Pros

What is also super awesome is I can share these timelines on an individual client level so they can see their project and what is scheduled as well as the project progress.
What I really appreciate with using Toggl Plan is that I can have a great overview of all the things I've done along the timeline - which is pretty motivating.
The tool shows a clear timeline with all my projects. It's a super nice interface with all projects visualized on the calendar.

Pros

WorkOtter staff are very friendly and helpful. They are good communicators and easy to work with.
It is a user-friendly software to work with. I would like to mention that the dashboards integrations are great and the way how you can monitor and track resources is great.
I would highly recommend this to other project managers. The cost of the product is amazing for everything you get with this program.

Cons

I had trouble finding all functionalities on app that are on the web. Gganted I was using it before their newest app version.
It can be a pain to create several of the same task. The big issue for me, however, is the lack of synergy between Toggl Plan and Toggl Track.
When I first started in my current position I was a bit lost on how to organize everything and keep my team on track.

Cons

I have not yet found anything so far that I dislike about the software.
I am from Brazil and they support English only. I already mailed them with this suggestion but no ETA yet.
There is no way to track time inside of the application via timer.

Innovative Partner for Project Management

Our experience dealing with WorkOtter was fantastic. Their sales staff were very knowledgable and their 30 day implementation plan really helps with the transition.

Pros

What we like most about the software is that it gives us the option to customize the display to better suit our needs.

Comprehensive project management tool for all project phases

Pros

The ability to plan a project to a very detailed or very simple level with all options in between. Very adaptable to the level of planning a particular product needs.

Cons

Single-currency. For international projects it would be very impactful to be able to see fiscal amounts in currencies used, rather than having to manually calculate outside the systems.

Platform to grow with

Great experience! The 30 day implementation plan launched us into using WorkOtter effectively and helped us grow into the tools and capabilities. The support team is fabulous and invested in our success.

Pros

I love this product for it's gorgeous, easy-to-use dashboards. It's so customizable and intuitive in matters of personalization. You can tell that visual displays of data and reports are important to the developers. The resource management tools are also very helpful, both for planning and post-mortem. The predictive portfolio timeline features is a great tool for allocating work to different teams or people, and it's easy to compare actual hours worked with forecasts, in order to better predict in the future.

Cons

The powerful tools can be a lot to take in at first! The on-boarding process is very helpful, with excellent support, but a some adjustment was needed to take full advantage of the software.

Sometimes learning to use a new project management system can be annoying and intimidating but the 30-day implementation plan and customer support people make sure everything is running smoothly and are always happy to help.

Pros

WorkOtter has been a great tool in encouraging collaboration with folks across different institutions as we do committee work. I love the way you can visualize the workflow for the project and time assigned to my colleagues and make sure that tasks are divided in a way that will allow for successful completion of projects.

Cons

This software is new for us so we are still working through it but so far there have been no drawbacks.

Their staff is extremely knowledgable and they don't make you answer way too many questions in order to get started!

Pros

I really like that the reports can be emailed to users automatically and you can customize and build your own dashboard. I like the mobile views of iOS and all the interactive features. This is great software and I plan on continuing to use this!

Cons

To be honest, eveything has exceeded my expectations! I can't think of anything so far!

Work Otter Makes Daily Tasks Easier

When we were first learning how to use the software the 30 day implementation plan was the absolute key to getting up and running. The Work Otter team was very helpful in guiding our team to understanding the different steps during our initial setup.

Pros

This software takes the guess work out of understanding what my supervisors are wanting done per task. The automated team collaboration is my life saver.

Cons

It took a little time for my co-workers and myself to get used to using it, but that had nothing to do with the software. Once we all knew how things worked we fell right into place quite rapidly.

WorkOtter: A Dream come true for every Project Managers

It was a wonderful and satisfying experience with WorkOtter. I must admit there were challenges but their 30 days implementation plan really worked wonder. We were never worried because the support teams were really knowledgeable and were there to support us until we have successfully have deployed the system.

Pros

One thing that I really liked about Workotter is the way how we can customize the displays. It gives Project Managers a lot of flexibility to customize the dashboard into his own style. It offers simple and a very easy way on how to create your own custom menu, where you can assign your own categories and reports. This saves a lot of time getting the right information or data that you want. Truly, this is one of the strong assets of Workotter. Another great thing about WorkOtter is their support team. they have answered my queries in the fastest manner and more importantly they are friendly. They have handled all of my queries during the 30 days implementation and so far I am more than satisfied with their support.

Cons

As per evaluation, so far we are very happy with Workotter. Though, we encountered some challenges setting it up, but all of those are just minor concerns that has been fixed already. The experience so far has been great. They have an amazing support that helps us set our business up and running. We know we made the right choice with Workotter.

