Pros

As for timer, it's dominating your screen, so it saves me from distractions of all kinds. Overall, what I like the best about this software is the blend of simplicity and feature-rich functionality.
Paymo is a combination of some kind of CRM and PM tool. It's good we can track budgets and payments, and also great integration with slack.
Easy to implement and to use. I can add as many projects as I want, tasks, view these in different formats, and never undercharge again thanks to the awesome time tracker.

Pros

I love this tool and highly recommend to use it. Easy, intuitive and just good working tool.
It's a great product helps me increase productive time and track how efficiently I am using time. I recommend everyone to use it.
I use Toggl Track for tracking just about everything from volunteer projects that I work on to my accounting business - I love how easy it is and the reporting is terrific for my needs.

Cons

As for its negative side, it should be taken into account that paymo does not track the cost of each project directly on the fly.
The filters can get confusing, sometimes its to many filters or not enough.
This buffers a lot and has many technical errors.

Cons

I have a way to measure how much time I spend on client projects because I hate to track time. For hourly projects, I was always cheating myself.
We wanted to become more co-ordinated and understand if we were hitting budgets and estimates, deadlines etc. This made it more disjointed than having no software.
Maybe if it had an audible alarm to alert you when closing out of a browser instead of leaving the timer on.

Project management as it should be

I used to use Toggl, but after trying Paymo i decided to make the switch. The UI is well designed, usability is there and and the price is super-affordable.

Pros

What i like about Paymo the most is the Timesheets feature where i can have all my work displayed in calendar view, add, edit and delete entries easily and manage my work week efficiently.

Cons

The mobile app is still lacking in many respects compared to the web version, but i expect it to be updated.

Great Product Must Have

Being able to track the hours and what project goes to which client has been so helpful.

Pros

As a graphic designer who needs to keep track of hours, I have always been able to depend on Paymo to keep accurate track of my time. Being able to send the data to my clients is a plus.

Cons

I had some issues with the desktop app so I started using it directory from the site to track time.

We can now keep track of all billable hours by project. During payroll days, our Office Manager no longer has to try and track down time sheets from each team member.

Pros

The ease of use and flexibility of Paymo is what Cactex Media likes most. Each team member can choose how they view the projects, how they track and enter their time, what tasks are still outstanding, etc. Our accounting department likes how we can now report team members's hours by project - which makes it easier for client billing purposes.

Cons

We do wish Paymo would integrate with Quickbooks.

Tracking Employee Hours

My experience with Paymo has been positive and trouble free.

Pros

Paymo makes it extremely to track employee clock ins and outs. It also makes it simple to track time involved in various projects that are being worked on.

Cons

There hasn't been anything to stand out that I don't like about this software. Everything works as it should the majority of the time.

Pros

I love the templates that it lets you create and add to projects. Ultimately Paymo saves you an incredible amount of time. It allowed us to move from 3 separate apps for tracking hours, tasking, and project management, to just using Paymo.

Cons

The biggest con for me is the lack of a more comprehensible "tasks" dashboard. I wish there was a better way to track incomplete tasks that are directly assigned to you.

Top notch Project Management Tool

Pros

The easy to navigate interface, the ability to track time, keep track of clients, the list goes on. Paymo is absolutely essential for businesses looking for more organization within their departments.

Cons

The learning curve was a bit annoying considering I was used to quickbooks online. I also had to teach others how to use it, but at least I only had to set it up once.

Great App for Time Tracking, Time invoicing and Time management.

I have loved this app since it was free.. now I am happy to buy the license for the upgrade, the support and the invoicing options. You can even track your time with the applications you are using live on your computer.

You have to pay for each co-worker even if its only for a one time.

Overall I have been really impressed with Paymo, it has merged many of the tools I would often have to use seperate services for and that alone is a massive time & cost saver. Support has been excellent in the few times I have had to contact them, & I have enjoyed implementing the service as the hub for my project management needs. I look forward to the updates the Paymo team bring in the future.

Pros

The biggest selling point for me was the project management facility alongside the app & timer for time tracking. Prior to this I had used a mix of Toggl + Trello, then when I moved to Quickbooks TSheets + Trello + Quickbooks. Switching to Paymo streamlined this so that I could do all the project management and time tracking in one suite. Quickbooks integration was a necessity also considering all my finances have been handled there too. Support has been excellent as well, tickets are resolved quickly and always someone available to give a helping hand or to receive feedback.

Cons

The biggest con was actually a feature I asked about before signing up for a subscription. At present the task management boards have no guest access facility. This was a feature I was really looking for as previously I used Trello to share proofs & receive feedback from clients. Having contacted support they have informed me that this feature is on the roadmap and undergoing testing, so hopefully...

Probably the best available...

I've tried almost every time tracking app available, and while the timesheets and time tracking aren't the best of others, adding project tracking, costs, invoices etc... it makes it stand out from all others. It is the most complete package for sure. I really wish they built in integration to Xero (not sure why this was dropped, the answers on this integration are vague at best).

Pros

Nice modern layout, good time tracking. Project management features are great, can bill by fixed fee or time, or even a mixture. Shows you unbilled time which is great.

Cons

Invoices don't integrate with Xero, which makes them kind of pointless because I have to recreate them in Xero. They help to track billed/unbilled time, but lack of integration is a huge disappointment.
