Great project tracking with tasks well organized, time tracking against tasks and very nice reporting as well as exporting data and importing.

We also support attaching files from Google Drive to your Tasks, Task Comments, Estimates and Invoices.

Being easy to use and cloud based, we could integrate Avaza very easy in our organisation.

Pros
Avaza is an extremely user-friendly project management tool that includes all of the important components of project management in one easy-to-use interface (i.e. project tasks, scheduling, timekeeping and expense management, invoicing, reporting, etc.).
Cons
There are some features that do not currently exist in Avaza, such as the ability to send automatic overdue invoice reminders and the ability to apply detailed permissions to external/client users, however Avaza seems to be working constantly to improve the system and will take your input into consideration when documenting feature requests.

Haven't spent a lot of time managing projects and using various task management tools I was pleasantly surprised by Avaza.
Pros
It's easy to use (web, mobile apps) and feature-rich interface cover most bases for task and project management at a very reasonable price.
Cons
The reporting could be a bit more flexible and it's not as feature rich as MS Project (although doesn't suffer from its flaws either).

Just wanted to add a few thoughts here :)
- You can track time in week-view. This allows you to view all projects/categories and tasks you have tracked time for in a certain week, and add more time or make changes.
- Most of the difficulty you are facing in managing projects from Timesheets module is by design, because these changes can only be made by Project Managers and Admin users.
- We are hoping to add an option to add a task from within the Timesheet popup itself, and also a calendar view for your projects. I'll add your request to that list :)

I looked at dozens of software options, but Avaza was the only one I found with a free version that would allow me to view my tasks in a simple list format as well as in a long term gantt chart. There are many other features that I am not fully implementing (quotes, expenses, invoicing, inventory, etc) but I do use the timesheet function to log the amount of time I spend on tasks.

The gantt chart should be more interactive and have the possibility to manage directly in the gantt chart the tasks on people/projects.