Top performance, saved time and money!

Pros

You can make your own detailed and specific report by being able to manipulate data as needed and receiving the information to be at our top performance. At the same time takes the weight of one's shoulder because it really does it all for you, saving me time and money while creating a perfect plan for my company.

Cons

To be honest nothing major I would say. At first, it seemed complicated because there's so much to it but after spending 30 minutes using the software I realized it was just me that had the impression because I was navigating like an expert after just a few minutes of browsing :)

Workotter fits my organizations projects like a glove

It was easy to work with the engineer from Workotter to personalize our software and dashboards to the needs of my company. The 30 days implementation plan gave us the peace of mind and enough time to get acquainted with the system while knowing assistance is always at hand. The support team have been excellent so far and very knowledgeable when i contact them.

Pros

I love that the software was personalize to my company's projects. It also syncs easily to Microsoft excel which enables me to work on excel when i want to and easily transfer into the software. In a world of team collaboration, this software does a fantastic job.

Cons

None so far. Everything has been working great since we started using it.

A great one stop shop. I am able to be even more organized as a consultant.

Pros

I have a Master in Project Management, I apply all the Project Management principles to all my projects as a Management Consultant. I love most of all that at the clip of the mouse I can analyze the risks, cost and resource plan of my project....in addition, I can also see the progress of multiple projects. This software is a combination of all the PM software out there....inclusive of msprojects. I intend to use this software to do my work.

Cons

I need training from the developers themselves. To train the staff in Jamaica. That would be great for our company as we are a part of the government sector and we need tools like this software being used all over the country to assist Project Managers to run better projects in all public sectors in Jamaica.

Scaleable Project Process Management

Pros

WorkOtter gives more attention to the overall process of projects and portfolios than other task-based systems. The ability to use their "What-if" sandbox in order to project a myriad of variables gives managers the ability to think ahead and plan for contingencies. The software's ability to communicate with other stand-alone products such as Microsoft Project and JIRA makes this a great tool for companies with departments that are not already directly connected to WorkOtter. The visibility between forecasted and actual time spent on projects is invaluable.

Cons

As with all large-scope platforms, there is a learning curve to WorkOtter, but the good thing is that they've been at this for a long time and know how to get you the help you need. The software is currently only able to be used in "the cloud."

WorkOtter represents the two most important features of project management; discipline and agility.

Pros

I am the Senior Project Manager for a Digital Marketing Agency and have been doing project management work for over 20 years using Microsoft Project primarily. The greatest advantage WorkOtter provides is the ability to do project setup once and then iterate through changes to the project plan such as scope increases, new requirements, changes to the resources needed to support the project and even group interdisciplinary projects into portfolios at the click of the mouse. A project manager the ability to take advantage of the automated features of WorkOtter such as data analytics and visualization to show the most critical executive the status of things (good and bad) in a matter of minutes vice hours and days.

Cons

The learning curve to become highly proficient with the software is significant. However, the return on your investment of time to learn the intimate capabilities of the software is high. You will recoup all the time spent leaning how to use WorkOtter through the reduction in time to manipulate the project to show a detailed performance picture for the work being done.

WorkOtter has been a pleasure to work with! It is extremely user friendly for our most tech-savvy employees to those who struggle with new technology. I highly recommend this software for project management needs.

Pros

Everyone at my company loves WorkOtter! It has been a great addition to organize and properly resource our tasks and projects. The sandbox is a great resource to plan out future possibilities and move tasks around as needed. I especially love how the dashboards can be customized per user, giving everyone exactly what they need in one easy to use dashboard. The animations integrated with the dashboard is a wonderful bonus and the perfect way to view all the data. Another nice feature with the dashboards is that it categorizes urgent tasks so I'm not sifting through a lot of information to get to the important tasks for the day. This software is perfect for individual user and integrates perfectly for team use across the board!

Cons

We have no complaints so far with the use of this software, it's been great!

Really versatile and easy to use tool - great from Management level and Project Managers alike

Pros

I like that WorkOtter provides the ability to see the higher-level overview of projects/programs, resourcing, and financials - it's all integrated so you can see real time where things are. WorkOtter has great dashboard views that you can easily drill down into to see specifics. The Workflow is really helpful. It also integrates with MS project and other PM tools which is a plus. WorkOtter allows me to manage projects but also plan and forecast - easy to do what/if's scenarios and to see how different scenarios impact resource planning. I am both a manager and a project manager - I like that this tool allows me to see both the micro and macro view of where my projects and team are at any given time.

Cons

Not too much, I like it a lot. If I had to pick an issue it would be that it is dependent on the quality of that inputted data - but that is the case with any tool like this.
