I am trying to do project and program management - more than task management.
I like having access to task templates.
The software seems to be suited for task management and is very text driven. Given the fact that we will have at least 50 projects at one time, dashboards don't really help us very well and i can't drill down or up visually. I also do not like that I can't get reporting on contractors/contingent workers - we outsource all of our work, and it's impossible for our leads to get a handle on due dates without going into the details of each individual project. As a project manager, I can't see milestones or do milestone reporting (this is related to dashboards.

PWF is the most important management tool in our company.
I've been a subscriber since 2011. In the last years the number of new functions skyrocketed. I love that we can add custom fields, it is really helpful. I am also happy with the quote and invoice module, the Xero integration is crucial for us. I can't imagine my company without PWF.
Possible improvements: - direct email import to projects - a bit more fancy Fixed Cost Items list editor - thumbnails for the pictures

ProWorkflow is project management software that helps you to take care of your projects and tasks that you assign to other users. It stands out from other Project Management Applications because of its amount of extra features. You can customize time management, reports, invoicing and quote management. The dashboard is clean and comes with a small calendar as an extra. Managers can have insight into the dashboard of other users, it helps to keep an overview over larger projects.

Proworkflow has many of the feature we are looking for in our organisation to manage resources, performance and workload. However the tool lacks many features as well and not customizable to suite the needs of our company. Some time has passed since our first review and based on the follow up review a year later, not many features have been updated/changed/added , e.g. locking of timesheets and comments , easy entry of expenses against a project, integration of calendar with Outlook.
Flow of the tool, captures all items required for Project management, budgeting, workload, etc
timesheet and expense entry way to complicated and hard on the eyes. Does not limit the resources to only see their projects they are allocated too, which makes it difficult for resources to review only their workload. Does not allow timesheets and expenses to be locked once submitted, which results in the risk of hours being edited once invoiced. Does not allow for mandatory comments against each time entry which is key for our consulting business and invoicing. Does not integrate with QuickBooks Canada online.

Good. It is not perfect and has gone through growing pains, but is stable and generally usable.
THE VISUAL TIME SHEET VIEW OF THE DAY IS CRITICAL FOR TIME TRACKING AND MANAGEMENT.
I wish the gant chart system was usable and able to export to share.

We work with PWF multiple times a day, every day. We have seen continued commitment to always making the product better. We rely (without worry) on this tool, and it helps us manage and grow our business
Simple but robust, does everything we need from time tracking, project/task management and assignment to invoicing
Might not have been the coolest looking option to start with but has gotten steadily better, but regardless, the functionality is the key and it doesn't disappoint

The benefits of day to day performance of PWF software far outweighs the lack of adequate financial reporting. Appreciating that this tool is project management / scheduling focussed, some basic cost analysis is necessary when scheduling projects which have gone over estimates,etc. Overall, we are satisfied with the product and would happily recommend it to people we know as being one of the better ones to consider.

Financial reporting - being able to export expenses information, in an excel format, functionally - including expense title; description, cost, dated entered into PWF and invoice/d status. Being able to see the status of the expense on the front screen, rather than drilling into the individual expense would be very beneficial. Employee Leave - as a time management / project management tool, recording...

I've used PWF for nearly 10 years. Along the way I've entertained others here and there, and PWF has consistently been the best value and features.
Super easy to use; great customer support; great training videos and on-boarding; robust features at a reasonable price
Specifically for marketing/advertising agency...a client proofing/review feature would be great, along with better asset management specific to a project/client. A more robust client portal would be great, too.

In general, I would say everything about ProworkFlow is great. It is cheap compared to others but ive tried 15 project management software and I would say this one is the best and easier to work with. Had no issue to learn it. Went pretty fast for me to master the software. Great customer service has they provide good feedback and Skype or Zoom support!
- Easy to use interface - Fast learning - Able to manage pretty mutch every aspect of your company - Everything is editable - Custom Task - Custom project templates - User management - Contact management - Easy editing and modifications for project - Organising timeline and workflow with team - Admin panel is great for access to everything - Great support!
- Ugly looking interface ( They are working on making it look better ) - Apps ( not all of them are currently working ) - No IOS or Android App ( still have a section for toutch screen edition ) - Can't create a customer without having a company. - Have a better notification system.

