Great tool for tracking software development

From last 3 years, I am using Atlassian products especially Jira.  With ease, I am managing my agile and software development products in Jira. This tool offers a vast variety of services/functionalities which really helped me a lot to manage my project and activities on a daily basis. Scrum/kanban board, automation, service desk/issue collectors & integration with other applications like servicenow, slack etc helps me to keep track of all the info at one place. The integration of Jira with other applications like Servicenow, slack, github etc helps me to keep track of all the info at one place. With Github integration, I can manage my repos and pull requests info on Jira issues. Jira slack integration helps to get the notifications each time an issue gets created in my Jira project. Jira Servicenow integration is great functionality for Incident management tracking in Jira.

Jira offers a comprehensive range of project management services.

It is a good product for internal collaboration but not that great a support tool

Its a very good tool we use to support our customer service issues and also for our engineering / product issues/requirements and bug management.

We tried to make it our support tool and our project management tool, but no one had the time to devote to learning it so we stopped using it.

Extremely complicated and not intuitive at all

My overall experience maybe a little clouded because I am using Service Now through a third party vendor who handles our IT (cognizant) and some of the missing features maybe due to this. I have been using Service now for almost a year to not only track minor IT issues (example requesting new monitors, issues with WIFI ect) but also updates and builds to our website and ERP System. Overall I would not recommend Service now for the later especially in large corporations across multiple subsidiaries as this doesn't give companies the tools accurately implement builds. 

Unfortunately due to the lack of tools in Service now (or how our vendor restricts these tools) our company had to resort to managing these builds outside service now and update once complete. 
Rather you need a system like JIRA where users can easily assign issues for QA testing and allow anyone to reopen tickets.
