Pros

As for timer, it's dominating your screen, so it saves me from distractions of all kinds. Overall, what I like the best about this software is the blend of simplicity and feature-rich functionality.
Paymo is a combination of some kind of CRM and PM tool. It's good we can track budgets and payments, and also great integration with slack.
Easy to implement and to use. I can add as many projects as I want, tasks, view these in different formats, and never undercharge again thanks to the awesome time tracker.

Pros

We are still using Quickbooks for accounting for now. The webinars have been great, the support team has been great, our trainer was great.
Invoicing is easy and we are impressed with professional looking invoice templates that are easy to read. Also it is easy to manage the outstanding accounts receivable.
Each and everyone of them I have interacted over the years have been amazing. All of them in customer service are tremendously helpful in setting up the software for my new firm.

Cons

As for its negative side, it should be taken into account that paymo does not track the cost of each project directly on the fly.
The filters can get confusing, sometimes its to many filters or not enough.
This buffers a lot and has many technical errors.

Cons

There are times when a question asked gets bumped up and it takes a long time to correct or answer that you lose track of the problem.
The program was often slow and sluggish between screen changes (I have very fast ethernet connection 250mbps DL speed).
It was the most expensive waste of time I've experienced in a long while. It's right up there with Yelp advertising.

We were looking for a well priced project management package and Paymo was the best we found by far!

Transparency of time taken to complete regular tasks and easier billing method.

Pros

Stopwatch/time recording feature. Works better on mobile and tablets than any other package out there. Overall price vs features is excellent with good work-arounds for the price conscious and a suite of everything you need for those with deep pockets.

Cons

They are still improving the software regularly and are a young company in Paymo's development. The most annoying thing to us was that task lists set up in workflow order on the PC come up in alphabetical order on mobile devices.

Paymo is very user friendly and intuitive.

The software saved lots of time on repetative non-billable tasks. It gives us more control over data and helps us narrow our focus on the parts of projects that need more efficiency.

Pros

Paymo is easy to learn, manage, and use. The price is right for most any size company and the core features are well tuned. It has saved time when preparing timesheets each week and helps us track our hours very efficiently. In a service based industry, a software like Paymo takes the uncertainty out of knowing whether or not you are on target. The ability to gather vast amounts of data in seconds...

Cons

The built-in invoicing feature is a little difficult to fully customize. It has "custom" options, but they are not full control. It does allow for custom coding for invoice generation which we are doing now, but this requires someone on staff who is fairly well versed in HTML and other scripts/codes. I wish that Paymo would talk directly with a desktop version of Quickbooks, but it does work with Quickbooks Online through Zapier Apps.

Overall I have been really impressed with Paymo, it has merged many of the tools I would often have to use seperate services for and that alone is a massive time & cost saver. Support has been excellent in the few times I have had to contact them, & I have enjoyed implementing the service as the hub for my project management needs. I look forward to the updates the Paymo team bring in the future.

Pros

The biggest selling point for me was the project management facility alongside the app & timer for time tracking. Prior to this I had used a mix of Toggl + Trello, then when I moved to Quickbooks TSheets + Trello + Quickbooks. Switching to Paymo streamlined this so that I could do all the project management and time tracking in one suite. Quickbooks integration was a necessity also considering all my finances have been handled there too. Support has been excellent as well, tickets are resolved quickly and always someone available to give a helping hand or to receive feedback.

Cons

The biggest con was actually a feature I asked about before signing up for a subscription. At present the task management boards have no guest access facility. This was a feature I was really looking for as previously I used Trello to share proofs & receive feedback from clients. Having contacted support they have informed me that this feature is on the roadmap and undergoing testing, so hopefully...

Happy to hear that we streamline not just time tracking, but invoicing (including the QB integration)! Indeed, the client portal with in-app access to guest users is our #1 priority.
