The use of Senomix helps us to apply for SR&ED tax credits for the purpose of using exact time for research and development tasks.
Easy to use - fill in data pertinent to project tasks. Very easy to set up. My team has no trouble filling out task hours. ability to assign comments to work helps focus on every important task.
Switching between general tasks and administration is cumbersome.

In general Senomix does a good job of tracking time and if that is what you are looking for than this is a good option. I would recommend this to companies that have simple billing procedures or non complex reporting needs. Other programs that I have used had much more functionality, but that functionality came with a much larger price tag and a much steeper learning curve. If you don't see your company really digging into analytics for the evaluation of your current operations, then Senomix will work well and will be user friendly for your staff.
This software is very easy to use and can be picked up quite quickly. Additionally the program does a good job of allowing people to enter time online and tracking time for billing purposes.
My largest complaint is that there are some missing functionalities that I was used to from software that I had used at previous employments. Not being able to setup individual rates for each project at the project setup limits the functionality of reporting financials. So when we are looking at financial tracking for each project we use the program to get the time and then calculate the actual financials for the project separately. Additionally project categorization would be helpful for tracking purposes.

I wish I had the ability as a user to see how much time I have spent on each project number by task
The default feature of the timecards is nice when I don't have to add all of my projects in during the beginning of the week.
It constantly is not saving work and struggles when you have two computers attempting to access senomix.
Ouch! It sounds like your office has an older, self-installed version of Senomix Timesheets. Self-installed Senomix servers are installed on your own office network. That puts your system out of our reach for assistance unless your IT person contacts us. The issues you're describing would happen with an incorrectly configured server computer. I like the range of functionality in the types of reports I can run. I can look deeply into a specific employees time, a project, or even a project task.
I'd like to be able to clear out or file separately old projects that have been inactive for longer than a year.

Easy to keep track of my office time. I am able to log per job and per task.
When saving I often get the spinning wheel and it takes a while to register. Then I need to reload the page and log in again.
Thank you for your comments, Brittany. That spinning wheel will come up when there is a connectivity issue with your system. That would typically happen when an older self-installed system (where the system server is installed on your own network) has not been properly configured. Could you please send us an email to let us help with that? Since your system is installed in-house, we can't adjust it from here. Makes it easy to record time in an easy to view manner, separating per customer.
It's difficult to order the customers when adding a new one.
Thank you for your review, David. We're glad to hear Senomix is making your time entry easy! You should see a 'Sort' button appearing in your options menu in the near future, and that will allow you to sort your timesheet rows alphabetically with a button click. In the meantime, you can always re-order your timesheet rows with the 'move' arrows (near the bottom-left of your timesheet), or use your keyboard ctrl-arrow up/down keys to move your selected row. Senomix allows me and my supervisor to know what tasks take the most of my time and how to make the most of my work week. It ensures that my time spent working on tasks matches my time in the office.
I like that I can set a template schedule that automatically loads each week and allows for adjustments. The "comment" feature is useful to specify details involved in my work tasks. I like that my schedule can be viewed one week at a time, to provide an overall view of what I have accomplished in that week and to make time-tracking easier.
It was difficult for me to initially set up my template schedule. I found that many of my research projects are coded/named in unusual ways, making them difficult to search for. It is sometimes difficult to categorize my tasks, as well, and some tasks do not have an appropriate category.

I wish the selecting title for the task is not that confusing when you try to find the right one
