Pros

Business objects allow you to enforce strict data schemas so you can be confident that inbound data meets the Syspro standards - you only want good data going in.
Right out of the box Syspro implements many best practise recommendations and for most businesses that's a great start. You can get up and running very quickly without having to customize Syspro.
The online help is robust, and the online forums are available for technical help.

Pros

Superb Equipment Search Functionality. Superb Customizable Event Workflow Configuration.
The documentation is comprehensive and very well detailed. Their customer support has been outstanding the few times I've needed it.
Overall, it is a great product and very user friendly. I would recommend the software to others.

Cons

Upon doing so, many users lost permissions. We have a service contract with Syspro (directly, not through a VAR), and they told us it should not have done that.
I found it at first a little hard to know how to use it, I found I would accidentally delete fields in my search area screen and not know how I did it and how to get it back.
Whilst they may be automated to run in the evening there are times we need to run them during the day (for example after a power failure at a remote Branch). This may cause 20+ minutes of downtime.

Cons

We are still experiencing problems with backups and templates.
I work in Gage InSite which is an older version of the software. In 2018, were finally updating, I'll let you know how that goes.
Paperless system, 21 CFR part 11 compliance. Reduction data entry errors.