Overall, it has served its purpose for us. We love the quote tool, and the reporting and can't say enough about the support response times.
The support team and response times have been amazing.
The fact that the mobile app was discontinued, and that for two years of being with the platform there doesn't look like there have been changes to support the changing needs of project management.

We love it. I did a lot of research and believe it is the best project management tool out there. You just need to accept that you need to adjust your processes and workflow to use the tool optimally
Task management, organization and the collaboration piece are what I like most. Also we were able to successfully integrate the tool with Salesforce
The UI good be improved to have a bit more professional feel.

For a marketing firm with jobs coming and going so quickly, you need a project management system to keep it all straight. ProWorkFlow delivers!
Easy to use. I can track my time, organize my tasks and to-do lists. Very helpful program. We are so glad we found it.
At first all the options were overwhelming, but eventually we are starting to use more and more of its capabilities. Adaptability to desktop Quickbooks would help, but not a deal breaker.

We have had very little issues with this software, and when we do the software company is on it to get it fixed. This software has met ALL our needs thus far.
This software does so much more than people realize, it is great for the entire company to use for reports, time management, billing, employee tracking.
It is sometimes difficult to reach someone for support, since this company is based in another country

Being able to integrate my financials and the tool was excellent and easy to use.
The application is a terrific and excellent tool for my time management and also integrates with my financial packaging which makes it so easy for me!
Not really, the only thing is sometimes when I adjust invoice have to scrap everything can't reproduce it.

I've been looking around for all-encompassing project management systems for over 2 months now. Invariably things are missing, part-baked or an additional cost. ProWorkflow was the exception to the rule as it has it all beautifully interlinked and comprehensively covered. Time tracking, desktop widget, phone image uploads, contact management, project (and task) templates just for starters - amazing. Well done!
Where to start?! Let me first say that the customer service has been beyond anything I'm used to experiencing. The fact that, within an hour of my contacting support, they had tracked down and installed my logo AND branded my account without me even asking - made a huge positive impression. The amount of online videos which guide you through how things work is great, along with the interface itself being very intuitive. I love the fact that the mobile apps are free and really support constant usage of the website and help to get the maximum from it. The ability to add as many contractors and/ or clients a you like or need removes the restrictions imposed by many other Project Management systems and allows you to concentrate on delivering projects.
It can be a bit onerous to setup, simply because there is so much of the behemoth to configure to your business - but I believe this to be a one-time investment of time which will continue to reap rewards long into the future.

Overall, this project management tool has made a significant difference in my ability to track projects and to accurately report status and accomplishments to clients.
As a user with multiple clients and multiple projects often running concurrently, ProWorkflow is the best system that I have used so far. It is easy to use without having to have a lot of training before starting. It allows me to set up projects and tasks pretty quickly including deadlines. The reporting function is useful if a bit cumbersome. They're recently added dashboard has improved the ability to visually use the product to stay on top of projects.
The reporting function takes a little bit of getting used to and segmenting reports by different clients but has been recently improved.

Overall, a great solution that cuts through the noise for you in the already-crazy world of project management with great value for money as well.
- Great support for Agile sprints, you can tell that the Agile methodology was thought of in the product's design, offering so many tools and features that enable working on sprints and other fast-paced projects. - Nice Milestone and Kanban visualisation as well. As I said earlier, points your attention to the most important thing to note; straight to the point. - Great value for money too.
- Not great support for all invoicing scenarios; that would be useful to integrate into some projects that perhaps require follow-on funding or fractional and/or incremental payments. - It doesn't have great support for extra-platform communication with colleagues and third parties that are outside the platform, this could be useful when interfacing with clients who may not be registered users
