I have been with Nutcache since a very long time. I’ve had a few problems in the past with the app, but since at least a year it has been really easy to use it. I find it expensive but compared to other apps it does quite a good job. Also, I have had some good comments about the app and easiness for the client to pay the invoices they had receive, and for me that is super important if you want to get paid fast. The support Chat service is very good, every time I had a problem it would be resolved pretty fast by chat or email. It was harder to reach them by phone, but I think they have a better phone system now.
Getting paid fast since it easy and user friendly for the client to pay the invoices sent.
I find it a bit expensive since I'm not a daily or weekly user, i use it when i have contracts and i would say max 15-20 times in a year even though i have 15-20 clients. I have to find a way to make an invoice once to a only once client and that this invoice/client does accumulate in my maximum 20 clients plan. It becomes then difficult since i have to delete all hours and all projects and all invoices of that particular client to be able to keep 20 clients.

Overall the experience has been very good. Nutcache helped me start a business and helped it grow over time.
When I was starting a company, there was a lot to do and no great way to keep track. Nutcache was a great solution to get off the ground quickly and easily with tracking hours while being able to effectively invoice clients. As the company grew, it was easy to bring other people into the project and use it to track the company's progress as a group.
I would love to have more control over the reports. The tool and interface is very valuable, but seems limited in its ability to customize and output the information in ways that I can bring it into other programs for either analysis or presentation to others. I would also welcome some further power put behind the Gantt charts. I think being able to tie in schedule more and register delays, critical paths... some more of the aspects that you can find in Microsoft project, would be very useful.

Nutcache has been a reliable repository of all my time and expense tracking. I just wish it didn't have so many small aggravations. Not enough attention to detail in implementation.
It does what I need... Track my hours and equipment expenses for each client, allowing monthly invoicing. I also like that it manages the invoicing process.
While Nutcache is full featured, there are too many small issues that indicate there isn't enough attention to detail. it's overall GUI is not intuitive. For example, it's not obvious how you should invoice a customer from the time tracking you have done. You have to use trial and error to find out and then memorize that process. Little things are missed. For example, it gives me the option of changing the subject of the email that is sent containing the invoice. Unfortunately, the email still goes out with the default subject.
Hi Less, thank you for reporting those aggravations. We will share your comments with our development team. Best regards, The Nutcache Team

I mostly use it for quotations and invoicing, but it takes a lot of hassles of my hands.
I like the idea that, after i loaded all my different products and services, i can easily make up a quotation for a client. When the quotation is accepted, I just create the invoice with the click of a button. I have been using Nutcache for years now, and enjoy it. It is easy to work with.
We do glass and aluminium. When we do a job where an odd size window pane is required, I have to load it again as a new product. So in the beginning I had a lot of products to load.

Overall the experience has been very positive.
We used the free version for a while before purchasing the pro version to allow us to invoice two separate companies. I appreciate how easy it is to use and how often new features are added. We have been using the software for about three years now.
The time tracker section is unwieldy and difficult to use. Since we will be using this part of the software on a regular basis a process review or overview video would be helpful.

The time-keeping function is critical to my job, before Nutcache, I would forget to bill clients. I use the invoicing feature a lot and I don't use any other accounting software because Nutcache covers my needs. At tax time, it's really simple to collect my total hours and expenses for the year.
I really like keeping it in a browser window all work day and being able to quickly start and stop timers. The interface didn't take long to learn. If you are in the middle of recording a timer, you can add a new service or task without having to navigate 10 clicks away to the Tasks editing page.
Have to refresh to update the main time-tracking page, but it's not that big a deal.

Recurring invoices really help reduce administration hours, reminders are a great way to poke clients and get them to pay invoices on time, detailed reports for tax purposes are a perfect way to get all the information I need in a short space of time
No option for recurring expenses which would help keep on top of regular outgoings - but this apparently in the works

Layout and ease of use and is useful for project management. Easy to email invoices directly from within the software
Will not trust this company at all. Nutcache has been saying this for years that they will be 'forever free' but have now suddenly decided to close the free feature. I will never trust a company like this. They didn't even care for current free users and just gave them 14 days trial and that's it. For the paid version, its definitely not worth it. STAY AWAY

Excellent service and quite user-friendly. I appreciate the continued development and growth of the services while keeping the pricing fair for small businesses.
The barrier to enter into Nutcache was low and user-friendly. It continues to support the functions that I need more my business: project time tracking and invoicing. It is one of the core services I use to help manage my business.
I have been a user of Nutcache for years and when I look at where it was when I started to where it is today I am impressed with the developments. It is now easier (though not perfect) to use on mobile devices. Because it still needs improvement on the mobile side, and this *may* be the challenges of supporting web apps via a browser, but it is the part that is still wanting as far as my needs are concerned.

Time is easy to track and input into the software. Reports are easily generated and customizable.
The timer feature has been changed within the past year and I find it difficult to use. I was previously able to pause and restart, as well as modify within the timer the quantity of time passed.

Sometimes has an issue with changing the current time before logging hours (how to fix: select Project, go back, edit recorded time) - No ability to see worked hours details or edit logged hours

I only use invoicing, customer data base and product data base. It was free
Now I have limited customers, product and services data base and the price is high.
Hi Ignacio, A few years ago, we took the decision to end the free invoicing version to concentrate on our paid plans. As a business owner, you must understand that we must make difficult decisions to ensure business growth. Thanks for your understanding.

It is good overall for bug-free invoicing.
We have been using Nutcache for a lot of years for invoicing mainly and we like it as it is simple to use and not very expensive either.
International Payments directly to our bank account in India will be wonderful to have (like Paypal but a better forex rate).

It is easy to use on a comptuter web base.
It was really affordable when I start using this software but the price jump up many time to be 600% higher. If you dont have time to change system, you stick with it and pay more for a service that is not beter.

It's a great piece of software that will easily suit freelancers and small business owners' needs for invoicing and time tracking. As far as simplicity goes, the layout of the website is pretty obvious. The design is navigated via the header tab, which is split up into Sales, Expenses, Time Tracking, Reports, Contacts and Maintenance. Each one of these tabs has separate pages to make things as easy as possible to visualize for users. I actually like the setup.
It does not work for fiscal solutions specific to Latin American countries. For example in the Dominican Republic it is necessary to handle in addition to the invoice number, a taxpayer number that changes depending on what type of company is billed and how they will use the taxes on the invoice. For cases where it is required that the invoice complies with specific workflows, this software may not be very useful.

The time tracking features are very easy to use and the reports are incredibly easy to generate
at first the UI was a little difficult to navigate. There was a redesign at one point that requried to relearn the ui.

I was sceptic at first when I found nutcache because nothing is free now a days. So claiming to be a free online invoicing tool had my "spidey senses" go wild... but I decide to register anyways, and trust me, it was one of the best business decisions I made this year. It's such an easy online tool and no limitation. I can invoice as much as I want. The time tracking tool is not bad but I wish there was an app for it too. One last note: Nutcache is frequently updated with new features and languages. I wonder if Arabic will be available soon? Great product!!!!
Unlimited Invoicing Unlimited quotes Unlimited time tracking Unlimited expenses Multi-Users Multiple companies with same account Multilingual FREE
No smartphone apps No Arabic

The app was very easy and intuitive to use. It offered our team an easy way to keep track of their hours. Kudos!
Easy to use Cross platform
Ability to input nonbilllable Lunches and duration of them with a simple click and drop down would be extremely valuable. Reporting could use some refinement.
