Synchroteam Features In Depth

Scheduling & Dispatching

Synchroteam has designed its scheduling screens to make it easy for front desk personnel to quickly assign technicians to new jobs based on their real-time availability, professional competencies, and optimized efficiency. Technicians have the option to examine their daily schedules in detail from their mobile phones, as well.

Use Synchroteam’s unique ScheduleAssist tool to optimize the way your team schedules incoming jobs. ScheduleAssist analyzes existing schedules and suggests the best time for new jobs based on factors like location (travel distance) and the skill of the technician. Synchroteam also offers a way for workers to subscribe to live calendar feeds to get scheduling updates at all times.

Geolocation with GPS

Keeping up with field service workers is no easy task. Synchroteam has found a way to minimize the complexity through geolocation with GPS tracking. When emergencies occur, in-office personnel can pinpoint the location of field service workers and send technicians who are already in the area. It even integrates live traffic information into its maps, showing any traffic conditions that could delay a technician as he or she drives to the jobsite.

Synchroteam’s mapping technology shows the real-time location of technicians as they move about the city. Turn on the “To Schedule” overlay, and you can schedule jobs directly from the map. You’ll be able to see how far each technician is from the next job site, adjusted automatically based on actual traffic conditions.

Managing Field Workers

Organization is everything for organizations with mobile workers. Synchroteam keeps jobs and records organized by filing them into virtual buckets based on the current status. Users can view today’s jobs, late jobs, upcoming jobs, recurring jobs, and jobs that still need to be scheduled. They can also search listings and launch tasks from each record.

Use Synchroteam’s job counter to get details on any late jobs or upcoming jobs. You can find out why a job is delayed and resolve whatever issues are preventing it from being scheduled. Customer portals are also an effective way to give customers insights into their accounts, with reports and job histories that can be shared online in a secure, read-only format.

Job Reports

Detailed reports are a key component to any organized workspace. Synchroteam has made job reports a key feature, with the ability for users to tailor reports based on their own unique needs and specifications. Photos and signatures can be added to reports in the field.

Generate new job reports based on the type of job or the customer whose jobs you’re referencing. You can structure the job process, select field types, specify conditions, and define private fields within your reports. Reports are completely compatible with mobile, allowing you to define certain parameters and prevent jobs from being completed until all necessary information has been collected for the report.

Cons

Need Mac but 3rd Party Calendar Syncing, Accounting Integration, Client Website Integration, Email Integration, and Mobile Access are worth it.

I has improve our daily operations in comparison to the manual old fashion way we used to have.

We used to make maintenance reports by sending emails to a unique account, but it was so unpractical to followup, so moving to Synchroteam was a big improvement, but there are still a few things that could be better.

Pros

This software really help us to centralize all the maintenance reports in one single place and makes the management and technicians jobs easier.

Cons

I don't like the fact that we have issues with the android app in some phones, we also had several issues that lasted a couple of days, so the support was not that fast, also you cannot have users with multiple roles, only technicians can use the mobile app, the kpis reporting is very limited, and it doesn't have a real time gps tracking of the techs driving routes.

- Huge time-saving capability over paper-based job and direct input invoice processes - Improves accuracy - All internet-based and paper-free, no infrastructure required - Value for money - Easy to use and effective mobile app for field-based technicians - We can create simple, custom job report templates that fit our business - Job validation / customer invoicing via the desktop is simple and quick - We can automatically email PDF copies of jobs and invoices to our customer - Simple invoicing export CSV file for manipulation and import into accounts systems - Our customers can access secure online portal to view their validated jobs and invoices - Potential to calculate technicians' hours and pay through the new Timesheets module - Support team on hand to resolve any problems

Cons

It's a young product and so there are still a few things that could be refined, and we haven't really felt able to use the inventory module yet, but this doesn't detract from the great benefits gained from using Synchroteam

1) Reporting options are good. 2) Auto-Refresh is nice. 3) The fact that the mobile app is pretty solid is a win for my group.

Cons

If multiple customers could be a part of a Building group, then edits, reporting, and more granular reports could be generated. 2) Would like a more robust inventory./asset management area in STeam, to be able to track status changes/dates, add/used/removed dates, etc. 3) Actual GPS map capture looks CRAZY!

there are few things I'm looking forward to be implemented: 1. service contract with SLA 2. reports on SLA met or not met 3. recurring scheduling which can already be assign to service technician 4. report on activities 5. reports per clients and type of clients 6. every time i revise a report all the previous data related to jobs is not showing in the report.

The first time I saw it I wasn't sure what to think. Dark brown and orange with blue text? It's fine, you get use to it and it works. I like the way it looks now, somehow comforting.

The best feature I admire is my engineers can use the mobile app in offline mode means no need to worry about internet.

Mobile app can be used in offline mode, schedule engineers according to Skills, earliest arrival or shortest distance, numerous free connectors, customer portal, import jobs, customer, site etc, more efficient to use, job report are super easy

Not great, not terrible

Price was the winning factor to why I started using this product. The sales team did a good job of presenting the potential of the product but a poor job of explaining the shortcomings that would become discovered in my first month of using it. Overall I'm not terribly happy with the investment and I won't be using it long-term. Unsure what I will move to going forward.

Pros

It's quite customizable, so if the features are useful the level to which you can get with the tools such as reports can be quite the positive experience.

Cons

I've run into some glitches/issues when setting up reports that don't function as intended. The workflow for setting up very dynamic reports is terrible.

ease of use and supported with no problems. So far we have been glitch free. The couple of small user type problems The support staff has walked us through them. The pricing structure is very nice. its give and take with service software being you get some advantages with some and less or more with others. Synchroteam is a great software and functions as expected

Cons

cant think of anything, so if i have to pick something it would be the problem we have if i leave the dashboard open too long then try to add a job it allows me to add it but it wont save, kinda waists time, but i have learned to refresh then add jobs.

The bad part you have to try the software to see how it works so you tie up hundred of hours inputting your data. Then reality hits when you call support OMG this company support is in Paris France, So it's message them only and wait !

OK fit all field service software at a fair price

Cons

NO SUPPORT ! Take it or leave it attitude - They don't care about improving the software - It's just about the collection of the subscription. in fact, I had a Credit Card fail due to a fraud charge on the card and I get an email my account has been terminated. and they turned it off

Don't waste your time. Support is the most important part of the software and this company has none! This error will cost me hundreds of hours and thousand of dollars to move my data

Outside these hours, support is performed by teams around the world in order to meet the needs of different time zones, and one of those other teams is indeed in Paris, France. My apologies that this situation caused you difficulties.

Really easy to use - intuitive design. Missing some functionality that would help.

Much better scheduling, ease of use. Really easy for all levels within our organization to see and arrange jobs.

Pros

Ease of Use, design, GUI - mobility features.

Cons

Still designing some functions for it - can't have in-field techs make some of the necessary changes to orders, have to have a dispatcher type role to fulfill it.
