Very pleased with what we can achieve with the Workpal system. It is regarded highly with both the mobile and the desktop users.

Pros

Our customers are very happy with the quality of the job cards produced. Ability to see the progress of jobs by engineers on site as they are happening.

Cons

Sometimes there are issues connecting but these can be due to updates not being completed.

Great product for any business

Pros

I loved how the product can be adapted to suit each business' own needs. It was a quick setup with training provided, however, the system is easy to use so we were up and running within a couple of weeks. Excellent customer service with friendly staff and great resolutions. I especially like the map feature for checking what jobs are near each other.

Cons

There were a few things we had asked if we could change to make it work better for our needs but the staff know the system inside out and were able to provide us with solutions - so basically, no cons!

Helpful tool for daily use

Pros

WorkPal brings together information from old data bases that we were using to make an easy to use, more functional option for keeping track of jobs and clients as well as allowing mobile access to documents for employees that are out on sites

Cons

I find that when I use the search function too many old jobs appear and there`s no sort function to put them in date or job number order

Pros

This software is user friendly for both desktop and mobile users. Efficient and easy to set up for operatives onsite working. Customer service is excellent and any issues or queries are resolved in a timely manner. Reports look professional, and layout in a clear order.

Cons

There is a few limitations that we have had to find ways round or use alterative methods.

the WorkPal team have been a pleasure to deal with, both technical and sales departments have been very approachable and helpful.

Pros

the software is very user friendly, which makes it less daunting for new users. the search function is great, and you can find what you are looking for in a very short time.

Cons

more flexibility to make changes to functionality by administrator

The price to get documents amended and uploaded to the app

Very good with no major issues to date

Ease of implementation, development of new features, use of office and remote software.

Cons

Menu selection for individual labels per asset type, all labels are the same for all asset types.

Invoicing does not transfer to sage Would like to see lists of available forms for use on workpal

Overall the system is fantastic and although we are still working on getting the best from it, we wouldn't be without it.

Pros

The user interface and the ease of use are fabulous and make work so much easier.

Cons

There are a few scheduling features that could with tightening up and making a little easier.

Good

Pros

It’s good that everything is to hand and can be easily found. The staff are very helpful. It can amended to suit most things within our business.

Cons

It’s difficult at times when there is no access to internet, working out on sites can be tricky on occasions.Our account software package doesn’t fit with it unless you have the most expensive package for the corporate companies.Consideration should be taken on board for the smaller customers and you might find that your working class people who are self employed might use it more.

wont synch with my accounts software, but to be fair not many systems do

This was a fantastic experience all the way through. It does what it says on the tin!

It streamlined many of processes

Pros

The system is very easy to use and ensures that the transition from paper based processes to digital is smooth. It integrates well with other systems in our organisation. Training was readily available and nothing was too much trouble for the team. This felt like BAU for all users.

Cons

I would habve liked more integrated tracking with my vehicles although I'm told that this is on the roadmap

Workpal has a lot of plus points that have enhanced our business, The job reports are great and look so professional. The option to do quotes is fantastic and these also look professional.

Pros

I love the fact that we can get our job reports sent straight to us once the job is completed. This is a massive plus point for us as we attend numerous customer care jobs a day.

Cons

I don't like the fact you can't see all your daily jobs on a calendar without giving the jobs an allotted time slot.

Cons

The were a very friendly team that were always happy to help.

Pros

I found that the setup and cost was very good, and the team were very friendly. It has so many features, and it can be customized to suit your needs. Also the interface is very simple to use.

Cons

I would like it to be a bit clearer on the scheduling view, so I could block out peoples days with clearer view of all of there jobs

The easy to use interface, design and layout of the application is brilliant.

Cons

There are a few features I would like to see added to the basic version, but we'll add as soon as we can viably do so.
