several other charterers I know that use FareHarbor as I believe it is a superior product.

Pros

There are a lot of features that will allow us to grow overtime without needing to find a new alternative. We are a large ticket price company, so the BIGGEST benefit of the software/company is the pricing structure not gouging my customers.

Cons

So far I haven't found anything that I have had an issue with in general, while im sure some may exist my overall experience has been positive.

Fantastic Reservation System Software

We are very happy that we went with Starboard Suite after reviewing dozens of options. The cost, features, support and ease of use for our customers and staff has all been very positive.

Pros

The support is highly responsive and always exceedingly helpful. They are constantly developing and adding new features as well.

Cons

Some functions are not completely intuitive for someone who isn't highly technologically minded to access. They are there and actually easy to use, but sometimes I need to be pointed in the right direction. Luckily the support is there to do that quickly.

Great ticketing solution for tour company

I would definitely recommend to others.

Pros

I like working with smaller companies that have excellent customer service. I was tired of having to explain my business and needs over and over again to account reps, which is not Starboard’s business model. Starboard markets to boat tour companies, which is not what my tour company does, but it has everything I need. I’m grateful to have found a ticketing home here. Nice, thoughtful people and robust updates. And at a lower price that doesn’t worry me when passing along ticket costs along to customers.

Cons

Starboard is a hands off system in terms of setup, so doing this during low season is key.

Sophisticated software that is user friendly.

I am impressed with the Starboard Suites Team and their ability to work with the nuances of our company and provide solutions to our specific needs. So far the software has helped our small business streamline reservations, organize our inventory, and open up the ability for multiple people to view our calendar at once. I'm really happy with the software.

Pros

The ability to access your calendar or reservation system from any page. Great features like editing multiple events at one time, or the simplicity of quickly making changes to one reservation. Any request to help personalize the software have been quickly addressed and created for our needs.

Cons

Features that we cannot edit ourselves like the Base Price (but that is a quick email request).

Awesome Platform!

Very ease to use and it automates the whole booking system in one platform.

Pros

This platform is very customizable and easy to use, it's really all you need and their support and customer service is amazing! Always answering right away and doing their best to please and solve the clients problems, even creating new programming to solve my specific needs. I would recommend that to anyone, except for my competition, of course!!!

Cons

It is a little bit more expensive than i was willing to pay, specially considering we are a new business, but so far so good.

Pros

Extremely intuitive for our clients and reservation agents. The customer service agents are extremely good about getting back to us.

Cons

Fairly expensive. It is a great software, but the per person charge takes a fair amount off of our bottom line.

I learned more about reservation programs.

Pros

How easy it is to navigate and correct errors. I love that I can edit so many minor things like special cost per time of day or insert special discounts my way.

Cons

There was one part that wasn't clear why I had to maneuver through the steps a certain way but it wasn't hard since that's the way I was taught.

GAME CHANGER

This product is a game changer for us. The team at Starboard Suite worked to help us customize the platform to realize the profit potential of the company and provide a valuable operational tool to ensure that our asset utilization is maximized. Very little effort to get up and running, training is first class, and the software itself is extremely intuitive and user friendly. Would recommend it to anyone.

Pros

Intuitive. Easy to use. Adaptable.

Cons

You can double book the vessel...but understand this is already being worked on. More expensive than some of the other options but feel it is good value.

It's like having my own private reservation program.

Starboard Suite is easy to use, affordable and includes a variety of features that cover almost every situation. I have used 3-4 different programs over the years and Starboard Suite is the best. Many other programs I have looked at did not match the quality and feel of my website. Starboard Suite worked very hard to make the transition to their site seamless and unnoticeable. The best feature is probably the customer service. It is timely and understandable. They also work hard to help me customize features to meet my needs.

Great system and getting better

We were in need of an online reservation system that was low cost and quick to set up. StarboardSuite filled that need perfectly. The account management team helped us get set up quickly and trained us in the easy to use system in about an hour. Whenever we had a question, they are quick to respond - whether by email or phone. They're a great team to work with!

The simplistic interface could be enhanced to work more intuitively on tablet and touch devices.

An affordable, semi-customizable calendaring system that integrates well with dinner cruises/events.

Customers are less frustrated when trying to book a cruise. This is a very big deal...

Pros

It has made it easier for our customers to book with us by streamlining the checkout process. The cruises can be easily sorted by day, event type, or customer. Built-in manifest and food choice lists are also a big improvement over our last system.

Cons

It has a nice clean look and layout, but it would be nice if it were more elegant. I realize this is subjective...

Great find

I have been with Starboard Suite for over 3 years now and have nothing to complain about. My experience with Starboard Suites has been nothing but great. Every Time I have something that I think will work better for me I email them and they respond in no time and then they attack my issue as if it was their main focus. Since using Starboard Suites my conversion rates have gone up and my customers have told me great things about using the booking process we put together. If you are looking for a booking company to treat you like one of their own then Starboard Suites is or you, and you can not beat the price for what they offer.
