Organization and project version tracking.
Pros
The count feature and certain summary functions are extremely helpful.
Cons
No place to put the schema for databases, or attach other documents (like a project folder). Statistics are too basic, need cleaner base reports.

We've used Airtable as a lightweight project management tool, to track partnerships, and track a schedule and content for social media.
Pros
Although I have not use them, Airtable also has APIs available so hopefully it will be easy enough to integrate with existing tools.
Cons
The support for tracking burndown and velocity really isn't there - and I wouldn't use it if it was.

Pros
I LOVE the mobile app, the desktop app, the ease of use and simple interface.
Cons
I wish there was a way to somehow integrate a repeating function for tasks. I realize this is mostly a database and not a project management tool, but it would definitely close the loop for me and really rid me of any reason to use anything else for organization.

One place to organize most of our business functions including but not limited to strategic planning, project and task management, company calendar, editorial production and planning calendar, recruiting and hiring tracking, client database, staff directory, brand style guide, tech stack database, meeting tracking, affiliate tracking, budget and expense tracking, etc...
Pros
It is a great way to organize any type of information and data. We are using it to replace many of the systems we use day in and day out.
Cons
The pricing structure. Would like to see the pricing tiers based on #users and have all functionality available to all levels.

I use Airtable to organize and plan my personal projects.
Pros
Right now I need it to be a huge to-do list and schedule organizer, but later I might need it to be a project management system complete with Gantt charts. I know it can do both.
Cons
If you jump in without a template to start from that's close to what you're looking for, Airtable can be intimidating to work with. It has its own jargon for the different levels of organization, and it wasn't initially clear to me how to use it. I had to go to a blog post from a user (not produced by Airtable to my knowledge) to make sense of it.

Airtable has its limitations but is good for managing simple tasks such as event planning or brainstorming lists.
Pros
Very user-friendly and easy to invite others to collaborate on tasks. Reminds me of a more colorful Excel worksheet, easy to navigate through different projects and separate tasks by category.
Cons
Not the best tool for complex project management.

Its mostly because of the tools within the app that we use to schedule task as per priority, and time tracking.
Cons
While there are enough we can use on its free version, if we want to swap for the enterprise version, its a bit expensive. But its highly effective.

For basic task and project management, this is a great tool – but for more advanced features (or, if you're looking for any type of intuitive automation) it's a bit cumbersome.

Cons
I work in higher education and so I cannot manage ALL my projects and tasks in Airtable, just the ones that don't involve student data.

We literally run our $500,000/year custom apparel & accessory small business (24 Hour Tees) exclusively with Airtable (and many other excellent third-party tools that play nicely with Airtable) #BusinessIntegrations #BusinessHacking
Pros
When we need to track data for new businesses, tracking everything a business can track (customer info, transaction details, service tickets, timesheets, profits & losses, etc.), we choose Airtable because we love the convenience it provides our team!
Cons
If Airtable added the following features I believe more businesses would use it exclusively as their business database: - Linking Records Between Bases - Allowing Commenting via the API - Better internal (templated) CRM Management (User Front Front End - Possible GUI interface like your 'form' tool) - Webhooks from specific views

It's an elegant and modern alternative to Microsoft Project Plan
Pros
We use airtable to track projects and assign tasks. It works fairly well for a small team.
Cons
Wish it integrated with email so that it could function more like a crm. The few times that we reached out to support as a paid subscriber they were slow and inefficient.
