Awesome customer service advocate - Great tool

Allows our company to save money on a full time receptionist and allows for easier check in along with a nicer way to have guests notify employees of their arrival to our building

Pros

I appreciate the ease of checking people into the system - from the back end the set up in the system is relatively easy once you walk through it with your CSA and I also like the various settings for each type of visitor. Love that you get an email and a text when someone arrives. The UI is easy and straight forward.

Cons

There are bugs like with any software - Sometimes the notifications are slow to appear on email or text. I would be helpful if the software had a feature to let the guest know that the host has received a notification and will be with them in a few minutes. We've had a few hiccups with the DocuSign feature - I know that's not part of your software but maybe they could do an update on the integration? At times the visitor cant get past the DocuSign page and the system freezes for a few mins and wont let them complete the check in.

Traction Guest Support

Not being a user I cannot really provide an overall experience that would be worthy of the product.

Pros

I am involved in the installation and support of the Traction Guest software, not the selection and frequent use of it. That being said I am most familiar with the technical support of the software and have found the tech support group to be excellent in all of the times I have contacted them. I would not hesitate to recommend the Traction Guest software solely on the basis of their technical support staff.

Cons

I can only say that my company is least happy with the amount of time that guest logins are maintained "out of the box" ~ that being 30 days. According to tech support this can be increased, but there is some kind of process involved with making that case with the Traction Guest developers.

It's been really easy to implement and use, has come with a great set of features, and their staff has always been a pleasure to work with.

Pros

The features, particularly the experience editor to manage the front end, are very robust and easy to use for both beginners and advanced users.

Cons

More advanced reporting systems on sign-in data from the Web interface would be great.

Not only is TractionGuest simple to use, but it is also the most customizable platform on the market

Seamless sign in process

Pros

-Most important- The entire sign in process is customizable. You as a client, will be able to alter the system at your own discretion - The Admin GUI/ controls is thoroughly designed. You have full control of assigning different permissions to different user accounts as you see fit. For example, in our company (Unilever), we have accounts set for security, for management and for IT support (admin) - You can alter the sign in process per Ipad. No restrictions on buildings/company sites -Clean Dashboard Controls -Beautiful sign in application (for Ipad) -Great Customer Service -Dev teams are willing to work with you on your specific product requests -Lots of training available

Cons

Not sure if this can even be considered negative, but what you are buying is just software. You will need to provide your own Ipad, stand and printer. With that said, you have the option to buy whatever fits your situation and are not bound by what the company is offering. Of course, TractionGuest support can help you find everything you need for the setup. (It's really simple!)

The features and options are better than any other solution we tested and there is a lot of potential on the road map. The support team has been very responsive and easy to work with. Overall a great solution.

Pros

That it integrates with Outlook for a more seamless experience for the end user.

Cons

There are a lot of great features but not all are properly. Not a big Con as some have already been fixed and the last few have been submitted to dev. Just didn't hit the ground running like we expected but should be fine once fixed.

Reliable Customer service

Having just taken over as the administrator for our site in regards to Traction Guest, I would say that so far I am impressed. Customer service has been great and takes their time to ensure that issues brought to light are addressed timely.

Pros

ID scanning has made the visitor check in much more secure while also streamlining the check in process for our guests. I would also like the option to clone not just whole experiences, but the option to clone an experience path within created experiences. it would save a lot of time.

Cons

I believe the ability to autofill name information in the about you section with the ID scan feature should be an option. Not being able to clone experience paths within an experience creates extra work.

Very very good. Lots of great features, and people that have been SUPER communicative from the get go.

Pros

The layout is very simple and quite honestly tacked all the requirements we needed for visitor software, and even offered us more features to use that we hadn't considered before: like badge printing for visitors.

Cons

My only qualms thus far are that you are pretty much limited to using HTML ONLY for editing your badges, and if you are unfamiliar with it then it'll prove to be a challenge. I think this is pretty user unfriendly and should be a lot simpler of a process. And that on documents that our users have to sign, you can't pinch to zoom/unzoom. This is an oversight, and as such your documents literally have to be font resized if you need to accommodate all types of folks' vision.

