Pros

Airtable notifications from mentions which are sent to both airtable and emails help you keep track of your activity and tasks. Its user friendly with a good interface and easy to learn.
Obviously, the features are 10 times better on airtable. The different kind of views that I can have is also brilliant, the calendar view, kanban view and my favorite.
I literally try to replace as many tools as I can with Airtable because it is so flexible. Using it as the core for client and customer reports is fun and feels like a stable solution.

Cons

We had problems with the mobile app not working at times. This was frustrating for our teams in the field, especially since this was a big selling point for us.
The input fields to gantt view can be confusing at times. Also, filtering by projects due is also confusing if all team members do not synchronize their way of project management.
I also very much dislike the amount of e-mails my colleagues and I receive from AirTable, a lot of which are requesting that we upgrade (and pay for) their software.

Airtable - the Future of Spreadsheets

Seriously, Airtable is amazing. Because of their grouping, filter, etc and MULTIPLE VIEWS, this the the best feature. It allows you to have one set of data, with multiple views. So for example, say you had 500 domain names, split by 5 registrars, and selling them on several domain marketplaces. You could not only have a view of all domains grouped by the registrars, you could also have another view...

Pros

What is a airtable? Its like excel, and google sheets, however, it allows you organize your data in amazing, and visual ways. -Various views (without altering your original spreadsheet) -Group by attributes (great visual way to group data) -New views don't count against your rows

Cons

-Free version is limited to 1200 rows -Even paid version is limited to 50,000 rows (for my uses - doing keyword research, this isn't enough). If they could raise this limit to maybe 200-500k, that would probably attract a lot more people. 50,000 rows seems like a lot for some purposes, but for many other purposes, it is not enough.

Airtable is a Dream Database

Airtable has been a wonderful resource for us in that it has enabled all members of our team to have access to the information they need in real time instead of waiting for documents to be emailed. It also helps that we have been able to store all of our important databases in the same location for review instead of saving them in multiple locations or buried in folders (i.e. google drive). We love having everything at our fingertips and for such a reasonable price!

Pros

- I can create multiple databases all in one location - I can share databases with my team who can then update and alter the databases in real time, giving everyone the same info at the same time - I can manage all of this for free - There are tons of filters for organizing my information - It is easy to duplicate databases or move data around amongst them

Cons

- Some of the options that would be very beneficial and basic are paid options (such as color-coding different info) - databases on the free plan are limited by the number of records, HOWEVER, you can have as many separate databases as we want, so this is a (very) minor issue

It's a pretty, but the free version lacks feature depth

Overall, I think it's a great tool organization and much prettier than Google Sheets or Excel. But if you have a more in-depth project, you might find some limiting roadblocks in the way it displays your data.

Pros

I enjoy the overall design and feel of Airtable and the use of colors and graphics to organize data. It's easy to move items around, sort by a specific column or field, and gather input from team members.

Cons

I ran a side-by-side comparison with Airtable and Google Sheets for a project I was working on and eventually settled on Google Sheets, mainly due to the lack of customization allowed in Airtable. While the views are pretty, when you take a deep-dive, there are some basic elements that cannot be changed or altered. This includes the inability to truncate a link description (it only allows for the display of a full URL) and the ability to add borders, cell colors, image previews and more
