I've used Basecamp on a few projects that don't naturally revolve around the Microsoft world.

Basecamp is a good alternative for Project Management SW sometimes.

I've used Basecamp at two different jobs. Both in education. Really appreciate the accessibility and cross-platform functionality. Basecamp is very intuitive.

Overall, the benefits of using Basecamp are myriad. We now have the ability to seamlessly communicate and manage all our team projects using one app, instead of relying on multiple solutions. That alone was enough to make us purchase Basecamp.

I've been a BaseCamp user for 8 years. The platform has consistently provided value for our creative team. I like BaseCamp because it it is lightweight and flexible enough to provide basic project mangagement without the overhead of many solutions that require you to spend almost as much time managing the solution as tending to projects. The mobile platform is intuitive and makes managing on the go easy.

If i need to choose to-do list for my work, it's always will be basecamp. You can get everything you need for team management, even online chat. It's best team to-do list that i used and i'm still in love with 37Signals book.

Simple and to the point

While Basecamp wasn't the solution we needed it was still a very capable collaboration software and would be good for most team needs. 

Good for staying on top of due dates and timelines

I used BC for two years, it's very simple, easy and user-friendly. if I have to add anything to it, it would add reporting and project status to get a better view on the status of the project.

Basecamp worked quite well for my team for a very long time. We stopped using the product due to the need for more automation to complete even more projects the internal agency was receiving.

You know how you have to have check your email and phone regularly. You can just add Basecamp to the list, but it's worse, because at least you get notified of emails.

Some notes and files can get lost when attached to a task. Maybe if there was some notification or something more eye catching to let the user know there is more to look at before starting the task.

I think basecamp is a great, well-organized project management solution for members who are going to work on a specific, easy to work and integrated project.
