I like that geekbot allows my team does daily standups asynchronously through Slack. I like that geekbot was easy to set up and I like that it records my team's responses.
I honestly have experienced no cons with this software.

Geekbot is customisable which is great for multi-channel use and for multi-purpose usage.
Perhaps because I didn't set it up, I wasn't aware that there would be a cost.

It lets you personalize the messaging and by doing that it helps us increase the response rate.
There is nothing to dislike here. We chose this because this is exactly what we are looking for.

In a non-face-to-face environment, I was able to have daily meetings thanks to this tool.
Being able to hold daily stand-up meetings through Slack.

It allows our timezone-distributed team to get the benefits of a daily standup without having to do it synchronously (or actually standing up :-D )

With many projects going on in a remote environment, Geekbot has helped to provide a virtual way for the team to provide status updates.
I love that Geekbot integrates with tools we are already using (Slack) to help out team maximize transparency into projects and ensure we are moving items forward.
It would be great if organizations could have multiple teams within the program, opposed to the entire organization functioning as a single team.
Thanks for pointing an issue you have encountered on your feedback, this is really great to know and hopefully we will be able to offer a more sophisticated solution on the matter :)

Easy to view reports and do async standups.
Only con is pricing is slightly high for just a standup bot. However, ease of use compensates for this.

Intuitive dashboard; Got it running in less than 30 minutes; It's easy for admin and users; I didn't need to train/explain it to our users, everyone understood its purpose. It offers a simple way to improve internal communication, that is helpful and not intrusive for anyone.
You can type anything for the questions, but you can't customize/translate some parts of the app (such as settings and reminders, unless I'm missing something).

easy to set up check in questions, and to synthesize the data from it. allows me to ping students assynchronously about how they are doing, and address concerns and where they would like more coverage on topics in class. Also allows them to see where other students are, building a community of learning!
little pricey for academic use, but is a great tool for distance educators!

Overall, Geekbot is a must-have for any remote team looking to better communication and workflow efficiency
Time is saved and everyone stays on task with the automated stand-up meeting feature.
The pricing structure could seem a bit excessive to certain consumers.

Really easy to get Standups into Slack with lots of flexibility. Looks good. The team likes the platform a lot. I think it has a lot of potential as our main standup tool
It's a little pricey per head for what it is. More features in the future could help. Would love to see it integrated with Github issues so we can automatically show what we have done since the last standup.

Love love love it! And so does my whole team. Thanks geekbot!
I love the weekly stand ups we do with geekbot! It keeps everyone accountable for what they’re working on and highlights areas we could increase productivity on. During the week a lot of us work offline so geekbot really helps us sync back up!
