Pros

It's been great having so many templates to choose from and customize. Awesome that it can be integrated with MS Teams.
I love the ease to customize your sheet for whatever you need and however you like it. Love being able to switch around columns and sort rows so quickly too.
The project being web-based helps to share information with other members of the team. The ability to export to various formats, as well as get team updates is a huge benefit.

Pros

I like how Forecast is intuitive, fast and most importantly, fun to use. When completing tasks, you get an avatar popping up telling you great job which is fund.
As an engineer there is nothing more rewarding than tracking my time. Forecast allows me to do that in a fun and easy way.
I like that it is very easy to use and has helped me to organize better my time and have knowledge of where my hours are being allocated.

Cons

I then took the Smartsheet training to be certified and that opened my eyes to the power of the tool (and also to the fact that the sheets I hated were users in our company using it very, very WRONG).
The only complaint that I have is that if the spreadsheet is very large, the page can be slightly laggy.
Some features seem to be missing or limited features available.

Cons

Not usable on mobile devices, and disappointed by the aggressive upselling and hidden cancellation terms.
The website is virtually unusable for anyone who is visually impaired and uses screen reading software. There is little to no keyboard access and the site does not follow accessibility standards.
I think the feature that is missing the most is being able to see on the scheduler that the resource was already allocated with tasks in the projects.

We were looking for a tool that will give us the ability to track and forecast projects, down to the day. With SmartSheet, we were able to do this and we were also able to insure all key steps we completed before a milestone was completed within the tool. SmartSheet has a ton a features and capabilities, which will take some time to get familiar with, but once you understand the features, you'll have the ability to use SmartSheet to it's full potential.

Pros

- Ability to track and update project forecast in real time - Ability to share sheets with others, but also controlling the rights in the sheet - Duplicate sheets - User interface - Short ramp to create and manage a sheet

Cons

- Inability to integrate with a CRM - Inability to integrate with Outlook - Specific features are hard to implement early in the process

We have had a good experience so far, we will be working to connect with the support staff to use the new features in hopes of bringing effieciency to our reporting.

Pros

Allows us to stay updated (daily) on each loan request which is submitted to our department. We also use the software to forecast projections each month, and give us the opportunity to discuss as a team what is needed to ensure a timely closing of each loan.

Cons

The online support sometimes does not provide the help we need at times, however, I have contacted the support team and they have been good in responding to questions that come up regarding features of the software.

Pros

Each department is able to interact with the same project, collaborate efforts, report updates, and gather information that may impact their schedules. From a PMO perspective, we have an eagle-eye view of progress and can forecast gaps in scheduling, overallocation, and if we need to enhance governance across projects. This tool has served many purposes for our company and we are regularly finding new ways of improvement.

Cons

I wish the integration with Harvest software was better to help gain a full view of project progress in one program.
