I tried a dozen to-do apps before purchasing OF3 and stuck with it a few months but the interface wasn't right for me and it was too fiddly and too overwhelming. If you can get into it properly and can handle how in-depth it is then you'll be fine but it was just too much for me. The price when I got it was actually great, it was a one-time purchase, not subscription like it is now. However, I have switched to Todoist which meets my needs so much better.
It had all the features I needed including setting repeating reminders, ease of adding a task and setting dark mode.
It's too in-depth, if you've never used it or one of Omni's other software it's a heck of a learning curve. The online manual is huge and there's so much to find out. Setting repeating tasks is quite fiddly, there are a lot of options. Other software I've used let's you just put "water plants every Monday" and it'll set that reminder. In OF3 you have to select so many options just to do this. It's very fiddly on a phone especially.

It's simple to use and has an intuitive interface with good UX design. Task tracking, comments, etc work really well. I've tried many task organizing and tracking apps and this is one of the best.
I prefer some of the organizational tools from OmniFocus, but it might just be because I've spent more time in OmniFocus. Todoist's collaboration features are probably better.

after using omnifocus, things, wunderlist , this is my choice because i am using different platform os .
most important is used across platform, Tag/ label available and have their own tab priority field is available ,
drop and drag feature is not available in desktop, app as subscription, label cannot have sublabel , "@" sign can not be used in label,

Todoist is THE app you need to work on shared tasks with anyone in the world.
Todoist has a great interface and strong opinions about GTD and managing tasks. For me, it has replaced Wunderlist as the defacto app for managing shared lists with family.
The Todoist UI is a bit dated and lags behind industry titans such as Things and OmniFocus. They also have failed to embrace modern task constructs like Kanban.

I used to use Evernote and Omnifocus to track my tasks. Both are great products, but don’t hold a candle to ToDoIst. I can’t recommend it enough!
Using natural language to input to do’s is a game changer. Simply speaking or typing as you would natural speak create as a to do that is tracked, attached to a project, and scheduled couldn’t be easier. Plus the fun “Karma” level tracker that allows you to “level up” as you complete tasks is a fun diversion.
I wish using the app was as easy as using the web site. If you want to move multiple tasks to a project when you are cleaning out your inbox (and using Getting Things done methodology) you have to select and move them individually. In the web browser you can use CTRL to select multiple tasks. Other than this, ToDoIst is the perfect tracker!

Overall, I recommend it over any other app for the reasons in my Pros section. It’s not perfect but it’s the best one out there.
I like that my tasks are available on every platform, I can customize it and assign project names, labels, due dates, etc. all from inline text. I also like that it has a nice bi-directional API for Zapier (unlike, say, OmniFocus.). That allows me to use it with Clio.
It is sometimes a bit too customizable which can lead to over management of unimportant aspects of tasks. I don’t like that there is no review option (like OmniFocus which does this very well). The alarms are not great. There is no default time for alarms and the reminders are not very persistent.

Love using Todist to organize my personal life. It's not meant for complex projects but I don't think it was designed for that!
I use Todoist mainly for managing my personal life. I have other todo type tools I use in my business but Todist is my go to for my personal life simply due to the fact that I love how easy it is. I've tried others like Things and Omnifocus but I keep coming back to Todoist because of it's interface.
Can't think of anything I don't like about this software. They didn't have location based reminders before but they added it and I have no complaints about this.
