I run cross channel marketing campaigns for my clients, the gantt chart functionality is superior to other tools I have tried.

Cons

I'm still learning about the reporting options, however I haven't yet worked out how to set up a dashboard that provides a snapshot of all of my projects/business activity on one screen.

We can easily track our progress on project deliverables, and can ensure we stay on time and under budget.

Pros

Avaza is an extremely user-friendly project management tool that includes all of the important components of project management in one easy-to-use interface (i.e. project tasks, scheduling, timekeeping and expense management, invoicing, reporting, etc.).

Cons

There are some features that do not currently exist in Avaza, such as the ability to send automatic overdue invoice reminders and the ability to apply detailed permissions to external/client users, however Avaza seems to be working constantly to improve the system and will take your input into consideration when documenting feature requests.

Haven't spent a lot of time managing projects and using various task management tools I was pleasantly surprised by Avaza.

Pros

It's easy to use (web, mobile apps) and feature-rich interface cover most bases for task and project management at a very reasonable price.

Cons

The reporting could be a bit more flexible and it's not as feature rich as MS Project (although doesn't suffer from its flaws either).

- You can track time in week-view. This allows you to view all projects/categories and tasks you have tracked time for in a certain week, and add more time or make changes.

- Most of the difficulty you are facing in managing projects from Timesheets module is by design, because these changes can only be made by Project Managers and Admin users.

- We are hoping to add an option to add a task from within the Timesheet popup itself, and also a calendar view for your projects. I'll add your request to that list :)

Great for Gantt charts!

I looked at dozens of software options, but Avaza was the only one I found with a free version that would allow me to view my tasks in a simple list format as well as in a long term gantt chart. There are many other features that I am not fully implementing (quotes, expenses, invoicing, inventory, etc) but I do use the timesheet function to log the amount of time I spend on tasks.

Cons

Single project quick view dashboard (time or $$ left in budget, items past due summary) not available, but can get there with custom reports once you figure out how to do it.

Good and suitable for small business but it would be even better if the price was reduced!

Pros

Good tracking tools: time, expenses, project tasks. You can set reminds and will recieve them automaticly, helps not to miss project key points.
