Pros

Geekbot is our go-to tool for keeping our team in sync and our projects on track. It's like having a virtual assistant that handles our check-ins, updates, and internal communication. It's easy and quick to use, and our teams seem to do it very effortlessly. If you're serious about boosting productivity and promoting communication within your team, Geekbot is the way to go. A great plus is that the client services team is really flexible and very responsive!

Cons

All works very well, there is nothing to report here.

Increasing productivity and helping with connectivity

With Geekbot, our team’s productivity has reached new heights. Its implementation has enabled us to discuss and overcome any hurdles promptly. The best part? These discussions now happen asynchronously, allowing us to work at our own pace and yet stay connected.

Pros

The “Friday Kudos” feature is a hit too. It’s a wonderful way to close the week, acknowledging team efforts and contributions.

Cons

Time zone customization for people across different time zones could be improved. Allow for members to choose what time they want to be notified rather than based on a set time at the base time zone.

Magnificent tool for remote teams!

Pros

We love its simplicity and the way it helps teams organize between themselves and their everyday tasks. #Standup is an amazing feature.

Cons

We've been using Geekbot for at least 2 months and still haven't found anything bad about it. Loving it!

Great automated Icebreaker questions

Pros

Geekbot standups can be added to different channels (including private ones) to run multiple standups synchronously. It's also highly customizable for scheduling and question type!

Cons

Being the admin, I have many standups that are conflicting. Geekbot will DM me that one standup is "canceled" so the another can remain active. This messaging is misleading because it is only my ability to respond to a particular standup that is removed (because I have conflicting ones), all other participants can still respond to their standups.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review Amy :) You can use the "report" command in order to handle multiple reports easier, it just triggers whichever standup you are participating into.

Super handy to stay in the loop and collaborate

Pros

Really fantastic as a method to cut down on needless meetings. Really simple UI and also helpful to see progress you (and the team) has made on a weekly basis. Crucial for our future growth and communication.

Cons

Nothing really! I think it's super simple and does what it says on the tin!

We love geekbot

Pros

We've been using geekbot for the past month and have found it really increases the engagement of our team. We have both a daily and a weekly check-in and generally have 100% participation.

Cons

The only thing I don't like is that it posts the engagement to the channel, so everyone can see if some members didn't reply.

Pros

It is perfect to manage the stand-up meetings considering remote teams in a different timezone. Furthermore, it always reminds the members to report.

Cons

Sometimes, it does not respect the time configured to start the daily meeting.

The automated daily check-ins for helping hold my colleagues accountable in their professional writing productivity.

Cons

That it's not possible to just use the check-in feature without paying for service. This seems like a simple thing that should be available for free.

Pros

Easy to set up, easy to use. Nice addition to your daily video conferencing.

Cons

Geekbot will not engage in a small talk with me ;)

Geekbot helped to organize the daily routine. Every day we write shortcut of our yesterday work. It also helped to work with logging time tools.

Cons

I would love to see free plan option, for example for small teams like us.

Geekbot make scrum adoption fast and easy

Pros

Geekbot made was above my expectations, all my team members started to write daily standups without no-shows that used to happen when we tried to use calls or calendar reminders.

Cons

Everything is fine, geekbots suits with my needs.

Great customer service

Pros

It's cheap and it gives you the ability to have better transparency between teams.

Cons

For now, I didn't find anything that I didn't like. It's the tool that we needed to have in our slack.

Geekbot is a great Slack application

Geekbot is a great tool for many different use cases such as daily reminders, weekly standups, surveys, and more. Highly recommend!

Pros

- As an admin, it's very easy to set up and customize surveys, reminders, etc. for a team. - As a user, it's easy to work with geekbot within the Slack ecosystem - there is essentially zero on-boarding. - Customer service is fantastic and personable

Cons

- There is not a very robust reporting mechanism. As a team that might send out a geekbot to many, many users, it can be difficult to extract meaningful insights from their responses.

Super easy to use!

Pros

I like that GEekbot allows us to enter our daily standup updates and posts to a team channel, we save so much time not having to have a morning huddle every morning.

Cons

I just hope I don't miss anything important from anyone else's standup update
