The only things I would need Mavenlink to add is as follows: -Have some sort of instant messaging service between members on a project. -Allow us to private more than one person when sending messages using m.mavenlink.com. -Have a real app that we can download from PlayStore/ Windows App Store or any other app store so we can use the full functionality of Mavenlink through the app -Also in the future, we could have some sort of video conferencing ability for persons on a project to have virtual meetings. That would be a dream!
It allows my colleagues in different countries to be kept up to date on different aspects of the various projects.
No instant messaging. App needs to available on Windows store/Playstore/other popular app stores so we can use Mavenlink on our smartphones.

Mavenlink would be an outstanding solution for anyone in need of organizational assistance. It's flexible enough to meet unique requirements, yet robust in ways that allow for in-depth project management.
• Campaign-based invitations allowing only relevant team members access to specific projects • Details, Checklists, Notes, Proofs, etc. for each individual task • Post (and pin) overviews, descriptions, files, and comments to the Activity Feed to keep all team members informed • Task-related Time-tracking, Budgeting, and Resource Planning for all types of team members • Proofs section for collaborative reviews
• Beginners may be overwhelmed with so many options and use-cases. However, the organization of tools and the vast availability of features and documentation help the user establish their own workflow that fits their unique individual needs.

Overall my experience has been good but again....i am a basic user
For the modules that I use often as a "basic" user, the product can easily be navigate. Very easy to use. Every aspect of the product i use is very straight forward. That being said, i am a basic user. I submit my time, i review my direct report's times and i review the reports that our admins produce from the product.
I have seen that some aspects of the product are not that agile or flexible. For instance, if we are confident we will start a project and "lockdown" the data to start a project, and then something unforseen happens with a client and we have to post pone something and people have already billed to the project, we have to perform rework because adjustments cannot seemingly be made

In terms of enterprise software, this is actually speedy. Like, I've used time tracking software that requires a page refresh every single time you make an entry. I don't have to wait a couple seconds after each edit in my time sheet. "Not clunky" is a low bar for enterprise software, yet so many SaaS products don't meet it. Mavenlink does.
Needs a desktop app. Also the way to put in time off is a MASSIVE discoverability issue. It should be right on the sidebar, or at least in the time and expense tab, not 4 clicks deep from a button without a useful label on the dashboard. Oh, and this is most likely low priority, but dark mode would be nice.

I can keep track of time, which is what has helped me deliver tasks faster than the final delivery date and keep track of projects to manage the good and bad things to fix.
It has made it easier for me to assign tasks to each of my colleagues to ultimately bring them together in a single project and be able to make better decisions based on real graphs and thus reduce the final delivery time of each project. I can develop multiple projects at the same time, managing to advance faster in each one without confusion.
I only ask kantata to improve customer service in terms of response time not being so long since sometimes they are responses that take a week to give a solution, it is the only bad thing I see in kantata

It has been positive and has definitely streamlined a lot of my work on a day to day basis as a PM
The invoicing and billing functionality is great as well as allowing resources to be forecasted and allocated to multiple projects
It is a bit clunky to use at first as there is a lot of functionality within it

Our team loves the amount of perspectives Mavenlink affords us when we need to gauge our incoming work and available resource capacities. The easy to operate Task Lists give our Creatives clear information when it comes time every morning to quickly get to work and know what is important and what can wait. The drag-and-drop gantt charts make scheduling and adjusting projects quick work for our Production team.
Given how powerful the suite is, it might come across at first to the unseasoned Creative as slightly overwhelming. Though, this feeling is quickly surpassed by empowerment once they understand how intuitive the UI/UX is.

I am new to using the software, however so far it has been intuitive and beneficial for our company. The best thing about Mavenlink is their commitment to continuously improve and ask for feedback.
The software helps our team communicate effectively throughout projects. We are able to capture the specific time used by each employee. Collaboration is easy and the templates allow us to save time.
When cost of per hour work differs with multiple employees work on a specific project, there is a discrepancy causing the budget to not align. Comments can get buried within projects unless the specific staff member is tagged each time.

I have found it a slow and painful process to implement Mavenlink and discover the breadth of its functionality. The software is not very intuitive and frustrating to learn how to use. It has required significant brain power and perseverance on my part to get it to work for our company. I would recommend any company implementing Mavenlink to have more than one person administrating the software and be prepared that it may take a really long time (we're 6 months in and I estimate another 6 months before we're actually using a reasonable level of functionality of the tool) to feel like it's worth it. Once you are using it, however, it is pretty good for resource management and reporting.
Master planning - easy to use and understand once I got into the swing of it. Once of the most useful features for our company.
The project management features are really lacking, this is a resourcing software with some clunky project management features.