Why I chose Traction Guest for Vistor Management in a Nutshell

I do hope all vendors I partner with to deliver services strive to meet this level of customer service.

Pros

Simplicity. My goal in procuring the software was to automate, digitize, and simply visitor retention during the many campus wide training services we offer for both the users and myself. It's more impressive, despite how awesome the software is, that the support staff are always available. They always provide the information or put in me in contact with someone who can and they always follow up to ensure the solution worked. True customer support.

Cons

I wish there was a bit more customization options in the way the Guest Book is updated. When I can integrate this software with MySQL I'll be in love.

Traction Guest is super user friendly, both on the backend & the front interface. The customer service is great!

Pros

How customizable the software is, and how easy it is to figure out!

Cons

Sometimes, it won't login on the first try from the web browser, but besides that, nothing comes to mind!

Pros

Traction Guest is an easy to use solution for our guest management globally. It has some really great features and a simple to use interface. Customer support is a pleasure to work with as well. I'd definitely recommend Traction.

Cons

There are a few key features missing, but in the time we've been using Traction they've made some great improvements so I expect it's only a matter of time.

Black and white photographs are better, but still a little grainy Need to be able to have the receptionist reprint the badge

It can take a good amount of time to customize some experience paths for visitors and/or vendor registration.

The Traction system and labels are so much more professional-looking than handwritten "visitor" labels. When we started using Traction, I felt like we started looking like a "real" company. :-) Traction is really easy for our guests and front desk staff to use.

I really don't have any negatives. It's been a good experience.

Great Tool for Busy Datacenter

being a manager for a busy 24x7 enterprise class datacenter this tool is very valuable for us to organize and track our many technicians and visitors to our site daily. I like the automated email with picture of the guest when they arrive!

Pros

very easy interface, perfect for datacenter with multiple shifts and visitors arriving 24x7

Cons

had to work with our security staff to modify this as we needed the ability to have personal guests and also guests arriving for a group not a specific person.

The interface is really easy to use. Setup was done with little or no help from the vendor.

A great addition to our company

We love being able to better track what building our guests are in at all times! The customer service we receive from the Traction Guest is beyond my expectations. They are personable and ever so helpful!

Pros

We love the flexibility the program provides and that we can design the guests experience to our liking. We have it in several locations, and it's easy to manage from the comfort of my desk without having to travel to the different locations.

Cons

The thing we like least is having to get everyone's email address. We aren't able to leave the auto-populate on due to privacy issues.

Traction Quest for Manufacturer with ITAR requirements.

Great product and great support from the company. Very easy to get up and running. Very easy to customize to my requirements - the best of all the other solutions I reviewed. The SaaS service is very reliable. The company is adding functionality on a quarterly basis and are responsive my inputs to make Traction Guest an even stronger solution for ITAR compliance. I highly recommend Traction Guest as an excellent visitor management solution. Traction Guest is not cheap but it is competitively priced.

Pros

Simplicity and ease of customization. Very responsive technical staff. They will consider your ideas for future product improvement in scheduled software updates.

Cons

Need to have a way to pre-register a visitor and load applicable ID documents with logic blocks to skip document scan upon actual sign in.

Traction guest is very promising

I had a bit of a slow start with the product but that was only due to the accesses that I had been granted by Kerry once that was figured out things have been very smooth.

Pros

The picture and printable badge feature is very handy. There is also a very small learning curve when it comes to modifying and customizing the experience for your site. The product also cuts down on paper use which is a bonus for us.

Cons

Have not used the product long enough to really see any notable ''Cons'' at this time.

It has been an easy and smooth transaction from beginning to end. Great communication!

Goal is to for me to not have to sit at the front desk to greet and check in every visitor and also the host will be responsible for getting their guests. This will allow me to do other things that I need to take care of away from the front desk.

Pros

It is very user friendly and checks all the boxes for what our company needed in a visitor management system. Traction Guest has always listened and communicated back to the development team and worked with us to improve and give us exactly what we need!

Cons

The email is the recall for visitors and not all visitors have an email account. I mentioned to Traction Guest about this and they are always willing to help in solving my issues and making it work for me. The badge was difficult for me to create but Traction Guest put their expert in touch with me and he assisted in making it easy for me.
