Pros

Easy to use, good loading times, simple but effective design, great reporting capabilities.
I really love the ease of tracking time and the multiple options you have as a user of the system. The system is intuitive and there are great resources for reporting.
Our team is so happy to have made the switch to Mavenlink. The sales and support team have been outstanding.

Pros

Customer Support are great - so responsive and keep jargon to a minimum, a pleasure to deal with.
Easy to set up, Great analytics, lovely design, easy to use, easy for time tracker to add their hours with just 1-2 clicks, good documentation.
Overall we love using 10kft and we have been able to improve our business process thanks to its features.

Cons

We basically had to figure it out on our own. THe "integrations" through thier integration tool are very poorly built and the tool is terrible.
Really bad UI and it's difficult to use correctly. You should consider a modular set up where there are core functionalities that are streamlined for the need.
Many ways to do similar things and often so many features you’re unaware of. I find it is intimidating for new users and not as intuitive as other products.

Cons

This software has the worst customer support I've dealt with in a long time. They found a bug with my companies projects and it still hasn't been fixed over a week later.
Inability to define/change calculations/formulas. Enhancement of reports builder.
Well, before I could say anything negative about this product, I would seriously need to give it more time.

Mavenlink is pretty awesome! Though it can seem a bit pricey, the tool itself covers a wide array of what our company needs on a daily basis: from project management to billing integration with our Quickbooks. When it comes customer service, you can get ahold of chat service within seconds any day or time of the week.

Cons

Mobile app still needs work Pricey, but not that much in the grand scheme of things. Needs better scheduling views such as calendar or kanban style options

Mavenlink is an intuitive and well designed project management tool. It is easy to schedule projects, collaborate with team members and monitor project financial and timing statuses. The timesheet, expenses and invoice generation functionality work very well. I highly recommend Mavenlink.

The integration of full-featured resource management, project management and financial forecasting. Tight integration with Salesforce CRM.

Cons

The product is very complex and requires a steep learning curve. Certain features are very difficult to use.

The overall experience of using mavenlink has been outstanding. Timesheet and project management has never been easier. The resource and allocation management are charm and a time-saver.

It is great for project management and time tracking. We are still reviewing resource management to use that moving forward.

Pros

Being able to track time and allows you to hold project management of all your projects in one location.

Cons

The connections between the different levels: User, Project, and Tasks. When it comes to reporting, it would be a lot easier if these were all joined. Right now, we need to pull data out of Mavenlink and manipulate it in excel to see the metrics.

Pros

I like that scheduling hours for individuals on specific projects ties directly to the resource management tool.

Cons

I wish you could add a resource to projects right within the project instead of having to go to Master Planning. And I wish it was easier for timesheets to be pre-populated with scheduled hours.

Impressive visibility into the state and health of my projects and organization, greatly increased resource management capabilities.

Pros

Master resource planning module, combined with built in BI Tool (Insights) offers users impressive data analytics functionality.

Cons

The only con that I can identify with the software is that it is not extremely customizable, but that is by design. It is straight forward software that doesnt encounter issues associated with other highly customized systems (breaks, lack of user adoption, over complexity)

We use this software for time tracking and task management. It's also a great tool to collaborate with your coworkers. It has a lot of features we don't use yet, but plan to in the future.

Pros

This software is great for time tracking, task management, collaborating, and resource allocation. It can be customized to your brand.

Cons

I found it to be a little overwhelming at first. Would have like more training.

Pros

It's great to have a single tool to manage projects, time and expenses, also it gives you a great visibility or resource utilization. Also it gives you a great overall analysis on all of your projects

Cons

I takes time to configure Kantata to your business needsrequires some training due to configuration complexityvisibility of uploaded files against a single project is not great

A Robust Must-Try for Service-Based Orgs!

ML has helped my organization to clearly define accountability and responsibilities. Additionally, it allows for project profitability to be easily found without having to compile data from multiple sources.

Pros

I believe that the best part of Mavenlink is that it's an all-in-one program. One could use this for the day-to-day management of their projects without having to use outside programs. It combines project management, resource management, budget management, estimating, time-tracking, reporting and so much more.

Cons

I think the learning curve can be pretty steep. I attribute this lack of intuition to the robust nature of the service, but it could do with a revamp of the UI/UX. I also dislike the format of the resource management. There are currently two ways to manage resources: Master Planning and Resource Planner. The two work together but are also very separate features. The entire reource management system could use an overhaul to reduce confusion and to make resource changes easier.

Pros

We used Mavenlink for a year. The project management features were nice and it helped streamline our resource allocation for staff time.

Cons

The initial onboarding process was slow and our team was reluctant to continue using Mavenlink as it was not able to integrate with Quickbooks and we ended up having to double our time/expense tracking for accounting purposes.

Pros

Mavenlink's Master Planning feature is unique in the marketplace. I've tried several different project management platforms in my career, and none deal with resource management quite as efficiently as Mavenlink does.

Cons

While Mavenlink is an easy tool to use, to have it properly set up one has to take time to consider tapping into Mavenlink's core features such as the Master Planning tool and Insights. It does take some time, training and group bandwidth to set this up properly.

Mavenlink is a solid business application that helps you enable and maintain your project, including time, budget and resource management in the one place.

Pros

It is a product that takes little time to learn, and once you do, it's very easy to use. My favorite features are timesheets and resource management - key to running good projects

Cons

I don't like the custom reporting - it's not intuitive and hard to do - if it was changed to something easier, that would mean more of the team could create reports.

Effective tool with ease of use and a broad range of features

Very good. We have made suggestions that have been listened to and implemented, we have worked with their customer success team extensively to our benefit. Their help support is excellent when you encounter problems and the software was adaptable to all our needs.

Pros

There is a lot to like about the product. Easy task management with lots of capabilities, time and expense tracking that is simple. Extended resource management options for minute details or broad allocations and a really engaged Customer Success team.

Cons

Not a lot to write here. I think the only issue is that it is hard to use at a hourly scale where you need to set time deadlines in the day.

Love the Time Tracking Feature

Pros

The feature I like most is the ability to track my time spent on each project each day. I use this feature to plan my day and to ensure I am reaching my total hours. It also helps me to plan projects: if the time I actually spend on each project differs from what I planned or allocated, I know to adjust my forecasted time in the future.

Cons

The resource management feature can be confusing. Viewing the difference between forecasted time and actual allocated time for each person is difficult, and having to click on the down arrow to input the time seems unnecessary.
