Pros

Overall we have enjoyed it, we are about to get our quickbooks integrated, so that will be nice - hope that it works great.
Very solid and dependable, excellent QuickBooks integration with good support when needed. By addressing multiple needs - time tracking, estimating and invoice preparation, much time was saved.
The software is so user friendly you can figure almost everything out yourself and if not they have a very helpful support team that will help you with your issue.

Pros

The features of Jira are very useful, help track multiple projects with ease. Helps a ton in collaborating with other team members efficiently.
Jira is pretty straight forward. Once you get used to how to set up a Jira, and subscribe to notifications it works on auto-pilot helps to get track of complex issues, resolution and monitor progress.
Slack integration is super useful and the ability to write JQL and integrating with Google sheet is immensely useful.

Cons

My biggest complaint is that when you make a mistake or key something that needs clarification, a dialog box requiring an action comes up nowhere near where you're currently working on the page.
We've had to create projects for all of these but it then becomes confusing which job number we're referring to.
Not to mention most of us were project managing out of email. Things were falling through the cracks and it was difficult to track how much time we were actually spending on projects.

Cons

It has limited number of software integrations. Error notifications can be annoying sometimes.
If you accidentally click on the wrong name, the submitter gets a notification when it is assigned, and then another notification when you fix this by assigning it to the correct name.
Sometimes Jira does not work for some time and that makes it hard to track work. It has server problems often.

Good software but not for every company or function.

Pros

Full-featured, secure and ultimately reliable. Some good integrations as well that make it suitable for dev teams.

Cons

We were using Jira briefly for the marketing team but it was incredibly painful to use, slow and not very intuitive. We switched to Asana for its ease of use.

Not a big fan for use in the non-tech function.

Pros

It allows to get other teams across the company involved in the process and is a good way to collaborate.

Cons

It creates a lot of unnecessary notifications and churn that is not very efficient, especially for functions that do not need to use Jira all the time for their day to day work needs.

Solid tool, serves its function! Used it daily to keep track of development progress

Pros

Excellent pipeline overview, great you can plug in links and maintain the fields important for your process. Convenient set-up, easily kept up to date with other tools like Github.

Cons

Can be a little clunky/admin heavy depending on format you want for your tickets and what needs to be included. Templates in there might help.

The primary function: resolving ticket/order issues, works great when staff is on top of things.

Pros

The concept behind what this product does is great- and when the users working with the ticket system understand how to resolve customer issues, it’s super effective.

Cons

Some of the staff have had trouble understanding how to use and onboard the system. It could definitely be more intuitive- training staff on the system has been a bit of a struggle.

Where all the bugs go

Great, when used properly, it's a powerful tool. Our team would not function without it.

Pros

What I love most about Jira is that it notifies me every time a ticket gets something changed. This allows me to keep customers up to date on anything that we are working on.

Cons

Sometimes it's difficult to find things in the search bar, but as long as I remember key words I can find it again.

Pros

Ability for a large, very distributed team of devs to track issues and bugs in the pipeline for development

Cons

I'm only on the fringes of the system (reporting only) so don't see the full breadth and width of what it's capable of.

Easy to learn how to use. Kanban board function is great to showcase the progress of each sprint deliverables. Label and tag function are great as users can filter and organise backlog efficiently.

Not too bad. Over all it is pretty darn good. All I care about is a better search function personally.

Pros

What it does great! - Navigation of the UI - Detailing out a Tech Support Ticket - Customizing what you need to say in your ticket - Having responses provides great interactability

Cons

What it needs... - Better search function like tags for the issue instead of solely basing the search off of the title - Dark mode (this is a want more than a need) - Not sure if this is a "me" issue, but I get the notifications when someone responds over the email, but not in the actual Jira program.

Have been using JIRA from 8 years

My overall experience is very good. and I enjoyed working on JIRA. There should be an option here to set the hours for story point and based on story point the total estimate gets filled automatically.

Pros

I am using JIRA form the last eight years and it's an awesome experience and help developers a lot to manage the Sprint and Tasks and also log the effort for a task. The most I like most is setting priorities and tracking the activity and time. Also, the dashboard and kanban board is a great feature where we can see the complete status of the project in a single window.

Cons

I don't see any cons till now, things are very flexible and almost everything is changeable using configurations.
