Pros

Ability to use for multiple solutions in addition to Agile Project Management. I've been in the business for over 30 years and Clarizen Customer Care in the best I've experienced in a very long time.
All of the people we've dealt with are likable and eager to help...just not on our terms, which is the place they could improve the most.
Clarizen is a great product with fantastic support. Their webinars are great examples of how to do things right, they have Q&A sessions that anyone can join and get all of your questions answers.

Pros

Highly customizable and effective program with a good value. Would recommend to anyone who likes a lot of options.
Great project management features in the price they are offering. Love the features of timers for tasks whenever starting a new task its possible to log hours for that which is a great feature.
I like the reminders and integration with other softwares. ZOHO is a big help in keeping me focused on what I should be doing and what I have done.

Cons

Can be a pain in the ass to configure when the application need to so specific for your organization.
The fact that there are so many features also has a downside.
Our biggest struggle comes with the idea that a PSA should be a three legged stool (projects/task management, time tracking/resource management, and project financial management).

Cons

Had problems with my 2FA when I lost my cellphone which was very odd it locked me into that option only for logging in.
Sometimes we face some problem of finding tasks which are assigned to a particular team memeber as this tool has so many features , it becomes difficult to find things.
I need to installing the software, and can't using it from my mobile device to using it. The dashboard design is outdated with no hint of they will updating it near future.

Good for Projects Bad for Accounting

Clarizen is okay in terms of the project management capabilities. At my previous job, we used Zoho Projects and CRM and I found it much more efficient in the accounting integration aspect. With Clarizen there isn’t many options as far as billing and timesheet information goes. I use Great Plains for accounting and we tried to integrate everything into Clarizen but there’s just not enough customizable features to where it would be beneficial for us.

This is the best project management tool I've used

Great visibility into my projects.

Pros

The tool offers A LOT of functionality. As I'm not a system administrator, I am not aware of everything that Clarizen can do, but whenever our admins unleash a new feature, I'm always excited by it. The new Android app is super nice/handy to have, especially for logging time. The support is great: we have logged bugs before, and these are generally resolved very fast. I am not blocked for long whenever something like that happens.

Cons

The fact that there are so many features also has a downside. I feel like there is a lot more to discover, and sometimes, things are no consistent. For example, in some views, I can hide the right-hand vertical "space" (or menu) and in others, I can't. I also find that column resizing is quite burdensome, and I have to resize columns in multiple views (it doesn't propagate.)

Cons

I like the new social features. Being able to communicate easily across projects is awesome.

Cons

The ramp-up time in being fully comfortable to use the product and feel like you know what you're doing is steep. It took me a while to get used to Clarizen again, especially after the new version was rolled out.

Great for time tracking and expense reports

We've used Clarizen for 10+ years and it is easy to create and manage projects for time tracking to better understand where our hours are spent, as well as for client billing. We also use it for Expense reports, which is nice to be able to do it all within one platform.

Pros

Super easy to track and submit hours, including setting up as many projects as necessary.

Cons

Certain reports are only available to certain licenses, not allowing basic licenses to see things like time tracking reports for project management or PTO.

It is an amazing project tracking system, has help us to improve the tracking of our projects and avoid delays. To add notes or comments to task and projects help to find issues and help us to increase the quality.

Pros

Easy to use. You can assign the resources for a project easily, see their advance and request progress report. With few clicks you can get a global stand point of a project and see risk point and define next steps to do. You can integrate it with outlook and get your contacts. You can access from any device.

Cons

There is not a desktop application, would be nice to count with that.

Pros

The user friendliness of Clarizen can not be beat. Recently, our company moved to Clarizen for project tracking and the transition couldn't have been easier. Employees rave about the ease of the system.

Cons

If i had to choose, the disconnect between Projects and tasks on the same view. It would be nice to have these without the need of workflows to integrate them.

Project Visibility inside SFDC

I have just completed our Clarizen and SFDC integration a few weeks ago. We are very satified with the results! We have 100s of active projects - these dashboards allows our Services Organization to better manage our business. The Clarizen-SFDC integration allows anyone from our Sales, Customer success, or our Support teams to see up to date project data. If you're familiar with Microsoft Project you can easily find your way around this app in minutes. Definitely recommend

Pros

I especially like their design of allowing Clarizen Projects to be linked to Opportunities, Accounts, and/or Campaigns.

Pros

Clarizen planning tools allow project managers to define the scope and size of projects and estimate resource and workforce requirements.

Cons

Seemed a bit expensive, and for our needs we found that any license except the most expensive was pretty useless. The levels of functionality in the lower licenses didn't help us at all. We ended up getting all licenses at the highest level.

Simple time tracker

We are using it for timesheets and managing tasks for projects. There are better tools available than this one.

Pros

The UI could be customized and shows a weekly view of the time you've put in for various tasks. It's simple enough and doesn't have any advanced capabilities.

Cons

The UI seems to be riddled with bugs. It randomly disappears columns and rows and comes back on page refresh. The Submit button doesn't do anything on the UI but seems to submit the timesheet.

This tool can be used for simple project management or complex projects. It can be used to do both simultaneously. Great tool!

Cons

Like any software that is aimed at solving complex business problems, Clarizen had so many features that it became overwhelming to our team during implementation. When a business has to undergo major changes to their operations, it needs the transition to be as easy as possible. This is more of a critique for most large software solutions as opposed to just Clarizen.

Clarizen has been a solid tool for us when expanding our professional services organization.

Visibility into projects across the entire professional services portfolio. This gave us a better understanding of our teams and how they were utilized.

Pros

The ability to customize Clarizen is one of it's strongest features. While not as advanced as some of the bigger SaaS players like Salesforce, it still provides a robust set of features to allow you to create custom business processes to accomplish your companies goals. They compete pretty well against other companies with much larger teams. Another great feature we use a lot is the expansive and complex WBSs you can have for projects. This allowed us to have a better sense of project flow and visibility to where our projects are at.

Cons

Our biggest struggle comes with the idea that a PSA should be a three legged stool (projects/task management, time tracking/resource management, and project financial management). We can only seem to make two work at a time with Clarizen. Our PMs want some pretty detailed project plans to really understand where tasks are and who is responsible, but when you implement that with time tracking it becomes...

This solution allows me to develop team work efficiently, integrating conversations, tasks and projects in the same application. It really is very efficient.

Pros

This software has excellent functions, is configured quickly and is very easy to use. You can reliably organize all the tasks inherent to any project you carry out. The truth, it is very helpful to have this software.

Pros

I like that it is web-based, and I can access my projects anywhere that I can log into a computer or even on my phone.

Cons

Being a Microsoft Project user as well, quickly editing and making changes to timelines, and seeing what is affected can be more challenging in Clarizen.
