I like that the dispatches from service bench automatically get sent to service works.
That there’s something new often, and they don’t seem to serve a purpose. For example, why is there like 5 save buttons for different sections when writing up a service ticket? Why can’t there be just one?
We appreciate your feedback. When creating a service ticket, you'll find an option to save all information at once. Subsequently, you can update individual sections of the ticket as needed. We cannot get it to sync with quickbooks without multiple errors, You cannot do a paid out of your til for gas or refunds that were bought prior to switching over so balancing the til cannot be done with this program. We have contacted serviceworks rep many times and every time told they will get with someone and get back to us but we NEVER hear back unless we initiate it and then are told the same lame thing. We are currently looking for another program that is more functional and has better customer support.
Scheduling of service calls .

slow to respond to our problem and we have issues that they say cant change bill
parts inventory service calls and tracking
when we sell product will not take out of inv. until delivered if delivery is 2 weeks away we sell same product 2 to 3 times what a mess

I feel like I am getting little return for my investment. It is just a matter of time until I discontinue this service.
I have been a loyal customer since 1997, when it was SwiftLink. I am only with Service works because I have not decided on a company to transition to. I am no longer happy with the service nor the product.
The lack of customer service. The constant excuses. The poor accounting features.

being able to have calender schedule inside the program only having to enter in the original program.in the past we had to use two programs to complete these tasks..
like the service scheduling and the service work order detail on the work orders!pos is good to be able to use the scheduling right from the pos invoice..
at first i did not like the reports section , but now i have talked to support and have had some reports taylored to our needs

I am still learning the features of this program and will be contacting Service Works to help me set up for manufacture warranties.
You can go into the service ticket to make changes.
You have to hit the "OK" for each section to save. It would be faster to be able to hit the "Enter"

The team is great. Onboarding wasn't as bad as we expected. Has all the features we needed that some of the others did not.
We like the ease of booking, scheduling and dispatching service calls.
Configuring wasn't as difficult as we expected but did take some time to get where we wanted. Team was super responsive though and I have no complaints.

Miserable. Switching software to this made me consider quitting my job.
I cannot think of a single thing I like about service works.
Everything. The constant crashes on the mobile app. The loss of data, the various bugs and glitches, the lag when uploading things, and the lack of fixing bugs after pointing it out to tech support. This service is awful.

as a simple recurring service based business, it does all i need it to.
All the automations that I need as a bin cleaner are there, but they are all the basic versions. for example, auto text reminder automation is great but I cannot change what time that text goes out. I also cannot see all my customers on a map; which is key to understanding my business.

I have looked at many other field management software. But Service Works is the best. It has all the key features and more to operate a business smoothly. This is easy to use for non hi tech professionals. It is integrated with Service Power, Service Bench, Quickbook and Shopify. The warranty/claim submission is a very smooth process where many hours of time has been saved.
For retail industry they do not offer any gift card management yet. That would be one thing I would suggest to be included.

I like the overall concepts and practicality of the way the software is put together and in the most part is very easy to use. The customer support has been phenomenal.
I like the ability to create jobs and monitor the service history on the job.
The inability to change the customer a job is assigned to. You have to cancel the existing job and create a new job for the correct customer.

I run a team of about 7 techs as of now and we have had used many of other softwares and this is by far the best. Customer service is friendly and helps you with every need. Their system is very user friendly and I love the customization for their format.
Pros: easy to learn, Easy drag and drop scheduling, customer service is great, the customization is amazing.

My overall experience has been fair. Customer service is pretty good.
The program is very easy to use. The scheduling feature is awesome as appointments can be rescheduled on the calendar, as well as in the client record. The customer service is somewhat good, which increases productivity. The customer history is also a helpful tool. Onboarding and ability for the Service Works team integrating forms was a great experience.
The program and the app frequently freezes and some requests, asking for different configurations to on tickets or reports are not handled immediately, or in a timely manner. The lack of ability to customize reports without involving Service Works. The price of the service has increased and is not really justifiable for the services that are received. Configuring templates is a challenge. Also, different browsers produce different results. There is a lack of consistency. The inability to edit forms within the program The lack of ability to scan documents or photos larger than 5mb

TERRIBLE... we were misled, and our money was taken without any functional support from the team. The 'Fully customizable' interface was poorly executed, lacked customization, poor support from the tech who was assisting us. They could not answer questions, could not fulfill any of our wishes, it took days and sometimes weeks to get changes done, and when we cancelled, we were thanked for our 'gift' of several thousand dollars and NO REFUNDS... "go pack sand... Super Clean Cans!" ... muhahahahah WOULD NOT RECOMMEND... We were so excited, but found out this was just a snake-oil sales pitch to take our money, but not deliver on a single service
We liked some of the features in the back end. We are a trash can cleaning business and the sales person said that we would love the "fully customizable" integration feature with our website and the ability to take payment for services in advance. We realized this was a lie.
We were misled about the features and integration abilities of the product. When we deployed and started the integration into our website... the "fully customizable" interface was very lacking, our customer service technician's favorite words were... "No, we can't do that" and we felt like we were lied to from the start. Our technician was terrible at support and we immediately tried to cancel the service when we were trying to launch the company. This was a terrible experience and you stole our money, as we paid for a year's worth of service in advance.
