Pros

It's been great having so many templates to choose from and customize. Awesome that it can be integrated with MS Teams.
I love the ease to customize your sheet for whatever you need and however you like it. Love being able to switch around columns and sort rows so quickly too.
The project being web-based helps to share information with other members of the team. The ability to export to various formats, as well as get team updates is a huge benefit.

Pros

We love Project Bubble for it's ease of use, but it is so much more. It's a cost effective tool that is always growing and helps keep our teams of employees on track and communicating.
The features that I love about this project is. EASY TO USE - Easy to use and nice interface.
I love Project Bubble, it's the perfect blend of power and simplicity that helps me keep track of the many projects in my life.

Cons

I then took the Smartsheet training to be certified and that opened my eyes to the power of the tool (and also to the fact that the sheets I hated were users in our company using it very, very WRONG).
The only complaint that I have is that if the spreadsheet is very large, the page can be slightly laggy.
Some features seem to be missing or limited features available.

Cons

The main page can sometimes be confusing if you do not know where you need to go to access the proper project information.
I am impressed with this tool, but lagging issues sometimes annoy me.
Occasionally I have forgotten to turn off the timer and it records all weekend long, but I am able to manually adjust so it is not a huge deal.

If you are looking for a spreadsheet manager or online database, this is a great tool. If you are looking for a project management documentation tool, this is not the best choice.

Pros

The cloud-based saving and hosting makes using and sharing the sheets easy to manage and a great upgrade compared to emailing spreadsheets to team members and clients.

Cons

This is not a project management software. It markets as a way to generate timelines, project documentation, but it cannot compete with actual project documentation software.

Pros

Smartsheet is a easy to use, yet thorough tool to help any role in delivering projects. It is not as complicated as other PM software like MS Project to learn, it was very easy to figure out but there are tutorials available to help you get up to speed. Being able to create and show dashboards is a great feature.

Cons

Not a feature set as other project management tools like MS project, may not suit the hardcore PM crowd

I have been using Smartsheet for 2 years and I really love the user interface and how easy it is to set up and share project sheets with others. Smartsheet also integrates with Box, which allows us to seamlessly share content and collaborate. Smartsheet also has a ton of resources (webinars, knowledge base, customer support) to help get novices users up and running!

I used the project for a 2 year engagement and it was easy to use and provided a nice way to provide transparency with the rest of our workstreams.

Pros

Easy to learn to use. If you have any experience with project management, even a simple Excel template, this software is easy to use.

Cons

Limited to the number of lines for project, but it is over 1000 so not a problem for most project planners.

Ability to think of projects in different ways, sometimes more useful than traditional proj mgmt apps.

Pros

If you think in terms of simple lists, rows and columns, and like to write and track (mentally) your projects on paper, Smartsheet is for you.

Cons

For me, the more complex and detailed the project was, the more I had to rely on more traditional project mgmt software.

Pros

I really enjoy the easy of use. It is very user friendly and easy to navigate. As a Project Manager, I use this product for the following documents: Project Log, Project Schedule, Project Plan, and Project Issues.

Cons

There is not a lot that I dislike. If I had to pick something, I would say there could be more document templates. However in the several years that I have been using SmartSheet, many more have been added, so that is no longer a con.

we were able to integrate tableau with smartsheet to manage a specific group of master data elements that did not have a source

I use smartsheet to publish the milestones associated with my project so key stakeholders can easily view my project status.

Pros

I had used microsoft project previously and smartsheet was very easy to learn. It integrates easily with confluence. We have multiple projects going on simultaneously and were able to create a master project with links to the smartsheets of the other projects.

Cons

I haven't found any real cons yet. It has all of the features I commonly would use in creating a project plan with microsoft project.

My overall experience with Smartsheet has been exceedingly positive. I particularly find the project management tool with Gantt charts very useful and they have helped me bring significant projects to completion. They have many useful templates such as task lists, forms, sales pipeline, and project management or you can easily create your own. I often pin photographs and logos to various rows. There is an important reminder function which I utilize heavily and the ability to share this application from teammates and ask for updates greatly facilitates collaboration

Pros

Smartsheet is very intuitive to use. Anyone familiar with spreadsheets can get up and running immediately. The ability to pin documents and URLs and comments to any row is an important productivity feature because it makes information easily available when you want it. While in Business School we used a number of collaboration software products to work on projects with our teammates but when I was introduced me to smartsheets I decided that that was the tool for our company and I'm glad I did.

Cons

I have experienced no cons with this project.

Pros

The fact it is online and shared among all users and the possibility of commenting on the tasks. You van use it instead of MS Project.

Cons

The iOS App could be a litlle more intuitive.

Overall, we are happy with our roll-out of Smartsheets, as it has allowed us greater organization and insight into our project plans and their successes. While there is a learning curve, by keeping our team involved with utilizing this program to its fullest capabilities, we have seen great success.

Pros

Great visual management features of project plans and schedules. Task tracking allows our project managers to make sure that everyone on the project team knows their specific tasks, when they're due, etc. We love the layout of the project plans, which allows for color coding and easily breaking down tasks within a larger project plan. Easily shareable with project members.

Cons

There is a lot to Smarsheets which can be intimidating to new users, and it's not the easiest to pick up with so many options for customization.

Project Management is robust CRM is adequate - resource tracking proficient - Project Plan is perfect.

Pros

the nimbleness of Smartsheet is what is attractive to me - hard to find a offering that allows several workflow in a small business environment that checks all the boxes for a successful first line provider organization.

Cons

can get lost in wormholes on occasion but that is more related to education of the product

We used it for project management for a year-long project it did OK.

Pros

Ease of use. Looks similar to using a spreadsheet so it is similar to most people.

Cons

Sometimes it feels too much like a spreadsheet and can be mundane.