Our company switched to using Mavenlink over a year ago before a company merge and rebrand. The Mavenlink team worked very closely with Operations to incorporate new processes as we evolved into a new company. Previously, our company used another program to track project progress and time sheets. Mavenlink offered more features, visuals, and overall better experience.
Although Mavenlink does offer more features for users, there is definitely a learning curve to using it. It did take some time to find places to input hours or track projects and our company still works closely with the Mavenlink team to discover new functionality and learning how to effectively use the software. However, overall would definitely recommend this for any Marketing agency.

I like the way you can create sub-data within a project/task
There are serious gaps in the product. #1: MavenLink does not allow for ulti-tiered timesheet approval process. This capability is a "must have" for any enterprise-level account and is provided in all of the solutions I have used in the past (OpenAir, Changepoint, Sophity, to name a few.) Only the simplest of organizations can get value from this solution.
Andrea, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We¿re thrilled that you¿ve found the flexible work breakdown structure features of Mavenlink to be of value. In terms of our timesheet functionality, although we¿ve released a number of timesheet innovations and enhancements this year, we¿ve yet to release the feature you¿ve mentioned. We¿ll definitely take your valued feedback into consideration to guide our roadmap and future development priorities. Also, we¿ll be reaching out to you directly with the hope of scheduling time to better understand your needs and the enhancement opportunity. Thank you, again. Since I was hired a little more than a year ago, Mavenlink has been an integral part of how my team and I work on projects. Mavenlink's built-in modules have made it easy for team members to leave feedback on project deliverables. The platform also provides an archive of project deliverables, making it easy for team members to upload and download any given aspect of a job, from images to text documents. Mavenlink's task tracker also helps team members prioritize and stay on schedule. I would highly recommend Mavenlink for any digital marketing group.
Trying to find something I dislike about Mavenlink is actually sort of a challenge. Email notifications can get to be a little much, but those can be adjusted in users' profile settings.

We managed to replace multiple tools with a singe Kantata:- project management-resource utilization-time entries-expenses-billing
It's great to have a single tool to manage projects, time and expenses, also it gives you a great visibility or resource utilization. Also it gives you a great overall analysis on all of your projects
I takes time to configure Kantata to your business needsrequires some training due to configuration complexityvisibility of uploaded files against a single project is not great

I wind up creating my own task list on paper, in Trello, or in OneNote so I can stay out of the software as much as possible.
It does have decent formatting options within task descriptions and comments
Completely unintuitive. Lacking basic features like sorting tasks, cloning/copying tasks. Sometimes the limit on nesting tasks becomes a problem.
Thank you for your feedback. We value your insight and have shared your comments with the product team to help us improve and make the product more intuitive. You have some concerns and we would like to address those a little more directly in order to improve your user experience. I solved my worries with this software by forecasting. I realized that planning ahead minimizes risk making way to a more profitable business.
When I integrated it to my business, it was easy. It is also easy to use. The features that I find most impactful are the resource management, resource planning and forecasting. With the forecast feature, I can plan for the next month's possible performance as well as even the following year. Using the full suite of forecasting tools to maximize is my secret for future-readiness. I just like to manage and plan effectively that's why I use this software.
I liked the software but I think it can be improved with the color scheme. Maybe try to develop a dark mode or something. I mostly work at night and I prefer to see a contrast in when I'm on screen. I do that in some of my apps.

The Mavenlink customer support team is quick to respond to any issues we had brought up and, other than the lack of integration with our Quickbooks, it is a solid project management service.
We've used Mavenlink for a few years, and the biggest asset to it is time tracking and project/task time allocation. The resource availability and scheduling are also nice features.
The biggest hindrance we encountered was the lack of integration with the Canadian version of Quickbooks we use. This led to some additional work required on our accounting side to export the time entries and bring them into Quickbooks.

Overall the team is very resistant to use Mavenlink due to these issues which leads them to use methods outside of Mavenlink to track projects and tasks.
The time tracking feature is useful for our team.
Mavenlink support is difficult to work with and does not prioritize any of our requests. The integration with SFDC also routinely wipes our tasks which renders Mavenlink essentially useless.

Great tool for maintaining client communications and managing timelines effectively!

First time using time-tracking software. Time tracking is easy enough. I haven't used much of the management features to give a review of that. It seems fine, but a little rougher in some spots for us.
I like that it's online and accessible anywhere. Also like that the timer remembers where you are at even when the browser/computer is restarted.
I think it would be better or nice to have a different method of time tracking where the start time is an actual time of the day and then you (and managers) can what you did at what time specifically instead of just knowing "I spent 4 hours doing X sometime today, but don't know when". The timer can be a bit cumbersome. Whenever you're finished, you have to manually search for the project/task to...

We are able to manage multiple projects among many people and stay on track. Our clients appreciate the accurate status reports we can provide using Mavenlink.
We rely heavily on the software's built-in time management features to keep projects within budget. I also appreciate their responsiveness when we have a problem.
The billing process could be improved to mesh even more smoothly with Quickbooks.
