Best value for a helpdesk system

Using it as a multi-department help desk system for our entire organization with connected knowledge bases. We have consolidated all ticketing and support systems with Jira. However, the implementation and also the day to day usability are terrible, if you just need a system as a support desk and don't care about the interface, this might do the trick for you.

Lots of user cases but very clunky and rigid

My overall experience with Jira was positive. It was a great improvement compared to not having a task management program before.

It is my right hand, I work with it daily to manage my pending tasks and those of my co-workers... unfortunately the cost is leading where I work to migrate to a more free tool but without as many benefits.

Jira is pretty straight forward. Once you get used to how to set up a Jira, and subscribe to notifications it works on auto-pilot helps to get track of complex issues, resolution and monitor progress.
